The racing look good, AC is great as a sim but always lacked 'gameplay' options to make it more enjoyable for casuals like myself. More interesting SP career mode, easier MP matchmaking and private servers.
the game looks nice for what it is at this point. I find it weird to hear that you don't know if you have ABS or TC. The Porsche cup had ABS and the other cars had TC as well. Not being able to feel that raises a bit of a problem in my opinion.
The first racing game I've been excited about in a long time, even though I'm on a console, and they, like Bethesda, let the community fix their games.
Obviously this build is not going to be fully optimised but I suspect this is going to be pretty hard to run at high settings on triples or in VR. So the real question for me is how good this is going to look without ray tracing. It's important to set realistic expectations. In this demo they chose to run with only nine AI cars and even then they had to set the mirror rendering distance pretty low. Again, it's not a final build but it has me worried that there are going to be performance issues for a lot of people.
Steering Lock angle is not properly set. You can see the difference between real and virtual steering wheel. This changes the driving feeling significantly.
Lightning and shadows are pretty much excellent if not using ray tracing technologies. If they can make wheel settings individually for each car, that will be great.
As much as I liked adding mods to AC, it will be awesome to not need to rely on 3rd party modding to get features like realistic lighting, rain, etc. I hope the content manager from AC is included and improved. Sometimes I forget that content manager itself is a mod 😅
Must be hard to feel how the game are when you don't use your own gear. Do you still have to change steering rotation for each class or do the cars come with a pre adjusted steering rotation (like a regular road car 270° and like a gt cup car 110° for example)?

Jesus Christ this is gonna look sick in VR!!!! Please come fast!!! The wait is a torture!!!!
Clean, concise. Fantastic work.
IRacing rain is the best ATM .. so if it’s anything like that, then this game will be my #1
That rain looks amazing.
So, Assetto Corsa EVO will not be GT3 only, did I understand it right? That's so cool! GT3 are my favorite cars in racing games, but I really like a game that offers good variety and, definitely, some road cars. I hope it comes with a nice career mode. Looking superb already!
Just got a DD wheel, so I'll be itching to play this when it launches
Lightning and shadows are pretty much excellent if not using ray tracing technologies. If they can make wheel settings individually for each car, that will be great.
As much as I liked adding mods to AC, it will be awesome to not need to rely on 3rd party modding to get features like realistic lighting, rain, etc. I hope the content manager from AC is included and improved. Sometimes I forget that content manager itself is a mod 😅
Why you didnt compare it with AC1?
Must be hard to feel how the game are when you don't use your own gear. Do you still have to change steering rotation for each class or do the cars come with a pre adjusted steering rotation (like a regular road car 270° and like a gt cup car 110° for example)?
Wow, this looks incredible!
I’m actually excited for this! Hopefully it ends up with good VR support….. and then with some motion…👌🏼
Hope that Kunos this time correctly relates tyre grip to an optimal temperature window and not falsely to a tyre pressure window...
Great video! What steering wheel is that?
That windshield rain is the best i've seen since Driveclub & a definite improvement on Competizione.
Pre alpha but is already polished on the way to final release. I am so excited...
The trees look amazing also the rain on the windshield very impressive
Loads of really interesting points raised and topics covered. Quality video 👍🏼
So excited for this, thanks for showing us your time in the pit - cheers!
I think the biggest problem with acc is the suspension and the rain. Ac evo looks like it resolved both of these issues, so, insta buy for me
The cup car shows the suspension changes clearly. The suspension settles much nicer from bumps compared to the car in ACC.
What's wrong with the ACC suspension?
@@liviu543 it reacts very poorly to bumps in the track and sausage kerbs, try going with the porsche cup to nords you will find yourself bouncing all over the place (btw, salut si eu sunt roman :)) )
Gt7 or asetto evo?
Also I like the subtle movement of wiper on the windscreen.
The wet weather looks fantastic parts of the track still wet and other parts dry
Hope drifting would be as good as in 1st AC
Im sure the devs are more than aware of the popularity of drifting in ac1. I wouldnt be worried
@@spiralattack devs from battlefield were also aware that we liked bf3/4 time period and gameplay and they didn’t live up to expectations 😅
But this devs are far more better than dice, but still little bit worried, maybe they will over do it. Hope no
AC EVO is gonna be massive
i really hope they will add head motion because its looks like robot is driving... you looking into the corner not straight ahead all the time so it will make game better as first assetto was much better with head motion mod.
This is what forzamotorsports should have looked from the beginning.
AC EVO looks beautiful 😍
The wiper detail was actually in ACC also. Either way, if this is the alpha... we're looking GOOD.
@@daftplays5199 it moves around in ACC, but I don't think it has anything to do with G forces on the car. Just a generic fluttering in the wind.
@@nickel36 it swings according to the G of the car. Swings left when we’re turning right and vice versa. It’s according to G.
Did anyone realise the ai on the rear view mirror popping on and off the screen?
I wonder about AI behaviour. How is it playing against AC Evo AI?
I’ve seen real porsche gt3 cup headcam videos and they dont steer that much/rough. Is force feedback settings waay over the top here?
It would be nice if we had the choice between LHD and RHD, as LHD looks weird to me on a road car.
It wouldn't be too hard to mirror the screen, and would create something that's more immersive for RHD countries.
"I don't see any issues" The car disappears in the rearview mirror lol 😂😂😂 2:18
Missed that😂
wow! game is looking good! hope it's good at launch
Whats the best sim wheel brand?
is EVO build on a totally new engine and stuff? or is it a ACC rehash
Totally new in-house engine
Completely new engine
@@regular5571 Thankfully cause Unreal Engine is godawful for racing games...
The only thing that bothered me a little bit was the lack of water spray in the wet portion like here 9:44.
What Fanatec wheel is that your using
Clubsport wheel rim gt3 endurance limited edition
I realy like the sound/sound effects
