Yeah, you got it unblocked. Good for you! The gentleman whose home they "invaded" is Darren Rust. He's the producer/ sound engineer for Home Free, and he is considered the sixth member of the group. Red, you do great reactions, thank you!
Also, the single man is Tim’s friend, the older lady is Robb’s grandma, and the couple with the young child are The Hound and the Fox. The Hound and the Fox are well worth checking out as well. Some of the guys have individually done collaborations with them on their channel.
This is a great introduction to Home Free's silly side. This one plus Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget (written by Tim) and Butt's Remix/Medley (which shows how diverse their talents are) are my favorite silly/humorous songs.
There's an interview with Tim where he says -- way before he met Home Free -- his agent guy told him "I don't want to support you unless you commit to being a country artist". (This was at a time when Tim was actively trying to move away from country. No, really.) Tim was like "Fine, I guess." He says "I went home, drank a bottle of Jack Daniels, and wrote the corniest country song I could imagine." Yep: Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget. Naturally, Home Free hit the video out of the park. (The guy in black who walks through at the end is Avi from Pentatonix, another acapella band I am actively avoiding because I can only take so much at a time.)
Can we applaud Austin's hold of that last note? Amazing!!! Love our HF guys' sense of humor❣️🎼🥰🎶♥️ (But I still don't know about Chance's thing with the laundry and his preoccupation with the bleach 🤣) #HomeFree #HomeFreeDoesChristmasBest
HF has a song for every mood. You have already experienced the silly and the sacred. If you are in a solemn mood, "Go Rest High On That Mountain" or "Travelin' Soldier" are good choices. If you want things to get a little sexy, "Unchained Melody" and "When A Man Loves A Woman" are 100% money back guaranteed.
An idea for an a cappella Christmassy song that's short (2:35), sweet, upbeat and has AMAZING harmonies... check out Voctave performing "We Need A Little Christmas." Add a little variety to your a cappella journey!
I’ve been a Home Free Patron since they started their membership and I’ve been a fan of their since their first appearance on their season on the Sing Off. They had me hooked with their style, sound, and charm from that first song. That was 10 years ago! They are amazing live and really are very entertaining! So happy this one was unblocked for us to see! Your reaction was so real and I could see how much you loved it!
They had so much fun doing this. I don't know what I liked more. The smile on Tim's face when he puts the wreath around the guys neck, his suit, or the way that Chance is actually cradling the bleach bottle. it just had me laughing from start to finish.
Oh Home Free is nuts and we love them. They can make you laugh or cry and we love that. We need some humor in our lives and the boys never take themselves too seriously. The house they invaded was their producer Darren Rust. They were all troublemakers. It’s like herding cats! Hahaha. Good one Red!😍🤣🤩
If you need another good laugh for Christmas, the one that previewed is a good one. Full of cheer! Glad you got this one settled! Sometimes it seems there’s no rhyme or reason! Great reaction! Low bass Kenneth
#Homefree What Christmas Means to Me, and Go Tell it on the Mountain with Texas Hill are both awesome songs as well. Loved your infectious laughter ❤ Watching you from Northern Minnesota
Hope you will check out all their different type covers. Hillbilly Bone, Blue Ain't your Color, Unchained Melody, GO Where I send thee with Kenny Rogers, Do you Hear what I Hear, Crazy(Patsy Cline), Boys to Men End of the Road, Mary did you Know, Listen to the Music, Seven Bridges, and Delta Dawn to mention a few
We told you. LoL They will make you dance, cry or fall out of your seat laughing. They have even made me smile and cry at the same time as they did in " Warmest Winter ". Thanks for the Home Free reactions.
The guy who's house they invade is their producer, Daren Rust. (I believe thats how he spells his name) If you liked this, for wintery fun listen to Snow Globe, Tim wrote it.
I love your reactions to HF and your joy / laughter makes me laugh out loud so please dont ever change about the guys patreon account they actually spend all of it to make videos they dont take any of it for themself much love and respect from [ i hope ] your danish friend ❤
In the song teaser at the end, please note the whistling. Rob is a world class whistler, as can be seen (heard?) in their beer/champagne song (if not there, then elsewhere). The beer/champagne song also has a cameo by Avi Kaplan. Evidently he hadn't departed after filming the Ring of Fire video.
@redheadedneighbor Also Tim's & Tim & Peter Holland cd. I usually buy 2. 1 signed & one to play. This way, I am helping them & always have their music to play
I think it was even more fun to watch you watch this the first time than it was the first time I saw it. And I don't believe I have seen any one else fall off their chair laughing, although DJ_410 came close the other day.
This is just one of their quirky Home Free songs! Be sure to listen to the one at the end it’s called full of even more chair written by Tim the bas!! Some songs are silly summer serious… Listen to their version of Mary did you know;… Oh holy night;… Angels we have heard on high;… And do you hear what I hear which was arranged by Adam rock the beat boxer!! Keep on reacting to Home Free you won’t be disappointed at all!! Before you know it all of a sudden you’ll be atHome Fry too!🎄🎅🏻
The clip at the end is from their original "Full of Cheer" that I told you about (written by Tim Foust). If you watch that one be sure to watch "Champagne taste on a beer budget " first.
LOVE those full-on belly laughs!!! Watching YOU watch THIS was really FUN!!!! They do a fantastic job of taking a silly song and.... keeping it silly, only BETTER!! Great reaction, Red!! p.s. at the end of their 'play' following the song, SOMEONE showed off a REALLY good whistle! Every BIT as clean and spot on as Bing Crosby in White Christmas!
The people in the video are Darren Rust their producer, Darryl Marrier Tim's friend, The Hound and the Fox (who have their own TH-cam channel) and the woman is Rob's grandma (the guy with the beard and glasses). If you get a chance you might want to check out Full of Cheer written by Tim (the bass), Oh Holy Night, Do You Hear What I Hear and maybe Warmest Winter written by Austin ( the sky high tenor). I truly enjoyed watching your reaction to this song. You had me laughing right along with you.
I really enjoy your reactions to Home Free. Please react to Whena Man Loves a Woman, Hillbilly Bone AND Take me Home Country Roads. They really outdo themselves on these…… well they do that on all their songs! ❤ I sub’d for the Home Free songs!
So it's quite obvious that you like at least two things, acapella music, and Christmas music. It's only fitting that you react to the song that started the modern acapella movement. Is by a group called Straight No chaser, They were a club acapella group from the University of Indiana. They did a concert in 1998 that someone recorded, and put that video on TH-cam in TH-cam's infancy around 2003. The song quickly went viral, and those original members eventually formed a professional group and have been touring ever since. The viral video predates The sing off by a couple years. I believe that particular group was the inspiration for that show. All that to say you need to react to Straight No Chaser, "12 days of Christmas"
another one that will make you laugh is their version of Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley. It's not Christmas but you have to watch for all the dance moves from the 80's. so glad you're enjoying Home Free. (fyi - I think you're a fry)
A little girl goes to her Grandpa and says, "Grampa, make a noise like a frog." Grampa asks, "Why do you want me to make a noise like a frog?" The little girl responds, "Cause Daddy says we'll make a lot of money when you croak."
Yay!!! You got this one unblocked! It's always great fun to watch reactions by people who lived through the Elmo & Patsy original version in 1979. This is one of the silliest of all Christmas songs...in the same class as "The Chipmunk Song." Somewhat more sophisticated was 10-y.o. Gayla Peevy's 1954 hit "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas." I wouldn't recommend "The Chipmunk Song" on a dare, but PostModern Jukebox does a fun cover of "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" -- th-cam.com/video/vuNH4kpuobc/w-d-xo.html
