- If you can't find a decent dash this mat be your best option. After some minor trimming it fits pretty well. RTV silicone included.

I know this a old video, I bought the coverlay myself, but ended up having Brian make me a dash and I love it
He does excellent work!
The only problem I've seen with them is they will only stay as flat as the factory dash. If your factory dash is warped it will press against the overlay. The overlay acts as an insulator and the heat will cause the factory dash to warp farther making the overlay bulge up in the middle. This was on trucks parked outside in direct sunlight when they weren't being driven. Either way they look a million times better than a cracked dash. Luckily mine looks like it was attacked by a badger and I don't mind.

I bought one of those dash covers for my S10 a couple of years ago and still haven’t put it on, I had dry fitted it after I got it but I was not really comfortable about how it was gonna turn out once it was glued down
After watching your installation I feel a bit more confident about tackling it now

Dry fit, trim, remove speaker grills and defrost vents.

Man I need to do that to mine, dash is cracked all to heck, I got a good bit of body and interior work to do to my 93 2.8l s10, money is my only enemy on my project lol, all that aside you inspire me man, and I believe you are close to my region. Keep on rockin man, would love to take a ride in one of those bad boys one of these days

Should have brushed them speaker grills real good first, still see a little trash down in there. Looks pretty good though. Did it come with anything to snap into the little window defrost vents and speaker covers? My dash is in about the same shape as Your's. I have a 1991 SLX Sonoma I'm restoring. 138,000 miles in really good shape for it's age. Driving in from work Yesterday in a storm and a damn Tree blows down in front of Me, couldn't avoid it. Hit it running about 45mph, busted My grill, bent front bumper and the little horn things that collapse in a collision. Getting ready to order parts now and replace everything this weekend.
$1000 for a dash? i wouldn't pay that for whole truck i have two s10's that need the same thing good video!!!

I think mine in the attic is red, pulled from junkyard years ago didn’t have any cracks…was $40 I think. No glove box door though. Plan on doing like black suede with red stitching.
My dash is all curled up around the vents and right infront of the driver there is some deep cracks and pealed up. I think ill have to do some work b4 the topper will fit properly.
Yeah, take a razor knife and remove any material that's sticking up or looks to be in the way.

Looks good, but you should have sprayed the gray parts with that red fabric vinyl paint and you wouldn't hardly been able to notice it at all.
Ive got the red cluster hood, the rest i kinda dig the contrast.
The interiors on our trucks are identical except mines sadly my daily so not nearly as clean but nothing past surface rust on the frame and the tiniest spec that just started by my driver door
This one was all grey interior when I got it.

Where can I find a syclone/GT style bumper, skirts, side cladding like yours and on others? I have a 92 sonoma i really want to make look good but I cant find anything that isnt absurdly priced.
They were very limited production. 806 gts. 3000 syclones. You can easily get 4k wrapped up in a gt kit, syclone costing even more. There's more to them than tossing the kits on. They have special bumpers and mounts and all kits of clips and stuff. I'd say they are probably the most expensive. Then the cameo kit would be next. I've got a front bumper, cover, mounts and bumperettes, I'd have to have 2k for it.

You can get Nos bezels in black. I dont remember if I painted these or used stock. Cameos usually had black

Yes still looks about like it did. No fade or cracks nothing came loose
Has anyone cut away any cracks that are bulging up? I've got an 89 with only 87k on it but it sat on on a farm just soaking up the sun! Major crack on passenger. Looks like tectonic plates collided lol.
Also do you know how to find a value on a truck that old?

Still solid. You will see some movement in the material when it gets real hot. So make sure to only glue the edges down..

Do they make that cover without the vent holes mine is an 87 base model and looks worse than yours lol had the truck for over 25 years and just finished the V8 swap so it's interior time.
