Bafana Mahungela: I don't want to go to jail

- Murder accused Bafana Mahungela told the Randburg Magistrate's Court
that he doesn't want to go to jail.
The 21-year-old student was arrested for the murder of Johannesburg
English teacher Kirsten Kluyts in late October.
The body of the 34-year-old was found in Sandton after she went
missing following a community running event.
Mahungela is asking to be released on bail, but the State is opposed
to his request.

What's the first thing you would do if you saw an unresponsive body? you call others, call the cops, ambulance or something but he thought otherwise, he went to touch it, undress it and wear the t-shirt. this is madness

Undressed the body of the clothes because he did not want to be implicated.
Stupid move but one can assume it was motivated by panic, and also the weak law in our country that would simply implicate the nearest person without looking into everything. Which is the case currently.
While all this don't mean he is innocent, neither does it mean he is guilty. So the state must look further, and also check what they could've missed that can help their case, instead of prematurely concluding on the basis of the clothes and whereabouts of the boy.

He did not realise he could actually be caught and face justice. If he was a decent person, he would have called the Police and not walk away with trophies.
We don’t behave the same hhey to these things. It’s easy to say I would do x,y,z when faced with certain things until you’re faced with that and your brain gets stuck and you do weird things.

I Really wish there was good lawyers on this case, because i want to understand his motives. He's grinning doesn't make things easier. It probably a defense mechanism but it looks stupid and guilty. I honestly don't understand all the actions he took. Its not the actions of an innocent persons.
This is difficult to analyze. I'm sitting on the fence with this case 50/50...But what seems to be a grin on his face is just his natural facial expression.

What is the cause of death???? If it is strangulation on the neck, then the victim could have scratched the killer? Did they check for any DNA 🧬 in her nails? Did they look for any marks on the suspect’s arms and hands , or any signs of struggle
I think it was blunt force trauma to the head, which makes it even more difficult since she likely couldn’t have fought the killer off
