👍 I think with the walnut stocks and the heat shield the 590 retrograde is one of the best looking and shooting 12 gauge pump shotguns ever. I have the 18.5 “ barrel model and really like it.
Bass Pro Shop had one in their gun library two days ago in brand new condition for $399.00. I bought it and was out the door with military discount for$411. Beautiful gun.
I know you're disappointed by the OO buck at 40 yards, but I recommend you get some Federal 00 buck with the "Flitecontrol" wads and only those wads. They are like magic and you will likely see an improvement.

I’ve had a 590 for 20 years, police riot gun. Hunt, range day. Never had to use for defense. Just the sight of it scares people. It’s a solid piece. Don’t doubt it.

I have had very limited slug experience. This past year I shot some out of this shotgun, point of impact was very high at 40-50 yards with the bead. I need to practice with them. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thankfully they are aftermarket, maybe factory? options for an extended magazine tube. This particular model came from the factory with the 8 round magazine. Extensions are model specific. I would recommend reading reviews for your particular model to learn what fits and works reliably. Sorry for the vague answer, but hope this helps get you started. Bro I have A590 mossberg was the heavy barrel has the heat chilled and the peep side in the back have not shot it though it's bad-ass and also have a massive 500 with 2 barrels I think it's an 20" barrel in the 28 both barrels voted at big 5 sporting goods it works like a charm bro like a sewing machine the other mouse border haven't shot it but it's in Beautiful wood It's like the one that you have on your video it's great it was used but it's in brand new condition I mean the sticker still on there everything so hope when I go shoot it everything works perfectly but of course I'm going dismiss so everything should be good I can fix anything but I give it a top rating of 5 out of anything else I don't like remingtons I think the remingtons are too damn hard to clean and It has a lot of more issues but I think you have a good shot gun Ziggy
