@@DroiX_Storedoes the gpd win max 2 2023 support free synch. The gpd win 4 had stuttering issues reported bc of the lack of support. Worried the same issue will be on the max 2. Does it also support freesync when attached to an eternal mointor. Was there any stuttering issues?

Yeah a bit of a delay. We have new staff joining the team and some other important work to be done so we were a little delayed for the review. But new staff means we can get more content out now so it is great!
I’ve waited on this model for months just bc of the oculink port. I hope it’s worth it. Could have bought the 6800u version but it doesn’t have that port
The G1 dock could be a game changer for these handhelds. Its an easy way to get connected and we are expecting great things. We hope to get our hands on the G1 soon and do a full review!
Yeah providing the power bank has enough capacity and power output it is definitely possible.I've added it to the list for something we might look into further in a future video. Thanks.
Old post but I thought I'd reply just in case anyone else sees this vid and asks themselves the same question (I did)! Yes, you can run any of the GPD handhelds from a power bank. However it needs to be a Power Delivery 3.0 bank with an output of 40W or above to be able to keep up with the WinMax2's hunger. Ideally power banks with an output of 65-100W would be best as they can keep the battery topped up even on the most demanding games. A 25000mAh battery will almost double the running time. WARNING: If you put in a power bank that doesn't output fast enough, then the Win Max 2 will try to charge the power bank, rather than the other way around!
Ahhh been waiting for this. Will droix be packaging the wm2 2023 with g1 once it launches? Also when preordering i dont see an lte option. Will there be an option to order lte module with it like the 2022 wm2? Finally. With 780m being an igpu and relying on system memory for vram, any noticeable benefits to 64 vs 32 gb ram for gaming? Thanks! Look forward to purchasing it.
No noticeable benefits with the higher ram in gaming. 32gb is even overkill unkess you will be doing ram intensive tasks like video editing. Ram speed is what is important
We do not have anything confirmed with regards to a bundle but we hope to do so. The G1 pre-orders will be available soon, we are just waiting on final pricing, release date etc. Regarding the LTE module, we are looking into it at the moment, it means adding three extra SKU to the product page for it to be preinstalled. We have not tried the 32GB RAM option yet, only 64GB so we cant confirm any differences. I think you would see differences between 16GB and 32GB due to VRAM usage, but for 32GB vs 64GB you probably wont see much difference unless you have a lot of apps open etc.
Do i really need the 32gb version if i dont mind running games at least on the same way i play them on the steam deck? Im looking to get one as a travel replacement only not for a main work station
Keep in mind the RAM is also shared with the GPU so it will take up to 4GB. On a 16GB you will have 12GB then take away Windows and any other software you are running. 16GB is fine for most cases, but 32GB makes things a bit easier.
Im thinking of selling my rtx3060 11geni7 laptop for this. I think graphics are good enough with this but MUCH more portable and comfortable to use. also will this support nvidia egpu?
