Mossberg 590 Retrograde and 7 1/2 Birdshot *no talking 1st half*
I had a blast with this video and hope you enjoy it.
Here is a little testing with birdshot out of my Mossberg 590 Retrograde. It was fascinating to see how quickly the birdshot spreads as the range increases and how bad buckshot was at 40 yards. Music was intentionally left out, except for the the intro, and no talking till later (6m57s) in the video. The outdoor sounds and other noises seemed to fit and make these videos unique. My son joined me at the end for a bit of fun at the ponds. Thanks for watching and God Bless!

Ruger LCP vs LCP Max Comparison *No talking*
มุมมอง 27Kปีที่แล้ว
This video is a comparison of the Ruger LCP .380 and the newer LCP Max with a Thanksgiving flair. I had a blast with this video and hope you enjoy it. My old faithful Ruger LCP has been a wonderful companion over the years. Once the new LCP max came out… I had to get one. The capacity, sights, trigger, and grip are much improved over the original. I must say, the original one is slimmer overall...
Palmetto State Armory - Dagger Compact *First Shots* No talking
มุมมอง 35Kปีที่แล้ว
I had a blast with this video and hope you enjoy it. My new Palmetto State Armory (PSA) Dagger compact in Flat Dark Earth (FDE) came in yesterday and I was excited to try it out. The Dagger is a Glock 19 generation 3 clone and is an excellent value. This video shows my first outing and reinforces the need to practice! I intentionally left out music, except for the the intro. I'm not really into pantomime, but that's pretty good shootin'.
Thank you!
Oh my goodness, what an absolutely beautiful piece of land!! 😍 Forget shooting for a moment, let's enjoy that back yard lol
I got an LCP early this year, needed something for really discreet carry. It's been a pleasant surprise. Very accurate (within reason) and over 500 rounds with no malfunctions.
Outstanding! I’m thankful Ruger makes the LCP. This is the perfect use case. I hope it continues to give you good service for years to come! Thanks for the comment and watching!
@@thelaurelthicket5168 I know the Max is supposed to be an upgrade, but there's a reason the original LCP is still around. It's a proven, popular platform.
THE GOAT SHOTGUN 💯🤩
Like the original one. Very slim easy to carry
It really is. Thanks for watching and the comment!
Great video! I love this 'simply see for yourself, and draw your own conclusions' type of video! I was your 380th like as well, which felt pretty cool considering the subject. Everything regarding only the visuals makes the Ruger LCP Max look superior, however in handling both first hand I still went with the LCP1 as my carry choice. The Max sights were snagging on every pocket holster I tried, bringing it out with the gun on a fast draw. Also, I had trouble with inadvertently hitting the proud mag release of the Max while shooting (never happened with the LCP1). The LCP1 just feels like 6 reliable shots, vs 10 maybe shots.
380th like is perfect!! Thanks so much for the feedback, and the like! Those points are valid. You are wise to have chosen the one that fit your needs. Too often the lure of newer/faster/prettier gets the nod instead of what is actually best. The LCP1 it is truly a wonderful pocket carry pistol that almost disappears until you need it. Thank you again.
Welcome to the family 😊
I ' m getting an LCP Max soon. The patina in your original LCP, speaks by itself. Twelve years is a long time. Enjoyed your video very much. Cheers!!!
Thanks for watching and commenting! There is something special about a natural patina. I hope you enjoy your LCP Max!!!
Mann, look how pale/see-through your coffee is!!!... and that's all I got to say about that.
I hope my dagger does well when its done. Saving up my pennies for the last part... it wont operate without a slide...
I’d say it’ll do great!! What color combo are you looking at? I would love to get another slide (green and MOS sight). Thanks for watching and commenting.
That is a great video! I learn so much with no talking. I love the ending.
Thomas, thanks for the comments and watching! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
That gun rack on the ATV is badass !
Thanks for watching and commenting!
I sprayed my funnels with graphite coating. No more static issues. Also, adding the Lee safety prime really speeds up the process of placing the primer without possible skin oil contamination. I like using the auto indexer to rite press as it makes it difficult to double charge since lowering the ram moves the case away from the powder through expander operation after a single powder drop. I use the newer Lee autodrum to accurately drop consistent charges. I have made well over 10k rounds with no ammo issues. For a budget, Lee is a great system.
GREAT tips!!! The new autodrum looks like a good product. Thanks for commenting and watching!
Possible to hit and let Steel Plates fall at 15yrds?
I haven’t tried it, but with some heavy loads such as buckshot or slugs I don’t think it would be any problem. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Watching this video from Ukraine. Really enjoyed it. Nice shotgun. Going to buy the same if we'll win the war. Wooden parts are making this model awesome.

Can you do more videos like this of other low budget firearms?
Thanks for the comment! I’ve slacked lately, but want to do more! Thank you for the encouragement.
Are you using small primers or large primers.
Small pistol primers. The press can do both small or large primers depending on needs/caliber. Thanks for commenting and watching!

Sold me on the LCP Max. My wallet is not going to like you.
Haha! Thanks for watching and commenting!
I freeze the entire packet after buying it. Before i need to make patties, i take it out to thaw. When its semi-defrozed, I slice it up without it getting smashed under the pressure of me holding and cutting. The package often has measuring lines on it for that very purpose.
Great idea!! Thanks for the tip and for watching!
The max looks a little bit more obvious printing Thanks for the video I’ll get a lcp soon
Thank you! The LCP is noticeably slimmer for sure, hope you enjoy yours!
Bass Pro Shop had one in their gun library two days ago in brand new condition for $399.00. I bought it and was out the door with military discount for$411. Beautiful gun.

Thanks so much for the kind comments! I’m very thankful for them all… even the cat. Bless you too!
No gravy? lol Which do you like better?
Ha! Thanks! That’s a tough one. The LCP OG is much nicer for pocket carry due to the slim size and the LCP max packs a lot of features in, while being only slightly bigger. For those reasons I’d likely choose the Max if I could only have one. If thin is the main thing, the OG. If not, the Max in my opinion. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@thelaurelthicket5168 I have the OG 1.5 with slightly shorter trigger pull but put a Hogue Gripall in it to thicken out the hold. Sibce we are in a reatricted state we cannot get tge Max, but I am thinking dimensionally they might be similar. I find that the Hogue grip makes it easier to handle but I love the sights, skide lick back and 10 round capacity of the Max and wish our state would open up on letting us acquire this model. Awesome cinemetography. Poor turkey, lol!

First time gun owner. Went to buy the LCP yesterday and the guy told me it’ll jam up on me. LCP Max can hold more bullets but is it really worth the price difference??
Congratulations on your first firearm purchase! Both of mine have been reliable so far and hopefully whatever you get will be too! Ruger has great customer service if something did arise. The LCP is very small and has a long trigger which I prefer for pocket carry. If that doesn’t matter I would go for the Max. (Note: I have not shot the LCP 2 or know much about it.) I still like the original and will carry it on occasion. It’s just so small! I paid $315ish for the original (they were very popular at the time) and around $350 for the Max. For the price, the extras were worth it for me. There is lots of brand bias in the gun world, but sticking with any of big names should be good bet. Go with whatever you like and fits your needs. Any number of rounds is always better than 0 rounds! Thanks for the comment and watching.
Love this video. :) Thank you!
