  • Ensure a safer driving experience by installing the Morimoto GEN2 XB LED Smoked Turn Signals on your JL. Aside from giving your Jeep a more aggressive exterior, the bright LEDs will ensure your vehicle’s visibility, especially when preparing to change directions.
High-Strength Construction. These LED Turn Signals are sealed for all-weather protection. The housings are made of durable black ABS with smoked polycarbonate lenses for long-lasting functionality. This combination also enhances your JL’s visual appeal. Moreover, these lights are designed for an OEM-fit with plug-and-play harnesses for a hassle-free installation.
Plug-and-Play Installation. Each of the LED Turn Signal connects to your factory wiring and bolts directly to the factory mounting locations of your Jeep. The installation process completes with light mechanical and electrical skills required. terrain.jp/3kK...

Is there a reason it will not work for the Sport?

When I bought my JT it was my first jeep and everyone would say you can always "upgrade to " later on. So I bought the Sports S. No LED so I went with led bulbs. I ended up removing all the bulbs and getting the housings. In hindsight I think getting it from factory would have been easier and maybe cheaper but I would not have learnt anything about my Gladiator. These types of videos have taught me so much.

If your wanting to/have the money/time to sport s is the best jeep to go with other then maybe a 392 no 392 with another package i can't afford anyways is definitely better but you got that kinda cash i wouldn't hardly believe you get the sport & truck hell plant red eye swap yet 🤔 again $$$$

I would recommend removing the grill and using a set of needle nose pliers to squeeze the back of the white clip that holds your fender on as you pull, and do the same with a couple of the other clips by reaching under your fender into the channel the clips snap into. If you just pull hard on the fender it's likely you're going to break them off and the fender will never sit right again unless you buy new ones.

So thanks for this tutorial. I was able to do this all by myself with your instructions #girlpower.
    However! A few notes…
    1. Have spare Christmas trees because several of my heads just peeled off
    2. More description on the wire run…I’m new and have never seen the small slide bar they’re attached too. I hope using zip ties to those is efficient
    3. I broke the mounts on my fenders. They definitely just don’t gently pop off with a little wiggle. One side now has a slightly bigger gap because I didn’t have time or know how to replace the clips. Learning from one side to the next, I only broke one - in half- and I think I stabilized it. I see previous comments talk about the grill being removed to do this properly.
I’m sure I put some wrong bolts in some places but at least they work and I’m proud to have done this myself

Great tutorial. I bought the leds from extreme terrain. Instead of using zip ties, I removed the Christmas tree clips from the oem harness and used them to mount the new harness to the fender. It took about 5 minutes on each side but I wanted a factory style insta for a wiring harness no one will see

doesn’t look like you have to mess with the white push in clips that hold the black fender to the sheet metal?

Why not for the sport s?

It’s a good upgrade only if you have halogen lights, the oem led lights are perfect

It's ALL difficult to see! A simple work light hung at the back of the wheel well would have worked much better but thanks for the effort anyhow.

That's pretty nice. Nice upgrade if you didn't purchase the LED factory lights.

Great tutorial. However, should the resistor be up against any other wires? I was told those babies get pretty hot.

Would these work on a Sahara without LEDs?

    • @GavNguyen
      @GavNguyen 2 ปีที่แล้ว

Yes the plug is located upper right corner of the fender. Just run the LED wire along the fender from the front to the back and plug it in the factory female plug and your good to go.
