I earned my Iron Butt award for going from Dallas, Tx to Las Vegas, NV in 18 hrs on a 2005 Ninja ZX-6R 636! All by myself. No music. No cruise control. Only a tank bag to rest on. I also forgot to inform my bank at the time and my card got shut off somewhere in New Mexico because of the amount of charges and moving across the country so fast.

1600 kms (around 1000 miles) on a Ducati SS in 26 hours in 2018. Absolutely thrilling. Energy drinks are a must lol

Hey Rév! I’m thinking of buying a used Diavel. How’d you feel after 1000 miles on the diavel?

Santa Monica,!! I went to University High school on the corner of Texas & Barrington, what good times!
The best of my life turns out, not ditching with the beach so close was not easy.
I had a white TR6 then I loved that car.
The 2011 Diavel Carbon fiber edition has some Marzochi wheels that are better looking than those !

Awesome vid, just found your channel. If you decide to do it again let me know...I'm happy to ride off camera and pick up anything that falls out of your luggage along the way.

The diavel rider said 'everything hurts' when they stopped for gas after maybe 12? hours riding. At what point did the xdiavel s start causing pain? I want to get one but if its painful maybe I will have to get a goldwing instead. I assume a goldwing wouldn't have any pain after 12 hours.

Depends what mode he was in, I keep mine in sport and I get around maybe 150 miles per fill up and that's having fun on it.

Nice bike but, I just spent over $8,000 + on my 15,000 mile Desmo service! I did the Desmo service which was about $2,200 before parts of about $600+, I added new tires , sprockets, chain and battery during the Desmo service, I was around $4,000 with the Desmo service and new parts mentioned but during the 15k mile Desmo servicing they discovered my wiring harness was broken around the steering head, it was routed so it kinked and after being kinked repeatedly the wires inside started breaking down / apart, they tried to patch it but the previous owner already had that done ant it did not really fix the cause, they said it needed a new harness and it was going to be $3,000 in addition to the $4,000 I owed, I have an extended warranty that paid for the harness and they also found the clutch slave cylinder and the neutral gear sensor was bad so it was going to be around $4,000 being paid by the warranty in addition to the $4,000 I paid!! PLUS they kept the bike for 4 months!
