Mimir is seriously the nicest guy ever. You don't know him for more than an hour, and when a truly invincible deranged god shows up to try and kill you, the first thing he starts pleading is to leave you alone and take him instead.

Baldur was fucking gold in this game. Every scene he was in, he totally stole the show. Props to his voice actor.
Twiggy Shei I'm so astounded by most of the actors in this game. Most of them were really compelling. I got annoyed a little bit by the hipster dwarf, but otherwise everyone is so awesome.
Joseph Morales Feel the same, felt like i wanted to kill Atreus when he was being a prick for that short period before this scene as well; but that is just good voice acting. Mark Hamill would be proud.

Gah dayum the soundtrack is fucking amazing there, how the music builds up to have like a part of "relief" just so it gets intense. Goosebumps.
I can't get enough of the part at 4:45.This is one of my favorite scenes in the whole game. I don't know why. I kind of get Logan vibes from it. Kratos is older, you can see he struggles a bit, he breathes heavily while running, but nonetheless, he keeps running like a fucking fright train, you know there is no stopping him. The music also gives an excellent vibe of desperation and urgency. His son is in danger. Baldur is not getting away so easily. Old man Kratos is coming for you.

1:45 You can see how Kratos is utterly terrified by this, is his biggest fear: he not only hurt Atreus but see his son repeating the cicle becoming a monster and killing him. The emotional impact is so big he can't react.

I like how Atreus never really witnesses the moments where Kratos shows he really loves him.
- His sickness comes back and goes unconscious, Kratos gets worried sick and goes to hell just to heal him.
- Atreus gets knocked out and kidnapped by Baldur, Kratos jumps off a mountain, screams "STAY AWAY FROM MY SON!" at Baldur and falls again from the back of a dragon, only to get up and run back after him.
He sees at the end of the game tho

Amazing boss fight. A game doesn't just need gameplay and hardcore overpowered characters, it needs a good soundtrack, smooth combat respective to its genre, good story and character development. This game had everything and the cinematics were all amazing. Perfect contender for game of the year.

I really like the way on how he said it to Baldur.
As much as I loved ragnarok. It's moment like this that makes it's predecessor just that bit better. Baldur was such a well written character and the set pieces in this game are unmatched
Baldur with his curse is also the most powerfull opponnent that Kratos has ever face.
The way Baldur just bids a polite goodbye to Kratos as he leaves, it's like his way of acknowledging a fellow indestructible
The actor for Kratos is so good that when he was scolding Atreus for being rash and disrespectful, it felt like he was scolding me >n

I love the fact that Baldur just tanks hits from Kratos because he feels nothing and is invulnerable, so it makes sense he wouldn't even try to fight back at times.
Man, the adrenaline rush I felt during the run down the bridge for the first time is a feeling I will take to my grave. Legit made me get up off my chair and played the rest of this standing up.

Hearing Kratos scream Atreus after hearing him call him boy for the last few hours really made the scene feel weighted. Hats off to the developers of this game for crafting a genuinely memorable game
people talk about specific moments from this, but the whole scene, fromthe fight on the mountain, to jumping onto baldurs dragon and then fighting on it, to being transported to helheim is completely unmatched, this whole video from start to finish is like nothing I've ever seen before in videogames, TV and movies
