Being debt free is a better lifestyle choice. For some, like myself, it took 10 years of paying off student loans, driving beaters, and renting an apartment. I bought a 2020 Gladiator Rubicon in November 2019. Paid it off in 13 months. I have held off putting upgrades on it except the tonneau cover, heated wiper blades, and the 4 aux switch. Once I save money for a lift and 37 or 38 tires, I’ll upgrade, but not on credit.
I bought a 2013 JKU cash money and have been saving up to buy my upgrades one at a time without putting it all on a card or getting a loan. It's slow going but I'm not broke or stressed about a $800 car payment
Everyone’s different! I ended not like the JT over the JL. I’m also a full-size diesel truck guy. So it wasn’t really tickling my fancy with diesel trucks 😅
As much as people love 6.2 and 6.4 hemis, be pretty cool to see a modest 5.7 395hp hemi. Not down a ton of power but lighter and likely more economical. Just my $.02.
Probably would be great if the jeep stayed off 60’s and 40+ tires. If you want lite brites video they talk about the 392 not being quite enough with a fully built rig. That’s why they went to the stroked out 392. I feel I wouldn’t be happy with the 5.7. But I’m also a hp nut lol 😝
I follow your vids, so I genuinely understand why you sold it, mine so far hasn’t had any problems, but that doesn’t mean that they’re “all good” rides. Looking forward to seeing what ends up changing on this rubi though. :)
I tend to agree with going used over buying brand new but some of the wranglers I see used are within $5,000-$10,000 of a brand new one and I’m personally willing to just pay that for brand new…the gap isn’t big enough for me. I know that’s not pocket change but if the difference was bigger I would definitely go used
Agreed. I’ve been looking heavily and I am noticing the same thing. And as near end of year approaches I’m already seeing Rubicon’s starting to drop in price making a new one even closer in price to a used one. I’d rather go new just for the piece of mind knowing I’m the only one who’s been driving it. You don’t really know what’s been done to the vehicle buying it used.
I don't want someone else's problems. I ordered a new '23 Sahara Altitude Diesel and got 10% off MSRP. It put the price under 50k. And it will be one of a handful of 23 Altitudes because Jeep took them off the ordering form.
I did the same i got rid of my 03 gmc 2500hd 6.0 for a 01 jeep grand cherokee 4.0 with a 4inch long arm lift on it with 33s that I'm going to build into a weekend warrior 💪
Love the video content i hv a 2 door 2015 sahara in sunburst orange with mild lift plan on getting to whr i want to overland Also from michigan go green

100%! We plan to be debt free all but our house by the end of 2023. It opens up a lot of doors down the road.
@@MaxOverland Yep, and your daily stress level goes down as well.

I would have kept a Gladiator

I’m devastated that you sold your eco diesel, but that’s a gorgeous Rubicon. I’m obsessed with hoods like those. Nice ride!
I sold the eco-diesel for many reasons. I’m not sad that I won’t be in the shop once a month though lol

Absolutely. Got 22 Silverado. Beautiful truck. Not a Jeep. Miss my jku. Jt coming

Hey Sir! We sincerely look for a collaboration with you! Are you interested in trying our Wrangler custom seat covers?
Beautiful JL! I love the firecracker red!

i traded my 23 gladiator for a 18 wrangler 2 door rubicon and love it
I don’t have any regrets! I’ve had my 18 jlur for a year and never been in the shop once. My diesel was in the shop 8 times in a year.
One of my favorite color combos.

Trucks are definitely not like jeeps lol
Thats so true man
Yay!! #JeepLife Glad to see ya back! Your videos were one of the firsts that made me “need” a jeep! Welcome back to the dark side 😍

Great move..... keep the content coming
That’s the plan! I was so uninspired when I bought that boring Silverado 😂
What did you pay with taxes and license
Would you get the diesel again?
No I do not plan to get another diesel Jeep. I do plan to have a full-size diesel overland build. But my Jeeps will get V8’s.
I have one just like that. I have 41k I love this sucker
Traitor how dare you sell the ecodiesel 🤣
😝 once I V8 swap I will have absolutely no regrets lol 😂
@@MaxOverland well be watching you making that v8 happen brother.
So stoked for that day. Going to be a little bit. I’ll definitely make sure it happens!
I appreciate the support!
