My pops had a brown manual 2x4 84 blazer BACCKK in the day! Those rear seats, arm pads, all that, brings back SO MUCH memories. I've always had a thi g for them, just never got around to getting one. So I'll just live vicariously through your shit! 🤣

At dollar giant/ dollar tree you can buy a generic brand of OxiClean in the laundry detergent section.
Spray the carpet with SuperClean, sprinkle the OxiClean all over the carpet, get a hand brush or a brush attachment to a drill and work the carpet. It’ll help remove the oils much better and it’ll smell good.
If your scrapyard has interchange system ask for a interchange on some seats n they'll print u out a full list of every year make n model u can use seats from for the blazer 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Don’t sleep on the duplicolor vinyl and fabric, it’s a cheat code. Also SEM trim black is like magic for plastic
Yeah I’ve definitely dyed carpets after a good clean
100% the duplicolor saved the ugly interior of my 94 Lexus.
Carpet cleaning is so satisfying. You should of used a drill brush while you had the super clean and soap on it

My first car was a ‘92 s10 Blazer 4x4 with a 4.3L in blue.
Need to get a carpet brush drill attachment would have helped on that carpet. I would paint that blazer a blue with pearl in it would look amazing.
I had a 84 blazer sport edition. With the 2.8, built motor ,2 stage cam and it would Rev out to 10 grand.kept up with the v8 cars. I did go threw 4 flex plates and 3 torq converters. Wish I still had it.
I used to have a blazer like that with 350 swap. Would pass everything but the gas station.

You can get a carpet set for it they have company's online that may be local to you like Original parts group that has everything oem for your body style blazers or k5 blaser and all kinds of shit literally oem heaven

I had a 86 with the 2.8 v6. We called it old reliable
Whenever any of the other cars in the family would not start or have problems we would just go out to where ever we parked it the yard for months or years and usually it would just start and we daily for a week or two them park it again. We also used it to mud around, that 4 wheel low would crawl some slopes nicely. Miss the dam thing. Really excited for this build!!!

Bro, you should invest in a scrub brush extension for your drill to get those deep stains out of the carpet.

ive got a 84 s15 jimmy 2dr 2wd 2.8 auto absolute shit box but always wanted one ive already changed whole dog house still need rockers and quarter panels but once i took off the 22s and put some beat up 13x7 baby ds i knew it was a forever project even if i got a clean one for dirt cheap this one is not going anywhere lol im stoked on this project even if its not how i would build it i subbed for the s10 project lol
Had the same problem with the tailgate handle not working, had to remove the inner lower panel, remove the handle and fiddle with the latch mechanism to open it. Now i can open both glass and gate sticking my finger in the hole and moving a piece inside.
You sould paint the door cards and interior parts black 😏👌🏽

I love the S-series trucks. I had a 1989 Blazer 4x4 and currently own a 1999 Blazer and a 2000 S10. Great trucks, cheap parts, easy to work on.
I love the Blazer, forget the K series, 350 or LS swap.

Go from the inside of the boot and pull the lever by the cables come off from the inside of the car and pull the lever

Been looking for one of these!!! Im in new England tho so most of them are rotted out! My dad had a 84 2 door 2wd 5 speed one. He took it apart then it sat for years. My mom got sick of looking at it and scrapped it! Sadly i was only 13 at the time and couldn't stop her😂
