**Updated for 1.34** Negative Camber Angle - front 2.5 Ballast +200 @ -50 Power Restrictor 90 Car took a pretty big nerf in 1.31 but it's still viable. Just not as fast as before. Quick note on the performance points. If you're hovering around 818PP, you likely used the "Racing Transmission" which is incorrect. You need to use the "Fully Customizable Manual Transmission" to get the car under the 800 mark. The reason that transmission is used is because it'll allow you to still adjust gear ratios without having to sacrifice power or add weight👍.
Racing tranny does that as well plus car is faster always with racing tranny. Again 1800 downforce is ridiculous car feels heavy and takes forever to get into lead. There is a much better 800 setup keeping full power and is not needed to this course there is only one place you’ll top out and you don’t need 100% power so use that to lower pp so you can reduce the downforce to 1600-1650 and front downforce 950-975. Other changes I had were anti roll 8/7, - camber 2.0/0.0, toe .50/.20, frdf 950 Rdf 1620, ballast 200/-50, power 96, racing tranny 280. Torque 8, acc 40, brake 50. I don’t know why people have brake sensitivity so low when you want to be able to brake and downshift as fast as possible for hairpin turns etc. it doesn’t affect pp at all so IMO higher is always better unless you drive by riding the brake which is just not right at all.

As I mention in the vid and description, tuning is personal and the goal of this car was not to min/max the course. The goal was to provide a 800pp tune (within hours of the update) so people could use it on Sardegna. Appreciate the feedback, but just try not to be rude with your responses.
@@AndrewBlanche @vos also. I understand both of your perspectives however, in both cases you're unintentionally hampering the cars potential. Racing tranny is quicker providing it is set up properly. Since it doesn't effect pp a properly tuned tranny is essentially free pp and can also help with fuel consumption. It also helps with braking distances. Braking sensitivity is not your bb between front and rear, that is your brake bias. Brake sensitivity is to do with the drive train under braking so this car the setting is only for the rear tyres under braking, you'll see there is no adjustment for the front wheels in the lsd settings as it is a rwd car. 4wd or awd cars have settings for the front and rear under the lsd settings. Keeping the power high in this car is also not essential which enables you to run less ballast, both will improve fuel consumption. Less ballast helps compensate and minimise acceleration loss. Both tunes will give you an easy win as Sardegna even on hard is not hard hence why I said both tunes are just hampering the cars potential. I'm running map1 for the whole race so no adjusting and i'm able to release all of its power rather than it having more power on paper but fuel mapping which is lowering your bhp anyway. Short shifting slightly between 11500-11750rpm for the first 8 laps. I only fill to 90-95% and shifting at around 12000rpm for the remainder. The car redlines at 12500rpm so i'm near enough flat out on map 1 the whole race. Best total at present is 24.12 and numerous laps in the 33's per run with zero wind assist the whole race. It will do under 24.10 and should yield a sub 24.05 under the right run
Thanks for this build have been grinding credits with it. The car is so good did the 24 hours of SPA, which had rains and night, only had the racing line to guide me as there are no headlights on a F1 Car, still finished 1st. Epic driving with no lights.
hhahahaha I tested the spa race with this car when I first started it but had to drive in the night without any markers or racing line. Now that you say it I can see those assists help there ;) still was way too easy
For those here for the credits grind, you can use other vehicles and you can only win up to 1.5 mil per race if you get the clean race bonus. I used the V6 Escudo Pikes Peak Special ‘98 and lapped the guy in 2nd place.

Can finish Sardagne in under 25 min and 20 sec. Very enjoyable to drive and a easy win. Fuel Mix on 3 with a 2 stop strategy, stopping at lap 5 and lap 10. I have a 700 Escudo for Le Mans and a 600 Escudo for Tokyo as well. Yeah, I love this car.

You should try the Escudo on Sardegna! You can do a 1.36 on average on fuel mix 3. 2 Stop strategy, on lap 5 and 10, something like 25 min and 20 sec a race.
Keep seeing people saying set fuel mapping. I adjust on the fly depending where on a course I can save fuel by coasting after hitting top speed and coming to crest of a hill. The whole point of using car like this is to have the car reach its top speed hell-a-quick so setting msp to 4 handicaps that. Even tho I’ll put twice bet my time is lower than the one stop times and I finish almost a minute ahead of field lapping half of it. I’m in first by end of second third lap and don’t leave it even thru pits.
Tried this setup and ended at around 817 as well. I used manual transimison (not racing) and adjusted as shown, hard tires, modified both downforce fields, modified body height as seen, 193 ballast and -1 position… 817.28
@@Voss44 do you use the sticks or motion steering? If you haven't tried motion steering. Turn on the countersteering and give it a go. Before I got my t300 I fell in love with motion steering. Cockpit view and just lay the controller flat out like normal and tilt it like a pancake. You'll never go back.
@@Voss44 if you can get an area to sort of rest your arms either computer chair armrest or your lap on a regular chair. I've seen people map shift up to L1 and Shift down to R1 which is reverse of the brake and gas respectively. I use shift up as triangle and down as square because it allows my thumb to not move as far down. It will take a few laps to start to get used to it but man once you do. So underrated with this game. The dualsense accuracy of the gyro is better than anything I've tried and it really is way more immersive and the next best thing to a wheel and you already own it. Sometimes I don't feel like bringing out the wheel so I just use motion steering.

Pit 2-3 times with the RedBull X2019??? How do you do that? I run this race every night to grind for credits in this car and I do it all on fuel map 6 and pit only once. Fastest time is 25:23 with this method. Fastest laps are low 1:38's on fuel map 6. Fastest lap on fuel map 1 was low 1:36 but can only get 1 lap like that before having to pit again, so it's not worth it.
@@TommyD1021 I use fuel map 1 for the first 2-3 laps to catch up to the leaders then I use fuel map 6 until I run out of fuel, after my first pit I use fuel map 6 until my tires are dead, after I pit for new tires and fuel up I use fuel map 1 to finish off the race, my fastest time is a 25:04 and I have lapped a 1:35.4 with fuel map 1 and I can lap low 1:37’s on fuel map 6

can still get a 800pp tunes without messing with the gear, just move the weight balance to the front and you will be well under 800, not as good as other car but still usable.
Definitely a must have car, but i missed the oportunity to buy it. But I use the Peugeot RCZ Gr.3, I get 750K in 27 minutes and the car was free, just some upgrades
I still prefer red bull method on le mans. No pit stop required at all. Just put hard tyres, fuel map 2-3, manual gearbox mapped for top speed 300 and that's all. This car is legendary but so is the price too, but anyways it's a nice addition to the pre existing methods. 👍
How about doing both in turns while swapping cars each time? For Le Mans I try new builds all the time. That way I can enjoy the cars I love and it doesn't feel like a grind as much.
@@crookdfinga i do use different builds, like GTR, Porsche etc. Basically every road every car that I tune, i test it on le mans. But out of all, I found red bull method to be the simplest. Evey other car i used, i had to put in to change tyres. With red bull, no pit stop.
@@OrangeSunshine15 Redbull Junior requires no pit stop bu then it gets boring so I do the same, its amazing the nr of cars you can use there. PS: Nissan Fairlady (08) with GTR Engine does not require pit stop there if you play it smart.
Suspensions seem tighter. But I'll have to get more time with it before I can determine if it's good or bad. I noticed cars seem to have a little bit more understeer is all.

I had brz sliding yesterday, never happened before. Did some changes to controller settings like force feedback & torque, doing fine now. Tyres seem to deteriorate much quickly but it's only visually, it doesn't seem to affect the car handling.
Is there any way to use Racing gearbox instead of Manual one? The car slow down too slow(Engine braking lover) and accerlerate slow on straight when side by side, thank you
If I had to guess, you possibly put on the "Racing" Transmission. Change that to the "Fully Customizable Manual" Transmission and your performance will drop to just below 800.
Its not 2 mill credits per hour though is it Voss...I only got ps5 2 weeks ago and love money earning methods and this McLaren tune is great (Bought the McLaren 2 mins after it went live. I tested it) but its nowhere near 2 mill per hour. It is however the best money grind for those that want a return on their 8 million.
Matthew is right- 485x1.5x60/25 = 1746. To get $2m/hr you need to be running a sub 22 min race, which I haven’t seen anybody do yet. My best is around the 24:40 mark with the Mazda 787B.
You’re not wrong on the weight, but I personally prefer have the ability to tune gear ratios to be in the ideal power band for the bulk of the course. Tunes are all personal preference though! If you’d rather not adjust gearing I’m sure the stock transmission works just fine for this course.
@@Voss44 i will drive the 1st 8 or 9laps on fuel map 6 , then the 2nd stint on map 1 , i find the stock gears work find & add the p.p to h.p , equally as fun as the mazda 787 around here , both are a dream to drive with wheel & pedals
@@Voss44 hey bro i used the negative camber angle and the toe angle from the honda F1 super and you set up and it turns in soooo much better. The negative camber angle is at 2.5 front n back is 1.0 the toe is 10 front n back is 20. Tell me what u think
This garbage you can’t have a tune with full downforce you just throw fuel and tire conservation out the window lol. Get the racing tranny you get downforce to proper level front downforce can stay low but open wheel cars need it to turn proper and car should have oversteer on your turn for tightest possible hairpin turns. How you do that? Figure it out.
Think you missed the point of the tune bud... These is no way you'll get that car under 800PP with proper downforce and a racing transmission. Goal here was to get a functional car at the 800PP level by de-tuning.
I did. As said on that or even the one hour race course you do not need full power output there is only one spot you will be wide open throttle and you can reduce output lessen the ballast and the downforce and have a faster car at 800pp. Here is a trick. After you think you’ve got a tune done turn on braking assist visuals if you don’t have optimal setup in that course the first turn will show you should be dropping to first gear. With my suspension and downforce and power setting I can get warning to drop to 3 on new tires 2nd gear after a lap on them. Meaning I’m maintaining higher speed and rpm levels thru turn and will accelerate out faster and not have to worry about the one pit race and I’ll just run field down our lap them and extend gap pit and come out in front still. One pit for gas the second for tires and a top up.

I've ran a 24.15 and a 1.33.8 best lap in this car. Map 1 all the way. Runs on my channel if anyone thinks its BS

Nope, it'll put you over the limit. You have to detune this car to use it on Sardegna
Technically you could lower the power output and add more weight. I think using the manual transmission is a better option.

If I had to guess, you possibly put on the "Racing" Transmission. Change that to the "Fully Customizable Manual" Transmission and your performance will drop to just below 800.

Its not 2 mill credits per hour though is it Voss...I only got ps5 2 weeks ago and love money earning methods and this McLaren tune is great (Bought the McLaren 2 mins after it went live. I tested it) but its nowhere near 2 mill per hour. It is however the best money grind for those that want a return on their 8 million.
It's a 25 min race. Which works out to 1.98 million per hour. Guess I owe ya 20k per hour... 💰

Matthew is right- 485x1.5x60/25 = 1746. To get $2m/hr you need to be running a sub 22 min race, which I haven’t seen anybody do yet. My best is around the 24:40 mark with the Mazda 787B.

putting weight on makes it a worse race car , wasting pp on gearing is not needed ,use 5th down the straights, 6th as a overdrive to save fuel
You’re not wrong on the weight, but I personally prefer have the ability to tune gear ratios to be in the ideal power band for the bulk of the course.
Tunes are all personal preference though! If you’d rather not adjust gearing I’m sure the stock transmission works just fine for this course.
@@Voss44 i will drive the 1st 8 or 9laps on fuel map 6 , then the 2nd stint on map 1 , i find the stock gears work find & add the p.p to h.p , equally as fun as the mazda 787 around here , both are a dream to drive with wheel & pedals

@@Voss44 hey bro i used the negative camber angle and the toe angle from the honda F1 super and you set up and it turns in soooo much better. The negative camber angle is at 2.5 front n back is 1.0 the toe is 10 front n back is 20. Tell me what u think

Wasn't meant to be clickbait at all. You can run a sub 25min Sardegna with this tune. Guess that puts it more on the 1.9M range.
This garbage you can’t have a tune with full downforce you just throw fuel and tire conservation out the window lol. Get the racing tranny you get downforce to proper level front downforce can stay low but open wheel cars need it to turn proper and car should have oversteer on your turn for tightest possible hairpin turns. How you do that? Figure it out.
Think you missed the point of the tune bud... These is no way you'll get that car under 800PP with proper downforce and a racing transmission. Goal here was to get a functional car at the 800PP level by de-tuning.
I did. As said on that or even the one hour race course you do not need full power output there is only one spot you will be wide open throttle and you can reduce output lessen the ballast and the downforce and have a faster car at 800pp. Here is a trick. After you think you’ve got a tune done turn on braking assist visuals if you don’t have optimal setup in that course the first turn will show you should be dropping to first gear. With my suspension and downforce and power setting I can get warning to drop to 3 on new tires 2nd gear after a lap on them. Meaning I’m maintaining higher speed and rpm levels thru turn and will accelerate out faster and not have to worry about the one pit race and I’ll just run field down our lap them and extend gap pit and come out in front still. One pit for gas the second for tires and a top up.
They've nerfed it since then, now that setup is 831.41 PP 😂😭
