Angelina is a true child prodigy, unlike any I have seen in my lifetime. I am sad that I am 70 years old and will not be able to see the culmination of this young lady's achievements, but I will savor every song she sings while I am still here on earth. Thanks again for a nice reaction Harri!

Many people don’t know that Sreamin Jay Hawkins was a boxing champ. He joined the army at age 13 using forged ID. He was a formidable opponent in the army and later in the airforce boxing circuits. He won several boxing golden glove awards mostly in his hometown of Cleveland. In 1949 he won Alaska’s middleweight title.

Dear Harri, You mention that Angelina is far beyond her age like Michael Jackson was in his early singing career. Angelina sang for Quincy Jones's 85th birthday (See especially the video clip of her rehearsing Fly Me To The Moon with the orchestra preparing for this event). It is said that he commented, she is the most talented young artist he has heard since Michael Jackson. I think he appreciated that she reads, composes, and arranges her own compositions and covers. Her sound comes out of her soul, not just her mouth. Enjoy!
She did Million Million Miles when she was 14. And to hold up Screamin' Jay's picture on the candle. Not that that isn't astounding. Her 12 year old version of Rihanna's Stay is amazing. I think her heartbreaking Always On My Mind was around 12 too. (And that little girl with no shoes was probably in Iran and I suspect Angelina must have spoken to her in Farsi.)

9 year 2 months old Angelina created a genius arrangement to this Screamin Jay Hawkins classic and delivers powerful flawless performance where she OWNS the band. Angelina is always the boss in the studio and takes full control of her music. She is a prodigy unlike any we have ever seen and stands alone vocally regardless of age, mostly because of the tremendous emotion she evokes but the million other reasons should not be ignored. I agree Angelina's empathy always needs to be recognized, supported and cherished.

You should go the other way now. Angelina has recently released a song she wrote called 7th Heaven, it’s really good. She’s now 15 and 6 foot tall, so don’t expect a little girl in a white dress.
People keep repeating that’s she's 6 feet tall. There's no real evidence of this. It's not verified as fact. She's remarkable enough as she is, we don't need to add any extra attributes to her that she doesn't have.
@@jeffstumpf9129 so here we go again. If you search TH-cam for “meeting Angelina Jordan” and watch a video from the React to the World channel. They meet Angelina by accident in 2019 before AGT. During the meeting they say they heard she’s 6 foot, and it’s not denied. Angelina dwarfs the woman, and is clearly much taller than the man who claims to be 5ft 9inches. They talk about wearing shoes, but she is wearing trainers not high heals. There are also some videos of her meeting fans outside AGT and she is clearly much taller than all the women and most of the men. I only saw one taller man. Also, unless they sawed down that kitchen and shortened the doors in the Millions Miles video she is clearly very tall. I and my son are over 6ft, and in that kitchen work top is touching her about the same height a work top touches us. From this I deduct she is at least 6ft.

I think this is a good thing, as regardless of what people say, it's not all about the voice in the cut throat world of show business. The ability to literally stand out from the crowd can't hurt her. My sister and her two girls are really tall too and at a personal level it hasn't held them back in anyway.

That was a really nice reaction. The story of the shoes and the girl in the Middle East, Angelina wrote a book about it - called Between two Hearts (at 9 years old) - she is the youngest published author in Norway. She gave her own shoes to the girl, I understand that her mother had to carry her home (she was 6 years old at the time). This is indeed a very special person, we are so lucky to know of her, and to be able to see her performances, and of course to read her book...

In an interview after Angelina was declared the winner of the 2014 series of Norway's Got Talent, her mother, Sara Astar, made it very clear that the family's priority was to ensure that Angelina had a normal childhood, with the emphasis on her education.

It has been amusing through the years to watch reactors on this; they start out grooving to the beat, and then lose the rhythm and freeze. Much like me, I suppose, the first time I heard this. I’m so glad I was introduced to her on a trip to Norway one week after the final of NGT. My host, a musician, couldn’t wait to put me in front of his computer. He gave me Summertime first, and all I could think was Ella. My days start with a search for anything new on her.
