Wohooo! The final upload from my summerly rental bike adventures! Since I had SO much unexpected fun on the XDiavel S during my RAW video attempt 15 minutes prior to this ride here Mr.Z1000SX thought it would be a good idea to also give this Ducati a chasecam appearance. I'm glad he had that idea. Moving a power cruiser at a spirited pace looks pretty much hilarious from behind ahahaha :D

take the bike on the track if you are going to ride like that...it could all go really wrong quick on the streets...

I know the video is a year old but damn awesome ride! Looking into getting something a little less painful on my old joints and was looking at the Xdiavel. Might have to pull the trigger, you made that bike dance! Keep up the great riding!

the amount of torque the Devils have is insane, therefore on straight it must shoot like a canonball while Kawi needs to get the revs up :)

Nice work, Schaff. You're tossing that thing around pretty well, despite how heavy it must feel compared to the nimble Honda. Still, 485lbs. is light for a 1300cc. Just finding the edges of the rear tire on my new FJ-09. Need more twisties where I live...but the Akra Ti exhaust on the triple sounds nice wherever she goes. At least I haven't gotten a ticket...yet. ;)

That was really a nice Ride.....But really wanted the view from your motorcycle because Mr.Z1000SX is so dope, amazingly fast.....But could see you leading though 😍😍😘😂

I really enjoy that view, it brings something new. I just wish we could have your own audio recording with it (even though the sync would be quite a challenge - but because it's not your video you'd probably be against doing that anyway).
not really difficult but I think it wouldn't work. Having the camera on one bike plus hearing another would probably just feel confusing to the audience!!
I would probably Cruise in that inviroment and admiring the fantastic nature and scenery.

Very cool mate! A mate of mine just bought a Diavel. I am very keen to take it for a spin!
I was supposed to test it on a ride the other week, but due to time, he ended up leaving early. It will happen!
It's always a bit weird following a cruiser, my rhythm through tight corners always gets thrown out.
But the Diavel seems to do better in this regard than most others I have ridden with.

Great ride pity about the end - wish we have roads like that next time I see a X Diavel I will treat it with the respect it deserves ( I ride a Kawasaki ZX14R) bit big for the mountain pass road still wouldn't mind giving it a go.. Great Video

Thanks for making great videos for us. I really admire your riding skills and the places you get to ride so often.
I have seen in your videos that you are trying out all different enduros, because that's the kind of bike you think would be suitable for longer trips.
As you have ridden many different kind of bikes, how would you compare the triumph tiger XC's road capabilities (I seen a video you riding it in the past I haven't really seen you comparing it to other bikes)? I currently ride a 2013 Honda Hornet and I am want to get a bike which is more capabl off road, but I am curious will an adventure bike like the Triump Tiger 800 will be as much fun on the road as my hornet?

That was fucking brilliant fun and Mr ZX1000SX did a brilliant job as the tail end charlie chase cam. The tyre on the back of that Ducati is bigger than most cars have! I have to say the XDiavel S looks cosy to ride almost like a two wheeled armchair. I enjoyed the comedy legs (no offence intended) almost like John Cleese in Monty Pythons "Ministry of silly walks" sketch. As Always Ride (And Speed) Safe.

How was the feel of that big rear tire on the turns? Did you feel an extra effort wad needed to get in and out of the corners due to rear tire size? Thanks for another great video.

Wann warst du denn beim Highbike Testcenter? Wirst du dieses Jahr wieder dahin?Ich plane im September, mit ein paar Vlogs in den Alpen. Ein paar Videos, wie man Pässe richtig fährt etc.
Leider Ende August, daher auch der viele Verkehr. September ist sicher eine bessere, wenn nicht sogar die beste Zeit dafür!! Heuer ist noch nichts geplant!!
Ja, ich war vorletztes Jahr dort, im August, und letztes Jahr im Juni und im August.
Vor allem das Stilfser Joch ist im August die Hölle. Aber der Ofenpass war lustigerweise im Juni mehr überlaufen. Aber durch unseren Hotelwirt (Die Post in Galtür, MOHO Hotel, sehr zu empfehlen) wusste ich einige sehr geile Nebenstrecken/Pässe und konnte dadurch den Hauptverkehr umgehen.
Leider kann ich momentan gar nicht fahren weil ich einen gebrochenen Zeh habe *heul*...
Da du ja so ein Honda Fan bist solltest du dir mal die Rebel 500 angucken. Ich entscheide mich gerade zwischen der Rebel 500 oder der XSR 700 bin so auf deinen Kanal gestoßen. Ich glaube Content zur Rebel 500 suchen viele und ich glaube das Bike würde dir spaß machen :)

Darn, Italian cops got so much more agro this last year. It used to be that as long as you didn´t endanger anybody, they were cool, but now, every little offense and there you go a ticket for you, and when you run for it, they send you some really mean letters (if they do, you might want to consult a lawyer and write them an official reply, worked for me, cos they expect you to just pay).
I didn't say I receive a ticket. I said I received the punishment I deserved ;)

Is there a reason you stopped using the ND filter?
not really in this case it was just because I was using my old Hero3+ which has no 2.7K SuperView mode which is my mode of choice for when using the ND filter!
Is there a noticeable difference vs recording in 1080p and outputting in 1080p vs recording in 2.7k and down-scaling it to 1080p? In your comparison video between the two it's honestly hard to tell the difference between 1080p and 2.7k. Does recording in 2.7k just widen the FOV a bit?
He did not, he's simply not the one recording in this video.
+Sam Eye Ham there isn't but there is a huge difference in quality between uploading a 1080 and a 2.7K file to TH-cam! 2.7K files get a lot less compressed!
Huh. But aren't you technically compressing the 2.7k file when you upload it to 1080p? I would think uploading a 1080p file to 1080p would have minimal compression. Sorry for all the questions. I just picked up a hero 3+ black edition and am trying to figure things out before filming rides.
