Glad you are reacting to songs off of Feedback. I know many Rush fans who don’t take this album seriously as a Rush album. Having known the wings mysekf and seeing how they respect these songs is just a treasure to listen to. A few of them I actually prefer Rush’s version.

The words in this song would be what I would say to a lot of people I have dealt with over the years. Brilliant piece of music indeed!

Rob Zombie went on to direct horror movies (I know, big surprise). But gimmick (and video) aside, this is the definition of "kick-a**" music. High energy, catchy riffs.

You are one of the first to hear this and get that it's about someone who's about to go on stage being drugged to get through it by his management. So many just think it's a drug song.

This is an INCREDIBLE performance. I grew up with Yes and saw them live in 1974. It's so sad they lost Chris Squire before the R&R Hall award. Chris is my favorite bass player from progressive rock. If you ever get a chance to hear his solo album, *Fish Out of Water,* don't pass it up! Geddy Lee does a good job in his role, here, as Chris was a huge influence on his style. EVERY Yes album from 1970 to 1977 is epic. Two of them, *Tales from Topographic Oceans* and *Relayer* are way out there and take MANY listens to understand. Frankly, Jon Anderson's lyrics are so far out there I consider his voice an instrument rather than English communication, but that's okay. The albums that feature Steve Howe, guitar; Bill Bruford or Alan White, drums; Jon on vocals; Chris Squire on bass, and Rick Wakeman on keyboards are my favorites. *Roundabout* was from their fourth studio album. *Close to the Edge,* the song from their fifth album of the same name, is considered among the top five progressive rock compositions in history. It is VERY dynamic, densely layered, very long (over 18 minutes), and absolutely a sonic roller coaster ride. Yes had a habit of writing very long songs. As far as sounding the same live as in the studio, no, they improvised a lot and even played with a symphony on at least one occasion. Jon's and Chris' goal for the guys was always to play the same, but they were working in the pre-digital age, so no general purpose computers were used to make their music before the 1980s! They had to keep it real. This performance of Roundabout featured several more players than were on the original *Fragile* album, so the arrangement was highly layered (as a live jam based on the original).

Back in the late 1990s about 98 I saw the Mary mayhem tour it was it was Static-X mudvayne Rob zombie with Ozzy Osbourne headlining and yes on Halloween that was one hell of a cool night beautiful

I became a big fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000 back in the 1990s. I've seen most of the episodes over its ten year run multiple times since I have dvd collections of the shows. After I had my Rush awakening ten or eleven years ago, I now notice how many times they reference Rush while watching their movies. The habit continued when they started up RiffTrax several years after MST3k ended. Of course MST3k was produced in Minnesota, so they're practically Canadians themselves, eh?

Sorry, Rush couldn't hold a candle to this band.
