- Court has adjourned for the day in the bail hearing of Bafana Mahungela who is accused of murdering Kirsten Kluyts. It's now confirmed that Kluyts had been pregnant at the time of her murder.

limited. they are awaiting dna results. this could take many months (it's not like in the movies where it happens the same day) and also SA has a massive backlog. it's a government run thing, so like everything else (think home affairs) it is not working properly.

Murderers often do. Well certain ones like serial murderers are likely to tell people as opposed in fact to saying something. So they are most likely in the sense of both more then other kinds of murderers but also in terms of actual performance, they WILL in fact tell someone, not they are more likely. That is how they are oft caught given you're serial, talking is how they catch you, not evidence or floppy criminality. Serial killers hide well in SA given lacking resources especially because SA is the worst country to be a woman and so surely serial killers do hide well because multiple women are murdered PER DAY in SA but the amount to perpetrator arrested are not even on par. How do we because the rape and femicide capital of the world? Lack of knowledge of rape and rapists as well as criminal behaviour brought us here, patriarchy aside.
