Her family has been keeping the industry 'wolf' away from her since NGT, and just allowed her to sign with Republic Records last August! It's fairly clear she has retained creative control of her work, and the right to limit her schedule until she's older. She's staying in school for now and music comes 2nd!

How many people can sing live just as well as in the recorded version? Her vocal control is off the charts, she's like a machine. You surely have noticed it in her cover of "Million years ago" too, that she sang the second verse and chorus (almost) exactly like she did in the first part. Btw, you should be careful of copyright strikes when you play longer sequences of the video without interruption. Angelina got famous after her first appearance at NGT when she sang "gloomy sunday" at the age of 7. The performance of her "Bohemian Rhapsody" at AGT got viral too and was another huge stepping stone in her career. But in my opinion she's still badly underrated. She deserves more recognition.

Her recorded version of this song is a bit different and perhaps less exciting than this version on the AGTC stage, where the presence of the audience and some choices that she probably made with respect to the audience present in some passages make her more emotional. Not only is her singing a jaw dropping experience, but seeing a six year old reading the adult level lyrics, while singing, is also jaw dropping. There is also the fact that Angelina is singing in English instead of her native Norwegian language. It turns out that Angelina could speak four languages by the time she was eight years old. The coverage provided by AGTC is just massive and helped her to double her subscriber count on YT in a mere year. And it still attracts new fans that would otherwise never have heard of her (like myself). She's a household name in Norway but sadly still relatively unknown in the rest of the world. Social media numbers suggest the US recently grew to become her largest fanbase. She signed with Republic Records last year, supposedly on very preferential terms. The contact came to be through her new song "Million Miles". The popularity through AGTC may potentially have been a helping hand in terms of bargaining power to get those conditions. But that's just speculation on my part.

Thank you Harri for coming back to this version which I think is a little better than her channel one. She arranged this herself as she has done with every song she performs since age 8. She actually auditioned on NGT at 7 with Billie Holiday's "Gloomy Sunday" but the show lasted over a 6 month period so her final performance of "Summertime" was at age 8. Since America's Got Talent she has gotten much more exposure worldwide and signed with Republic Records (UMG) about 6 months after AGT at 14 years old as a "high priority" talent. Her parents have turned down numerous record labels since Norway's Got Talent because they wanted her to have a normal childhood and apparently did not need the money that comes with it. Only after Republic agreed to Angelina's terms, including giving her control of her content. Many believe Republic has not promoted her very much because she is still in High School which is very important to her and her family.

Times but her family wanted her to have a somewhat normal childhood but after AGT Republic Record gave the family what they wanted and she was signed .. before AGT she sang for Obama And many heads of state at 3 or 4 different concerts she sang in the Allen Walker concert she sang in Quincy Jones 85 birthday concert in the 02 arena at his invitation so the world new AJ long before AGT and she sang in Japan and in dozens of venues all over Norway

New people to Angelina get sucked down this road of experience not believing what they're hearing her excellent vocals and unique way of singing, Angelina is a master at music structure her ability to show absolute recognition to a cover while she makes it her own. Angelina writes her own music and produces it. Angelina's mother is Norwegian, her father is from Sweeden The grandmother on her mother's side is from Iran and her grandfather (recently deceased) from Japan both grandparents are very involved with Angelina's growing up, Angelina's song a million miles is about losing her grandfather.

These talent show have a time limit sadly for how long a song/performance can be.
I'm not sure if it was mentioned, but when the votes were cast for the 10 finalists in Norway's Got Talent, Angelina received 46% and the other 9 contestants got the remainder. That's even more impressive.
Unfortunately for Angelina, and many others, the pandemic put a hold on her career. She had many concerts scheduled for 2020, that were all cancelled or postponed.
But she didn't waste the time, she said she has been writing more original music and songs, which she has now just started releasing. So we are in for some treats from now on.... 🙂👍

I have listened to her every day since. 2020 was not as horrific as it could have been-- it started with BR and ended with her releasing Million Miles. Angelina is from Norway and up to that point most of her exposure was in the European areas. She did visit Asia and did visit the US once or twice, but the bulk of her fans were overseas. Once she did AGT, for US market multiplied greatly and was the start of a new phase of her career.

Norwegian born Angelina won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8 years old singing Old Time classic songs that are unheard of in a child that age. She became the youngest ever winner of an international Got Talent Show!

Her stated goal from childhood was to sing for the world and spread love and peace to make the world better. How can you not love her?
When she was 6 years old, she was in the Middle East with her mom and grandmother and they came across a young orphan girl with no shoes and scarred feet. Angelina gave the girl her own shoes and promised she would never again wear shoes while performing until all children of the world had shoes! At age 9 she wrote a book about this experience, and became the youngest ever published author in Norway.
So again, how and why do we praise and love Angelina? It is self-evident. Reactors from all over the world have been following her for years and are now more than just reactors. How many people can sing live just as well as in the recorded version? Her vocal control is off the charts, she's like a machine. You surely have noticed it in her cover of "Million years ago" too, that she sang the second verse and chorus (almost) exactly like she did in the first part.

Angelina got famous after her first appearance at NGT when she sang "gloomy sunday" at the age of 7. The performance of her "Bohemian Rhapsody" at AGT got viral too and was another huge stepping stone in her career. But in my opinion she's still badly underrated. She deserves more recognition.

Before AGT Champions AJ was already a national treasure in Norway, but relatively unknown in the US. All of her performances on that show went viral on You Tube and reactors began spreading the word. So Howie was basically right.
When her record label (Republic Records) , family and herself want it, they can just push the button. Many people forget that she is only 15 years old today because she is so mature for her age. She still goes to school. and I think everyone on her team including the record company (Republic Records), slows down a bit with marketing her. She is so good anyway, so she can not be ignored. She delivers music that lasts, and not music that lasts for a few weeks as plastic hit. Angelina has over 300 Million Views on TH-cam and over 1 Billion Views on Facebook overall on her videos. Angelina won Norway's Got Talent at the Age of 8, and has been producing masterclass level vocals ever since. The only and regular marketing is done by the fans via TH-cam. Thank you Harri for this other view of this fantastic interpretation of Angelina. Her recorded version of this song is a bit different and perhaps less exciting than this version on the AGTC stage, where the presence of the audience and some choices that she probably made with respect to the audience present in some passages make her more emotional.

You should watch and react to Angelina’s first studio performance when she was six years old. Angelina covered Tom Jones’ song, “I Who Have Nothing”. Not only is her singing a jaw dropping experience, but seeing a six year old reading the adult level lyrics, while singing, is also jaw dropping. There is also the fact that Angelina is singing in English instead of her native Norwegian language. It turns out that Angelina could speak four languages by the time she was eight years old. She also plays different musical instruments. She wrote four songs and recorded them by the time she was twelve years old. She writes the arrangements to the cover songs she sings. She was giving musical direction and advice to band and orchestra leaders at the age of nine. She is the youngest Norwegian citizen to have written a book and had it published. She accomplished this feat at nine years of age, the same age when she covered Screamin’ Jay Hawkins’ 1956 song, “I put a spell on you”.
It is safe to say that Angelina is a bona fide musical genius.

The coverage provided by AGTC is just massive and helped her to double her subscriber count on YT in a mere year. And it still attracts new fans that would otherwise never have heard of her (like myself). She's a household name in Norway but sadly still relatively unknown in the rest of the world. Social media numbers suggest the US recently grew to become her largest fanbase.
She signed with Republic Records last year, supposedly on very preferential terms. The contact came to be through her new song "Million Miles". The popularity through AGTC may potentially have been a helping hand in terms of bargaining power to get those conditions. But that's just speculation on my part.

Harri, I can't believe I missed this. I must have joined you on your Angelina journey with a different song. It's definitely a can't miss when we know a reactor is about to hear this for the first time. Thank you for not pausing during her performance. I know you took a chance. But, you know what? Many reactors, like you, found it impossible to pause because you knew you were listening to a masterpiece. And, You Tube, I believe, has pardoned all the people who did not pause because, even they knew it would have been very wrong to stop during the song.

Thank you Harri for coming back to this version which I think is a little better than her channel one. She arranged this herself as she has done with every song she performs since age 8. She actually auditioned on NGT at 7 with Billie Holiday's "Gloomy Sunday" but the show lasted over a 6 month period so her final performance of "Summertime" was at age 8. Since America's Got Talent she has gotten much more exposure worldwide and signed with Republic Records (UMG) about 6 months after AGT at 14 years old as a "high priority" talent. Her parents have turned down numerous record labels since Norway's Got Talent because they wanted her to have a normal childhood and apparently did not need the money that comes with it. Only after Republic agreed to Angelina's terms, including giving her control of her content. Many believe Republic has not promoted her very much because she is still in High School which is very important to her and her family.
I didn’t personally know anything about her until I seen her on America’s Got Talent and then wondered where she went and I seen her all over TH-cam....So It really really got my attention towards her...I’m thankful for that so thankful!!!

Way before AGT almost every major record label had offered her contracts multi. Times but her family wanted her to have a somewhat normal childhood but after AGT Republic Record gave the family what they wanted and she was signed .. before AGT she sang for Obama And many heads of state at 3 or 4 different concerts she sang in the Allen Walker concert she sang in Quincy Jones 85 birthday concert in the 02 arena at his invitation so the world new AJ long before AGT and she sang in Japan and in dozens of venues all over Norway
