I ran a 9.3, where an lt1 Camaro weighing 300-400lbs lighter will run low 8s fbo and manual. DA and weather are a huge factor and people not taking off in the right gear etc. 10 speed vs 6 speed manual is also dramatically different.

No, I only participated in the Sunday event. I don’t believe Saturday was an option at the time. I believe it was strictly for the race event that was being held that weekend.

100% free to come watch or take photos. Even for the race weekends (usually). But there are different groups that go out there. SCCa, nasa, PDG, and more. So you need to look up their specific event rules.

Manual 6 speed. And only thing internal is chromoly pushrods but that won’t add power. It’s just bolt ons and e75 ethanol. Car is stout

There are ZERO nanny’s with the manual transmission. The only thing that I am aware of that can be tweaked in relation to it, is making the No Lift Shift more aggressive, and he desensitized my traction control a little bit at my request. Out side of that, only the 8 speed and 10 speed auto can be tuned to shift faster and harder etc. but the manual is literally manual. So no computer is going to affect how it shifts.

You’d be far from the truth I daily a e39 540 has a 4.4 v8 in it, don’t have rich parents I just work and enjoy my car when I’m not working…

0-40 is the recommended weight for a street car.

It’ll be even faster in a lt1 with the 10 speed. Your lighter and can’t beat that 10 speed gearing and lightning fast shifts.

Probably sent you the wrong model of ram. Some have the bench seat in front and some do and some don’t have the rear arm rest.

It just starts normal. No slow start. But I track the car both autocross and roadcourse and have had to repeatedly turn off and on the car in the pits while the car is still hot and no issues. This fixes the problem for most people.

I’ve been using mine with the same description you are mentioning for well over 2 years. Probably a little more resistant than you think although I do get your point. But it is a very low cost item, so I get you on the feel.

What was your weight at the time of that run? My DA wasn’t good and it was on a slight incline. I know lt1s with the same mods doing low 8s

@@Saldalaperformance I have a 1 ss 2017 8 speed.. . Muffler deleted with, drag pak. Da was 780ft. Yea those inclines make a difference. My slope on that run was 1.11%

I have the oem set of wheels with the sc3 tires. And they are great but they will give you a fast lap right after 2-3 laps and then it falls off a bit and lose confidence until a cool down lap. But never unpredictable. With the Nt01s they will produce a similar fast lap as the sc3 tire but they are much more consistent lap after lap. They are also extremely predictable.

By lap 2-3 it was already warmed up, assuming based on feel behind the wheel. The Nankang is a good tire. I went with the nt01 partly because this was the best tire for my exact size of 305-35-18. If I went 315, I probably would’ve went with the AR1.

I went with a square 305 setup to mitigate understeer and to rotate the tires. I still have the oem staggered setup for wet track days or long drives

I couldn’t tell you if that was worth it or not. But I will say, under 100k miles is great and the engine in that truck is the same 3rd gen Hemi 5.7 we have in the modern rams. With some minor exceptions but it’s a solid truck for sure.

Either there is an adjustment to the oil change interval. Yours might be set too low.

@Saldalaperformance Thank you for responding. I was told it could be a faulty thermostat. I went ahead and reset the oil life again, and if the change oil warning comes back on again before it should or the car starts overheating, then I'll go ahead and change the thermostat.
