I'm seriously considering the 2SS-1LE... Amazing cars outa the box,a few bolt -ons then hang on baby you got yourself a unit...

A few months down the road and I love this car even more.
I’m getting my car back from the body shop in a week and I have plans for full bolt ons and 150 shot. This car is an absolute machine.

Mine is a 17' SS 6 spd. with Mag Ride. My Daily Driver for the past 5 years. I highly recommend this as a DD. I wouldn't want to be driving anything else. I have heard the 1LE's ride harder than the SS.

The 1le have different struts for the mag ride. Also, I daily a ram truck. I have more compartment space in the arm rest than I do in the entire Camaro, and that’s one thing amongst many others that make other cars better daily’s. But nonetheless, if this is the only car you own, then yeah you would have to and could daily it.

Lmao. The car wants more. It’s quite amazing how precise the handling is at high speeds.

6:44 you have your front seat back all the way. I had 2 average size female adults in the back of mine.

I am 6 ft tall. My chair has 1-2 inches of space behind it. The passenger I keep centered and at its lowest height for weight distribution.

I have the same car and I am surprised you admitted they don’t make good daily drivers. I feel the same way but many disagree. Incredible weekend car though.

I want to be honest. I didn’t buy the car for a daily, but I can see why people think this car is too “racecar” for them. I love the car for what it offers.
This car over delivers to the point that it’s belittling.

I test drove one before deciding on the Chevy SS sedan. I was shocked to see what GM calls the trunk, and the Blindspot is one of the worst I’ve ever seen. Still, the performance is impressive. 🤷‍♂️

I agree about the trunk, but I don’t have any blind spot issues. I think people have their mirrors set improperly for the most part. Also the majority of people I seem to run into that don’t like the visibility, are shorter people. Probably has something to do with the narrow windows.

Try driving gloves. Will help with Alcantara wear.

I tried cleaning it with the Sonax and while the steering wheel came out great, the knob got a frayed up.

Just cleaned mine with sonax as well! don’t know what brush you used but I used a soft tooth brush and it didn’t fray much
