We are so glad your checking out more Home Free Redhead 😊 You are a Home Fry in the making and i know the Home Fries will be as kind to you as they have been to us 🍟🍟🍟
What a great video. Never heard of that song or the Oak Ridge Boys. I do remember watching a Home Free reaction once but I don't remember what song it was now. Looking forward to seeing more from them. The 'drummer' is better than a lot of actual drummers. 😆
Home Free did a really neat collab with Kenny Rogers “Children Go Where I Send Thee”. It’s kinda Christmassy so now’s a good time to react to it. Enjoyed your reaction. ❤.
These guys are the best by far and I think there is no sound Adam Rupp can not make. These guys will also bring in the subs. I nearly never miss a reaction of them, Great in concert as well, I have all their cds and vinyls, My Favorite cd I actually have one for vehicle and one for home.
Subbed for more Home Free. I enjoyed your reaction with #HighlyReActive , so I was happy to see you react to more HF. For Christmas: Do You Hear What I Hear. Nothing else like it; arranged by Adam Rupp beatboxer extraordinaire. It's my favorite HF Christmas carol. And welcome to the deep rabbit hole 🕳 called Home Free!
Geoff Castellucci from the group Voiceplay helped with this arrangement. Home Free got to perform this song with The Oakridge Boys live on the Grand Ole Opry stage - quite an honor. Don't worry, my mom used to play The Oakridge Boys on the 8-track all the time when she was driving us kids around. You're not alone feeling old ;) If you want to feel nostalgic, Home Free also did a collaboration with Don McLean for the 50th anniversary of "American Pie". I took my teenagers (I started late in life) to see Home Free as their first live concert ever. It was a great show and even my "I'm a cool teenager" daughter had a blast.
Knew you were going to love this. Saw you with Highly Reactive and subscribed to your channel. Looking forward to many more reactions with you. I agree with other comments that for Christmas you must check out, Do You Hear What I Hear. Home Free did another collaboration with the Oak Ridge Boys, a Christmas song, O Beautiful Star of Bethlehem. Anything by them you will ever listen to will surprise, charm and thrill you. They can make you laugh or cry, want to dance or be reflective but they never disappoint. I love your smile and enthusiasm. Looking forward to many more reactions.
I think you closed your eyes a couple of seconds when Austin (high tenor) had TORB signing his shirt; so cute! You said "my little country soul" and I thought, and you're not listening to Home Free? Please hear their cover of "My Church"; it's so perfect. Even beyond perfect is HF collaborating with Kenny Rogers on "Children, Go Where I Send Thee."
FYI The shirt being signed by the Oak Ridge Boys (worn by Austin Brown) was bought at an Oakridge Boys concert by a 12 yo Austin Brown and is being autographed here. With Christmas coming, you must do 2 Christmas songs by Home Free - Full of Cheer (written by bass Tim Foust) and Do You Hear What I Hear (arranged by beatboxer and founder Adam Rupp).
I’m so glad you actually did do this. I came over here just for it. If you are also a fan of Kenny Rodgers, they did a song with him, Children go Where I send Thee. It was for his last Christmas album.

Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole!
Welcome to Home free. I had the immense pleasure of seeing them in concert (Richmond, Va) in 2023. Like many others feel they are the best a-Capella group out there. Shocked that @lynnramsay8821 left off what is probably the greatest arrangement of a Christmas song off his list; "Do You Hear What I Hear". remarkable arrangement by the beatboxer Adam Rupp. Love your hair!
VoicePlay provides both wonderful singing and theatrics. As for who arranged this, I'm not sure, but Layne the beatboxer and Geoff, the bass do most of their stuff. In fact, Layne arranges for other a cappella groups. If you want a sample of his arranging ability and his sense of humor, check out Home Free's Butts Remix. And while you are in the Holiday frame of mind, take some time and give a listen to a different (larger with no beatboxer) group and their renditions of Mary, Did You Know (featuring Mark Lowry, the guy who wrote the lyrics), O Come All Ye Faithful, and/or Where Are You Christmas. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed!!!
There, you've broken the ice. Now you can check out their cover of *Brothers In Arms.* (I suggested it a while back.) It would be much appreciated. Thank you! *HUGS*
Welcome to Home Free. Next, you will need to check out their good friends from The Sing-Off. VoicePlay and their bass Geoff Castellucci. The are my two top groups and my two top bass singers are Tim and Geoff.
Welcome to the homefree rabbit whole. If you like the beat boxing by Adam Rupp you might want to check out the fan videos on youtube of adam rupp's drum solo he does live in homefree concerts.also the only homefree song I would say wait awhile before doing is mayday. 0:04 random video and I noticed the name and immediately remembered the person with the nickname redheaded stranger and think his music is awesome 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 let me know if you can’t find him
Saw you with Highly Reactive, and came right over! Welcome to the Home Free universe -- my favorite vocal band for so many reasons! If you're ready for Christmas music, I recommend their collaboration with Kenny Rogers doing "Children, Go Where I Send Thee" ! Also, for more amazing harmony and percussion, try Adam Rupp's arrangement (he's the beatboxer) of "Do You Hear What I Hear". They are two of my favs for the season. I really enjoy your enthusiasm!
That was quick!! Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole! They have nearly 10 years of 'perfect harmonies' for you to enjoy. They did another collab with the ORB for their Christmas special a couple years ago - Beautiful Star of Bethlehem - a video you might want to visit. Enjoy your fall into the Home Free rabbit hole.
@@jackmandu I meant 10 years of videos to enjoy, sorry. Since their older stuff is very hard to get other than on YT, most people, and certainly a brand new reactor won't be looking for audio only versions of Rockin' Robin, Blue Moon, Bridge Over Troubled Water, or their Disney Medley, to menetion a few.
@@redheadedneighboralso it is important to check out Adam Rupp drum solo. Hes a full on drum kit, DJ booth, turntables, (insert random instruments here) hes a total beast of a vocal percussionist 😊❤
Welcome redheadedneighbor. I saw you introduced by the two Brit guys on the Highly Reactive channel, and I how they introduced you to Home Free and your positive reaction to them. And during that reaction the Oaks came up and I thought she is going to find out that HF and the Oaks did this collab on Elvira, and sure enough the first HF video you did is this one. You are going to love Home Free with their great catalog of music and you will become a fan or Home Fry before you know it. Looking forward to your HF journey. Just subbed.
Great Reaction!! Welcome to Home Free rabbit hole. The group started in 2001 by brothers Chris and Adam Rupp They are the only country A Capella ( all vocals no instruments)group but they are honestly do much more than just country music they can sing any genre and they do They won The Sing Off season 4 2013 that's where they became very popular. Fans of Home Free are known as Home Fries and are very loyal to the guys. Adam Rupp: Beatboxer Extraordinaire -Tenor can make any sound imaginable (A whole drum kit, harmonica (his Nomonica we call it )plane flyovers, trains, castanets, bugs ,birds etc).Co founder from Mankato Minnesota. Rob Lundquist :Lead tenor(beard and glasses) very soulful voice and master whistler from Minneapolis,Minnesota Tim Foust :Bass (had long dark hair now short with grey ) 5+ octave range can go so low he blows speakers or sky high from Nederland,Texas Austin.Brown:High Tenor ( Long wavy hair ) voice of an angel from Tifton Georgia. Adam Chance(Aka Chance):Baritone/Bass deep, rich voice(Does the juice harp sound in Man Of Constant Sorrow) has short dark hair short beard from Baldwin County,Alabama.Replaced Chris Rupp ( Adams Brother and co founder in 2016) They have collaborated with many singers and legends Don McLean:American Pie Kenny Rodgers:Children Go Where I Send Thee (Please watch the end message) Billy Gilman:One Voice Alabama:Christmas In Dixie Mark Wills:Don’t Laugh At Me ( important message at the end ) Lee Greenwood & US Airforce Band:God Bless The USA Any many more. They have 3 amazing songwriters in the group Tim,Austin and Chance So they have a very large playlist of covers and original songs End of the Road (Boyz 2 Men cover ) When A Loves A Woman Helplessly Hoping (5 part harmony masterpiece ) Unchained Melody Listen To The Music Can’t Outrun You Brothers In Arms Stargazer Trilogy( All Originals written by Austin) Give Me A Sign ( Chapter 1) Stargazer Lilies( Chapter 2) MR (Chapter 3) Skull And Bones ( original written by Chance for Ubisoft new video game Skull And Bones) Might As Well Be Me ( Original) Playing With Fire ( Original) Remember My Name (Original) Oh Pretty Woman Life Is A Highway Stand By Me Cruise I Want Crazy ( newest release) Mayday(DON’T WATCH TILL YOU ARE VERY FAMILIAR WITH THE GROUP AND THEIR RANGES ) There's not a song that you pick from their 200+ catalog that is bad I haven't found one yet. They are just funny, down to earth, humble nice guys. They are the best A Cappella group there is Sorry for the long read 🍟😊
Since it's time for Christmas music, and you love The Oak Ridge Boys....you'll love they're colab on Beautiful Star of Bethlehem. Loved the reaction, btw..
So good. Home Free has collaborated with the Oaks twice, Lee Greenwood, Don McLean, Kenny Rogers and Alabama. They are known for their harmonies. Super talented men and yes Adam Rupp (beatboxer) is amazingly talented. They are country but sing all genres and also love to be goofy. For Christmas try O Holy Night, Angels We Have Heard on High, Mary Did You Know, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. Good reaction!!!😍😃
They sang with Jewel on the Sing Off and did a version of The Devil Went Down To Georgia with Charlie Daniels. Their collab on Delta Dawn is stunning too.
More Home Free please! I suggest "Man of Constant Sorrow" next. Also, a must is their cover of "Do You Hear What I Hear", which was arranged by the beatboxer Adam.
Nice to see your first reaction to HOME FREE!!! Seen the collaboration with highly reactive. Hope you fall down this rabbit hole. Been a fan of theirs since they were on the sing off in 2013. They WON!!! Have a great time with this group. Never disappointed with them. Since it is the holiday season, you should try their original holiday song Snowglob.
All of their colabs are great, and they pay much respect to the artists....another good collab for this season, is Children Go Where I send thee with Kenny Rodgers (RIP), they also did "The Gambler" as a tribute to Kenny after he passed.
Just subscribed with hopes for more Home Free reactions. Welcome to the Home Free family! If you like this you might enjoy their " Beautiful Star of Bethlehem " featuring their friend Jeffrey East and The Oak Ridge Boys. Home Free will make you dance, cry and fall out of your seat laughing! They do a huge variety of music , each have a very impressive vocal range and a great sense of humor. Adam, the beatboxer, is extremely talented. This just scratches the surface. Enjoy! Oh, and them being so pretty doesn't hurt. LoL
This really gives me the sense of "Home Free Past" meeting "Oak Ridge Boys future". The ORB's bass, Richard Sterban, sang bass for Elvis Presley early in his career. Home Free definitely collaborated with true country legends on this song--and I LOVE this collaboration❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ #HomeFree #OakRidgeBoys
Subscribed to waych your Home Free adventue. There are a couple of other really good a cappella groups I hope you find too, but enjoy Home Free for a bit first.
Howdy Redhead...saw you the other day over on highlyreactive's channel. Next up I think you should check out their latest and it's a cover of Hunter Hayes "I want crazy"....it's so good !!!!
p.s. - There's only one mistake you can make with Home Free -- listening to "Mayday" too soon. You don't get maximum enjoyment from this great performance until you know all the guys and their voices. For most reactors, that's at least 6 reactions to other HF performances. It's also an excellent idea to listen to female country vocalist Cam perform the original -- th-cam.com/video/eRrCMEXPjWo/w-d-xo.html When you listen to HF's all-male version, note that they perform it in the same key as Cam!
@@redheadedneighbor Most reactors who discover HF begin with "Man of Constant Sorrow" or "When a Man Loves a Woman"...and these are among their best...but it's Christmas season! There's no better time than now to react to their versions of "Do You Hear What I Hear" ( th-cam.com/video/wIQQDYaoWpc/w-d-xo.html ), "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" ( th-cam.com/video/6c8GlSb6XlA/w-d-xo.html ), "Tennessee Christmas" (ft. Rachael Wammack, th-cam.com/video/ath8jKJ96kc/w-d-xo.html )... and HF's original song "Snow Globe" ( th-cam.com/video/a9i7qMw8vYc/w-d-xo.html ).
Welcome to the Rabbit Hole my friend! Homefree is an amazingly talented group of guys who are just humble and fun! They don't only do covers, they have a bunch of original music that you will want to see! " Playing with Fire","Road Sweet Road ","Understand ","So long Dixie " is a good start for you, they have an extensive list of songs they've done!We are the HomeFries and those who are kind to our guys...we show up and support the Reactors who support Homefree!
The guys on Highly Reactive are gems. I love to watch their reactions. Great reaction and welcome to the rabbit hole known as Home Free. Have a great day!
Home Free is a fantastic group. Another aca group that's wonderful is VoicePlay. They are the theater geeks of acapella, and are incredibly creative and vocally talented!😊
This song was my introduction to Home Free. I grew up listening to the Oakridge boys and wanted to listen to Elvira and found this. Now I am a Home fry
Love your reaction to what has become my favorite music group ! I'm subscribing for MORE ! And it speaks volumes about Home Free in that The Oak Ridge Boys were willing to perform their signature song with them ! My biggest recommendations for your next reactions to Home Free are: In the Blood; Helplessly Hoping; Brothers in Arms; When a Man Loves a Woman. See ya soon !
Welcome to one of the best rabbit holes you'll ever have the pleasure of exploring! Home Free is amazing and boy, did you pick a great place to start! Great reaction! Given the season, I highly recommend you check out some of Home Free's holiday themed videos. They're awesome! Have fun! :)
Welcome to redhead, loved your reaction with the guys an loved it that you introduced them to Angelina Jordan! Got to go to man of constant sorrow first to love some freestyle a cappella! You just got a little taste of what this group can do. Again welcome! Low bass Kenneth
With Christmas coming, you should listen to some of their holiday songs. Go Tell It On the Mountain and Full of Cheer are a couple of good ones to start with.
you can find several different versions from different tours but adam rupp always gets a chance to show off with his own solo. where he shows off his drumming and his beatboxing
Saw you on Highly Reactive channel yesterday and immediately came over here to subscribe. Couldn’t take time to watch this one until now. I haven’t gone through the comments, but Home Free and the Oak Ridge Boys really hit it off when recording this video. After a bit the ORB’s told Hime Free that they reminded them of themselves when they first had this lineup. They even performed with them during a livestream Christmas special during the pandemic (near the end). I believe there is a video on Home Free’s channel. It’s b the ORB’s “Beautiful Star of Bethlehem”. It’s both groups performing together. Anyway, loved your reaction! Looking forward to seeing more Home Free reactions. Oh, we’re from neighboring states. I’m right below you in Louisiana.
I am jealous of the FOOD where you are. Yuuummmm. I lived there as a kid. Thank you so much for coming over. These guys impressed me. Isn’t it funny that it took my two Brit friends to introduce me to an American group is good? Lol. Love those guys.
@@redheadedneighbor The food here is one of the main reasons we stay. lol Oh, so we have 2 things in common m: Home Free appreciation and being from the South. lol As far as being introduced to Home Free the other day by LeeJay and Stan, better late than never. Also, a great duo to introduce them to you! They quickly became one of my favorite channels! Would love to see you react to their cover of “Man of Constant Sorrow” since I heard you say you loved the movie. It would be one of the songs where you get a feel and sense of how far they’ve evolved since the collaboration with the Oak Ridge Boys.
Well know that your beautiful smile and just glowing energy makes our day better. Yes I was 10 when I saw them in 1986 they still have it. Thanks for this. 🥰😄😄
Since we're in the Christmas season, you should check out their Christmas music. This would include Grandma Got Run over by a Reindeer for absolute hilarity.
@@redheadedneighbor Technically, it's not a Christmas song, so any time in the next few months will be a great time to check out their original song "Snow Globe" -- th-cam.com/video/a9i7qMw8vYc/w-d-xo.html
I just subscribed to your channel. You asked for suggestions, how about Alison Krause and Union Station and their version of Baby Now That I Found You? You are doing great work. Thanks
Welcome to the Home Fry club! I just saw them live in Charlotte, NC and they are just as good live as in studio. Check out Take Me Home Country Road. A perfect country vibe! Also check out Die A Happy Man!!
Went thru your play list. Didn't see 'Helplessly Hoping'. You really should do that one. A moment of silence is required at the end. Thank you. Keep up the good work.
You have the most beautiful and infectious smile I’ve ever seen. You are so much fun to watch these clips with. Keep the great videos coming and we will be here watching. This is absolutely great I grew up listening to these guys and it’s great to see a fresher spin on the song and these guys look like they are having the time of their life. It’s great to see Adam Rupp actually doing the drums and sounds.
This was my song when I was younger. I was 3 when they released it. Well, because I have weird things about lyrics, and I always heard "Hellfira", 42 years later it still is. I remember freaking my aunt out singing the lyrics and my dad explaining that's how I heard it. My favorite part then and now is the bass :)
This is a great collaboration between Home Free & The Oak Ridge Boys. "Elvira" was a huge hit for The Oakridge Boys in 1981. You can see the great respect these 2 groups have for each other. The Oakridge Boys are mentors to Home Free & it is like they are passing the baton to a younger version of themselves. They have performed together on the Grand Ole Opry. Adam Rupp's vocal percussion is the best in the business. He can simulate drums & any other sounds perfectly. Home Free is my favorite a cappella group. They are so talented yet very humble guys.
If want proof about the Opry, check out Dreamer from the Dive Bar Saints Album (withOUT featuring Texas Hill). Check out Dreamer featuring Texas Hill if you want to see them at The Ryman.
Saw you on Highly Reactive and started following you looking forward to your Home Free education. If by any chance you are interested in an original plus Christmas theme, one of my favorites is Cold Hard Cash for Christmas.
HF 101: Group was formed in 2000 by baritone Chris and beatboxer Adam Rupp. The group went full-time in 2008, about the time that bearded tenor Rob Lundquist introduced himself to the group. Bass Tim Foust has been showing off his five-octave range since 2012. Tenor Austin Brown (ORB T-shirt) came aboard in 2013 after meeting the group aboard a cruise ship. Later that year, HF won the nationally-televised "Sing Off." This video features that lineup. Chris Rupp amicably left HF in 2016, and was replaced by Adam "Chance." All five current members can beatbox, all can sing tenor, all can sing bass, and all but Adam Rupp sing lead.
Ah, yes. Was wondering if you would do some Home Free after the collab. I watched y'all. If you want to another version of Proud to Be An American with Home Free, check out the one with with the original artist, Lee Greenwood. Now, we Home Fries tend to swarm the reactors who appreciate our guys. Time to learn the guys names! It's ok, though. You're new to them. Promise you'll get their names fast. Have fun with the Home Free rabbit hole! Trust me, I'm not the only one watching, and will probably be adding as a new sub.

WELCOME TO HOME FREE! You are in for a TON of listening pleasure with this vocal band.
I think I believe you. 🤯
Hold on… I LOVE Kenny Rogers!💕
Also, along with the Oaks again in their Christmas special, they also did Christmas in Dixie with Alabama!@@redheadedneighbor
@@daleb1279 oh my goodness
@@redheadedneighbor Children Go Where I Send Thee is monumental! They also did a beautiful cover of The Gambler in tribute to Kenny after he died.
@@redheadedneighbor Fun fact about their colab with Kenny HE REACHED OUT TO HF FOR THAT
That was quick!!
Thank you! I’m happy to be here!
This is a must hear ❤
If by ‘nearly 10 years’ you mean 20 years, then yes, they have lots and lots great music out there.
@jackmandu yeah. Way more than 10 yrs! 😂❤❤
Hey sweetie, im so excited for this one . A total killer. The respect Home Free show for The Oak Ridge Boys is sooo sweet.
I agree! I love that. And the respect the Oak Ridge Boys show them is admirable as well!
If you liked Adam Rupp’s drum roll, you must absolutely check out their cover of Listen to the Music. His vocal percussion is insanely good
Oh, my. I bet he does!
@@redheadedneighboralso it is important to check out Adam Rupp drum solo. Hes a full on drum kit, DJ booth, turntables, (insert random instruments here) hes a total beast of a vocal percussionist 😊❤
@@DrPaul-xf4no that is amazing!
Thank you so much. You called this play perfectly!
I also saw you with Highly Reactive, so glad they introduced you to Home Free. Please continue of with Home Free, I'll be here watching.

Thank you so much!
Thank you. I’m very excited!
Thank you! I am dying to hear man of constant sorrow. I love that song
Home Free also performs Beautiful Star of Bethlehem with The Oak Ridge Boys and Jeffrey East.
That sounds beautiful!
They have so much Christmas music!
Watch out Pentatonix 🙏
All of their colabs are great, and they pay much respect to the artists....another good collab for this season, is Children Go Where I send thee with Kenny Rodgers (RIP), they also did "The Gambler" as a tribute to Kenny after he passed.
I love Kenny! I def need to check that out!
LoL
Absolutely!!!lol!!!

I hope so too. They seem to be right up my alley
great reaction!!!! they have over 200 songs put there, just pick one. you will never be disappoirted , i know i never have.
Exciting!
This really gives me the sense of "Home Free Past" meeting "Oak Ridge Boys future".
The ORB's bass, Richard Sterban, sang bass for Elvis Presley early in his career. Home Free definitely collaborated with true country legends on this song--and I LOVE this collaboration❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️

Howdy Redhead...saw you the other day over on highlyreactive's channel. Next up I think you should check out their latest and it's a cover of Hunter Hayes "I want crazy"....it's so good !!!!
Sounds like these guys are incredibly versatile. I like that!
@@redheadedneighbor they are, they can sing country, blues, ballads, etc
My mom used to LOVE this song. Lol!
All our moms did! 🤣
I need to avoid that pitfall. I would like to get to know the guys better. I’m sure I will. Thank you for your kind guidance

4:26 watch the one with Don McLean and American Pie 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Funny trivia: Elvira was the name of the street. ;)
Fascinating. Absolutely fascinating
It’s little baby Austin! He really needed to grow a beard 😂
This is outstanding! And you are super cute : )
