    This may be a stupid question but would those count as front blinkers? I just bought fenders that don’t have turn signals and was wondering if this could be a good fix. Please let me know. And if they don’t do you have any suggestions?

    • @evolvedjeepin
      @evolvedjeepin  ปีที่แล้ว

      I definitely don't think these can be considered front blinkers because they are behind the fenders and you can't see them from the front.

    I recently purchased these lights. The top side of the vent is not snugging up to the vehicle like I would like it to, leaving a small gap between the light and jeep that you can feel when you push on the vent. I would like this tighter to the jeep as I think water might potentially get down in there. I think this might be caused by the 3M strip on the bottom of the vent. Did you experience this problem? I am wondering if I put a small piece 3M tape near the top it would fix the issue.

    • @evolvedjeepin

      There was a bit of a gap but nothing that I was concerned about.

      @@evolvedjeepin Thanks for the comment back. I am mentally over the vent gap but the lights do seem to have a bit of a flicker to them. I have the 12V power wire ran to an accessory post on the fuse panel. Have you experienced this? Would a resistor help with this issue you think?

    • @evolvedjeepin
      @evolvedjeepin  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@user-ov6vo8hn9n I don't have a flicker, sometime at night my turn signal will hyper flash. I think it is a power draw issue, its not really a big issue so I haven't really gotten around to figuring out a solution for that. But I don't have a flicker.

    I just installed my lights this weekend. I did not connect everything to the battery itself as I plan on putting all my lights on aux switches. So currently they are just tied into the wiring harness for my turn signal. However, my turn signal looks more like a strobe light. Any idea if I can change this and how? Thanks. I currently have other things tied directly to my battery which is why I haven't hooked these up to Bluetooth yet. Thanks

    • @evolvedjeepin
      @evolvedjeepin  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually sometime my lights turn into strobe lights, it doesn't happen all the time and unfortunately I haven't figured out why. I assume it might be something to do with one of the connections but I haven't had a chance to investigate.

    I've been considering getting these, however there is one thing that keeps me from it and is my question to you.
    With blocking off the vent ports with this solid fixture; Does this create hood turbulence or "flutter" at higher speeds?
    The engineer who designed the JL mentioned this as the purpose for the vents. Please let me know, great video. Thanks for showing all the functions!

    Do the amber turn lights run independent of the colored led? Could you power the side led's from your aux button, and have the Amber lights still function with your turn signals?

    • @evolvedjeepin
      @evolvedjeepin  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    My factory wiring was different on the driver side. What colors did you tap into for the Red, and Blue wires from the light assembly?

    • @evolvedjeepin
      @evolvedjeepin  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I tapped into red, yellow and black and mine were the same on both sides. In the instructions they did say that each vehicle can vary. When I did mine I actually had to figure it out by trial and error because the instructions were different colors. What I figured out was that there are two grounds on the wiring harness so you want to use the three wires on the side where the ground is the third one in. So color, color ,ground.
