- A set of Fender Air Vent LED Lights is an excellent way to update the exterior styling of your Jeep. These Side Marker Lights feature dual LED strips that not only look fantastic, but will also increase your visibility day or night.
These Fender Air Vent LED Lights are designed to be a direct fit replacement for your fender mounted factory air vents. It should be noted that the LED accent lights will require splicing into your Jeeps running lights for operation. terrain.jp/2QLK6tQ

Halfway into the video so far and she has said at least 4 times "if you aren't concerned about heat dispersion" lol. She just made me concerned.
For those worried about her saying something about heat dissipation, I pulled mine off there is such little venting in there that if your jeep is overheating those vents aren't saving it
It is to my understanding after watching an interview with the person design the JL Wrangler stated that the vent is in place to prevent the hood from fluttering in result from pressure build up under the hood. It wasn't for additional heat dissipation.
Can you do a review and instal sometime on the Barricade Dark Star Aluminum Grille with 20-Inch LED Light Bar?

Supposedly the vents were originally intended to reduced hood flutter. Would adding these light cause it to be an issue again? Asking with buying a 392 in mind with a top speed of 110. But heard they modified the hood latches to correct the hood flutter. Was just curious thanks if you have any input.
Could this be used with the Sidetrack Fender LED Lighting System as well?
What size are the wires that come with it?
What size t-tap connector?& for what size wire
What are the wire connectors that get put in the Jeep wire harness called and where can I purchase some?
Thanks
Soooo, why not make these with clips so they’ll actually stay in place better, some venting in place of all the solid plastic areas, and last maybe a 3rd wire to allow these to also blink so you can have a side blinker?
Should be able to add a relay to do exactly that. Side marker on when headlights are on, blinker on with turn signal. Bonus would be that it could do the same for the current side marker too.
Probably because these are made in China
Rim and tire setup? Nice set up

Where is the turn signal harness on the other side? On the gladiators the airbox and battery seem to be in the way? Do I have to remove them?
You should be able to access the harness from underneath by removing the inner fender liner. Hope this helps!
Would it be possible to wire those things to your turn signals instead of the running lights?
You could! -Zach
Amazon is selling for $30.
What wire did you connect the red with on the Jeep? Black wire to what color?
The red goes to the white wire with the black trace for the running light. The black wire you can put to black or to one of the grounds on the side of the engine bay! Hope this helps!
I got these 36$ Amazon💀 but they are cool
Is there a list of what parts she used, like name of wire connectors, size wire?
I used 18 gauge wire and 18-22 gauge red butt connectors. Hope this is helpful! - Merideth
So, she doesn't explain how you run wires from passenger side and how those connect into the harness. Do you splice into the other lights wires that are connected to the harness?
the passenger side is the one I want to see... how did they access the fender wire s on that side?
Is this set applicable to the Jeep JT?
Yes it is! -Zach
They really seem to downplay the heat dispersion function of the factory side vents. I’m skeptical jeep would put them there as actual vents instead of a solid decoration if they didn’t have some cooling utility.
Not to mention, although LEDs are pretty tough, are they gonna handle becoming a bit of a heat sink
A set arriving today that I will not be installing now. I thought the vent was cosmetic......Look at the hood on a Gladiator Mojave. Mean looking but a total fake. Good or bad, Jeep is not what it used to be. They seem to put a lot more energy into cosmetics then they used to.
Oracle's version is what maybe 50 bucks more and have a lifetime warranty? Think I'd go with oracle
Over priced. Amazon. 30 bucks and works really well
Now you just spliced into the wire Harness any electrical problems jeep will put the blame on this and void any electrical warranty
Thats why I put mine in the auxiliary switch
Really bad instructions. No explanation on how to wire power and ground.
wire taps noooooo lol throw those away
Those vents are not for heat dispersion 🤦♂️ They’re for decompression in the engine cavity. Don’t install these stupid lights.
Edited spelling.
