God also said, "I will be his Father, and he will be my Son." 6 And when he brought his firstborn Son into the world, God said, "Let all of God's angels worship him." 7 Regarding the angels, he says, "He sends his angels like the winds, his servants like flames of fire." 8 But to the Son he says, "Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever. You rule with a scepter of justice. 9 You love justice and hate evil. AFAIK the first Christians keep both the Sabbath on Saturday & the Lord's Day on Sunday, but as they became more anti Semitic the Sabbath was abandoned in a bid to seperate from the Jews. The fundamental principles that have sustained the work for the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A new organization would be established. Books of a new order would be written. A system of intellectual philosophy would be introduced. The founders of this system would go into the cities, and do a wonderful work. The Sabbath of course, would be lightly regarded, as also the God who created it. Nothing would be allowed to stand in the way of the new movement. This is not genuine Seventh-day Adventist theology. Our pioneers established the faith with the pillar of the personality of GOD. GOD is a person (the FATHER), not a trinity. Ellen White, a non-trinitarian, verified this in her writings.
@@timoflink2686 Do you not believe that GOD is a person? Here is what EGW does say: "Jesus Christ is our heavenly Father. Jesus Christ is the Father with us. "Christ was God essentially..." { RH April 5, 1906, par. 6} has the FATHER'S essence but is not personally GOD; is personally the SON OF GOD. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.” => "God" is used both of the Father and of the Son in Scripture and in SOP. You cannot change that. Ellen White describes the three persons of the Godhead (Trinity) like this: "The Father is all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and is invisible to mortal sight." "The Son is all the fullness of the Godhead manifested." "The Comforter that Christ promised to send after He ascended to heaven, is the Spirit in all the fullness of the Godhead" (speaking of the Holy Spirit) The Bible says that lying to the Spirit is lying to God (Acts 5:3-4). The Spirit searches the deep things of God (1 Cor 2:10-11), which makes him God, equal to the Father and the Son. So says SOP. Also, in Heb 3:7 the Holy Spirit is said to be saying the words that God says in Ps 95:7-11. So, no, I am not reading my definition of God into this, because the Scriptures and the SOP give amply evidence that God is a unity of three co-eternal persons. I find no support of any anti-trinitarian position in either of them. Hence I'm a fully committed Trinitarian as defined by the Fundamental Beliefs 2-5.
The Bible presents God as one God in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. We find evidence of their distinct personhood and their unity in various passages. For example, in Matthew 28:19, Jesus commands His disciples to baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, indicating their equal divine status. Additionally, in passages like John 14-16, Jesus speaks about the relationship between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, showing their interconnectedness. The Adventist church would not welcome Jesus' own disciples as pastors today.
@@AdventistOrgChurch but the disciples never baptised anyone in the name of the Trinity as you are struggling hard to prove. Now the question is, were the disciples disobedient or revolting? Acts 2:38, 8:16, 19:5.
The Bible teaches that God was in Christ. Christ was our example, for we, also, are to be the temple of the Holy Spirit. And God is a spirit--see John 4:24--and of course God is Holy. Jesus spoke God's words, as he repeatedly told us so that we would not misunderstand--and yet people still have confused things and thought Jesus was God. God cannot die, nor be tempted, according to the Bible, and God is invisible (see 1 Timothy 1:17; 6:16; James 1:13). No one has ever seen God according to John 1:18 and 1 John 4:12. Did people see Jesus? But Jesus was so clear that the "only true God" was the Father. See John 17:3. Compare John 4:24 with Luke 24:39 and it is clear that Jesus taught his own disciples that he was not God. God was *in* Christ (2 Corinthians 5:19). No Bible text says that Jesus was God. Jesus himself called himself the Son of Man. However, the Bible does give us permission to worship Jesus--see Hebrews 1:6. If Jesus had been God, this permission or commandment would have been unnecessary.

@@AdventistOrgChurch The Trinity is a faith-destroying doctrine of devils--part of the "every wind of doctrine" that was predicted to come in the days we are now living. Those who believe in the Trinity tend to view the Father as a stern judge, which requires the mediation of both the Holy Spirit and the Son to appease in light of our sinful natures, lest we have no chance of approaching Him. Those who know the truth, believe Jesus' words: "the Father Himself loveth you..." (John 16:27). The Godhead and Godhood Christians do love their spiritual jargon, especially when it is has the epic overtones of the King James Version. Jargon is only useful when we properly know what it means. One such theological word found in and popularised by the KJV is “godhead.” The problem I have with it is that it is used synonymously for the Holy Trinity. As far scripture is concerned it isn’t. The word “godhead” appears only three times in the KJV at Acts 17:29, Romans 1:20 and Colossians 2:9. [1]The word is from Middle English and means the same as godhood, that is, the state of being god. The -head suffix is the same as -hood which we still use in modern English in words like fatherhood, the state of being a father. [2]Three different Koine Greek words, theion, theiotēs, and theotēs, in order of their appearance in the KJV, were translated as “godhead”. Modern translations of the Bible do not use godhead but tend to use words like deity, the divine nature, or divine being depending on the context. The Greeks used such words to talk about god without referring to any specific one in particular. This particularly makes sense in Acts 17 at the Areopagus where Paul was addressing a Greek audience and presenting his arguments on the true nature of God. Even in somewhat formal English today we refer to God in sort of an impersonal manner by calling him the Deity. So where did this association with the Trinity come from? On account of the continued popularity of the KJV, the word “godhead” continues to stay in currency. The word was actually introduced into English translations by John Wycliffe, the great English Bible translator and Reformer. [3]As early as the 12th century B.B. Warfield remarks that it was used as a technical term used to refer to the ousia or the substance of God in the doctrine of the Holy Trinity. Since this predated Wycliffe it was probably an influence on why in his translation of the New Testament the term. It was chosen because of its Trinitarian connotations. The KJV was heavily influenced by Wycliffe’s why is why the godhead was probably used in the translation. Its popularity continued in later documents like Thirty-Nine articles of the Church of England and the Westminster confession. Even though godhead is used to refer to Trinitarian doctrine, in the KJV it is used to translate words that have nothing to do with later theological developments. Even the basic meaning of the word is not Trinitarian and just means being divine. I fully recognise the meaning of a word is determined by how it is used and the word has for a long time assumed that technical theological meaning. All I am saying is whenever we pick up the KJV and read the word, we should not immediately assume it is a reference to the Trinity
These are some of the most confusing statements about GOD being three persons and in the same breath say He and Him in the singular pronoun. “I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: that they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.” Isaiah 45:5-6 KJv
There may be other non-Trinitarian perspectives, but this is mine: The answer is both Yes and No. Hebrews 10:5 says "a body hast thou prepared for me," speaking of the humanity which Christ was to occupy. Christ, God's son, pre-existed the incarnation in Bethlehem, but that humanity which developed in Mary's womb was created. Ellen White puts it this way: "The work of God's dear Son in undertaking to link the created with the Uncreated, the finite with the Infinite, in His own divine person, is a subject that may well employ our thoughts for a lifetime." (Review and Herald, Jan. 11, 1881). According to Ellen White, then, Christ's person linked both the "created" and the "Uncreated." This is the very same teaching we find in the Bible.

Trinitarianism destroys love, and it is not love for GOD to love Himself (which is somehow a Trinity). The Bible defines what love is: John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. It would not be love if GOD did not have an only-begotten SON (His own life) to give. And I couldn't help thinking, who is this "he"? How can one worship this singular grammatical person that cannot possibly be understood-an idea completely foreign to the Scriptures (even though Scriptures are quoted, and i would say abused)? Worst of all, many members around the world who have questioned this teaching are being disfellowshipped, without any fair hearing. I love the Bible. It tells me of a GOD who is My FATHER and my SAVIOUR'S FATHER. He sent His only-begotten SON to save me from my gross sins, whom I can look at and live, knowing that He perfectly represents GOD. I rejoice in the Holy Spirit that is His very own life, who lived my life perfectly in His humanity. Only His Spirit is holy-the Spirit of My SAVIOUR. A young child can understand this truth of a personal GOD and a personal FATHER. O what marvelous love, but O how sad how this wonderful gospel is eclipsed by an incomprehensible teaching that also makes GOD into a mystical essence that pervades creation that we cannot even relate to. I love GOD, but I hate this contrived Trinity.
Trinity is biblical but the explanation behind it is what brings troubles.. The Father is a distinct and separate person from the son and the holy spirit..so is the son
Well that's just not so. The Adventist Church believes explicitly that the statement "God is love" is possible only if God is three persons who share outward reciprocal love for each other. That is at the heart of existence of anything. Joh 3:16 is then the outworking of the plan of salvation based on this inner-Trinitarian reciprocal love.
i was hoping you provide biblical truth about trinity not wording and definitions of no meaning ,i believe in trinity but like bible proofs and short understanding answer ....
You're seeking a direct connection between the Trinity and the Bible, which is essential. Which aspects of the Trinity would you like to delve into from a scriptural perspective?
@@SeerSeekingTruth There is no such scripture, which is why Trinitarians cannot procure one. If there were such a text, the Bible would stand in contradiction to itself, for it says no one has seen God at any time (1 John 4:12; John 1:18); God has only immortality (1 Tim. 6:16; 1:17); God cannot be tempted with evil (James 1:13); God is spirit and does not have flesh and bones (John 4:24; Luke 24:39); God is not a man, nor the son of man (Numbers 23:19); and many other things which are incompatible with a Jesus that was tempted, who died, who was seen, who was a man and the son of man, etc.
The word trinity ... I can not find it in the bible nor this mysterious doctrine... wait Nicea 325 and on was imposed by force and 3 country was annihilated because of the trinity doctrine
The Bible revealed only God the Father and Jesus Christ His only son. The add what is not revealed in the Bible is a grave sin. God warns not to add or remove the teaching of the Bible. Teaching of 3 separate gods is adding what is not revealed in the Bible and God will bring judgment on these false teachers.
The terminology can vary between denominations, but the belief in the three-person Godhead is a shared concept. What key theological aspects of the Godhead are most essential to your faith?
@@AdventistOrgChurch is it confusing because they also have a trinity at is one entity with 3 heads… we need to distance ourselves from the term when the Bible gave us the term Godhead.
@@AdventistOrgChurch catholics also has a concept of one God with three heads and that’s not a shared concept and the term Trinity is associated with that which is why we should use the Biblical term the Godhead to show a distinction between the views.
God never said Jesus was God. Where do you get that idea? Jesus said, however, that his words were God's words (see John 14:10; 12:49, etc.). The Bible is plain that we have never seen God, heard His voice, nor even seen His shape (see John 1:18; 1 John 4:12; John 5:37). Did people see or hear Jesus?
@@BrightBeamsMission There are several important things to understand about John 1:1. Let's start with the Greek language. The word "logos," translated as "Word" in English, has broad application in scripture, and is used in many ways. In the KJV it is translated as "cause" (Matthew 5:32), "communication" (Matthew 5:37), "sayings" (Matthew 7:24), "word" (Matthew 8:8, as in "but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed"; Matthew 8:16, as in "he cast out the spirits with his word"; Matthew 12:32, as in "whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man"; etc.), "account" (Matthew 12:36), "saying" (Matthew 15:12), "thing" (Matthew 21:24), "talk" (Matthew 22:15), and many more. The next important thing to understand is that Greek had no uppercase/lowercase distinction when the New Testament was written. In fact, it was all uppercase, since lowercase letters were not invented until over a millennium later. By capitalizing "Word" in the English translation, the translators added an element of personification which is not in the original text. To illustrate the impact of this, let's substitute a similar word and see how it affects the sense of meaning: In the beginning was the answer, and the answer was with God, and the answer was God (or, following the word order of some translations, "God was the answer."). How does that change your perception of the passage? According to the Bible, no one has seen God at any time (John 1:18; 1 John 4:12). Jesus was seen, and while he spoke God's words, spoken words are _not_ seen. Jesus, from the beginning, has spoken God's words to us. Throughout the Old Testament, every interaction between humanity and God has been through Christ, the Word. He is sometimes referenced as "the angel of the Lord"--angel meaning messenger. The "Word" addressed in John 1:1 is a reference to Jesus' office as spokesperson for God, the one who has always been God's voice to His creation. Jesus repeated multiple times that the words he spoke were not his but those of the Father who was dwelling in him. Ellen White applies Proverbs 8:22 to Christ---possessed by God. Jesus is the "Word of God" in the sense of speaking for God to us. The words he speaks are those of his Father, who is God, therefore, to hear the "word" is to hear God, even though it is not God's actual voice we hear (Jesus taught that no one has ever heard the Father's voice--see John 5:37).
“Whoever desires to be saved should above all hold to the catholic faith. Anyone who does not keep it whole and unbroken will doubtless perish eternally. Now this is the catholic faith: That we worship one God in trinity and the trinity in unity, neither blending their persons nor dividing their essence. For the person of the Father is a distinct person, the person of the Son is another, and that of the Holy Spirit still another. But the divinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is one, their glory equal, their majesty coeternal. What quality the Father has, the Son has, and the Holy Spirit has. The Father is uncreated, the Son is uncreated, the Holy Spirit is uncreated. The Father is immeasurable, the Son is immeasurable, the Holy Spirit is immeasurable. The Father is eternal, the Son is eternal, the Holy Spirit is eternal. And yet there are not three eternal beings; there is but one eternal being. So too there are not three uncreated or immeasurable beings; there is but one uncreated and immeasurable being. Similarly, the Father is almighty, the Son is almighty, the Holy Spirit is almighty. Yet there are not three almighty beings; there is but one almighty being. Thus the Father is God, the Son is God, the Holy Spirit is God. Yet there are not three gods; there is but one God. Thus the Father is Lord, the Son is Lord, the Holy Spirit is Lord. Yet there are not three lords; there is but one Lord. Just as Christian truth compels us to confess each person individually as both God and Lord, so catholic religion forbids us to say that there are three gods or lords. The Father was neither made nor created nor begotten from anyone. The Son was neither made nor created; he was begotten from the Father alone. The Holy Spirit was neither made nor created nor begotten; he proceeds from the Father and the Son. Accordingly there is one Father, not three fathers; there is one Son, not three sons; there is one Holy Spirit, not three holy spirits. Nothing in this trinity is before or after, nothing is greater or smaller; in their entirety the three persons are coeternal and coequal with each other. So in everything, as was said earlier, we must worship their trinity in their unity and their unity in their trinity. Anyone then who desires to be saved should think thus about the trinity. But it is necessary for eternal salvation that one also believe in the incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ faithfully. Now this is the true faith: That we believe and confess that our Lord Jesus Christ, God's Son, is both God and human, equally. He is God from the essence of the Father, begotten before time; and he is human from the essence of his mother, born in time; completely God, completely human, with a rational soul and human flesh; equal to the Father as regards divinity, less than the Father as regards humanity. Although he is God and human, yet Christ is not two, but one. He is one, however, not by his divinity being turned into flesh, but by God's taking humanity to himself. He is one, certainly not by the blending of his essence, but by the unity of his person. For just as one human is both rational soul and flesh, so too the one Christ is both God and human. He suffered for our salvation; he descended to hell; he arose from the dead; he ascended to heaven; he is seated at the Father's right hand; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead. At his coming all people will arise bodily and give an accounting of their own deeds. Those who have done good will enter eternal life, and those who have done evil will enter eternal fire. This is the catholic faith: one cannot be saved without believing it firmly and faithfully.” -Athanasian Creed ✝️
I am instructed to say, The sentiments of those who are searching for advanced scientific ideas are not to be trusted. Such representations as the following are made: “The Father is as the light invisible; the Son is as the light embodied; the Spirit as the light shed abroad.” “The Father is like the dew, invisible vapor; the Son is like the dew gathered in beauteous form; the Spirit is like the dew fallen to the seat of life.” Another representation: "The Father is like the invisible vapor. The Son is like the leaden cloud. The Spirit is rain fallen and working in refreshing power.” {Ms21-1906} All these spiritualistic representations are simply nothingness. They are imperfect, untrue. They weaken and diminish the Majesty which no earthly likeness can be compared to. God cannot be compared with the things His hands have made. These are mere earthly things, suffering under the curse of God because of the sins of man. The Father cannot be described by the things of earth. The Father is all the fulness of the Godhead bodily and is invisible to mortal sight. {Ms21-1906}
Sorry, Jesus isn’t God, nor equal to God. He called our God and Father his God and Father at John 20:17. See also: 1 Corinthians 8:4-6 4 Now concerning the eating of food offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world and that there is no God but one. 5 For even though there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many “gods” and many “lords,” 6 there is actually to us one God, the Father, from whom all things are and we for him; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are and we through him. The mystery of the trinity. Straight from Rome
“Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.” 1 Timothy 6:16
Rome has very little to do with it when the early church was formulating the doctrine from the Bible. The bishop of Rome did not participate the council of Nicaea at all.
“But *ye shall receive power* after that *the Holy Ghost is come upon you* and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
And the Son of God declares concerning Himself: “The Lord possessed Me in the beginning of His way, before His works of old. I was set up from everlasting.... When He appointed the foundations of the earth: then I was by Him, as one brought up with Him: and I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him.” Proverbs 8:22-30. PP 34.1
These words reveal the timeless nature of the Son of God. How do you personally connect with the idea of Jesus being "daily His delight"?
@@AdventistOrgChurch I wonder, have you read what was opened to us by the SOP on Prov 8: 22-30? If you had you sure wouldn’t be standing your ground on a false doctrine and ask this man to explain something to you.

John 10:30
I and my Father are one.
38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

“That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. *He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father* which hath sent him.”
If Jesus is the only begotten, which the Bible declares, how can Jesus be without begining
His personality had a beginning (Sr. White verifies this); but His essence is that of GOD, which is original and has no beginning.

True Adventist know that the trinity is a pagan doctrine that was brought in by Constantine in 325 ad at the council on Nicaea! The beliefs of the true Adventist pioneers will soon be spread everywhere! The church has strayed away from truth.
Indeed, why is this paganism being allowed to be accepted? We must go back to the old paths- the trinity is linked to Tammuz....why are we engaged and embracing this folly? I know why? But many don't...study the bible, look at history and we'll see that there are no lies.

@@AdventistOrgChurch The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith, and engaging in a process of reorganization. Were this reformation to take place, what would result? The principles of truth that God in His wisdom has given to the remnant church, would be discarded. Our religion would be changed. The leaders would teach that virtue is better than vice, but God being removed, they would place their dependence on human power, which, without God, is worthless. Their foundation would be built on the sand, and storm and tempest would sweep away the structure. (1 SM 204.2)

Ellen White describes the three persons of the Godhead (Trinity) like this:
"The Father is all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and is invisible to mortal sight."
"The Son is all the fullness of the Godhead manifested."
"The Comforter that Christ promised to send after He ascended to heaven, is the Spirit in all the fullness of the Godhead" (speaking of the Holy Spirit)
The Bible says that lying to the Spirit is lying to God (Acts 5:3-4).
Sad but true!

@@AdventistOrgChurch Have you noticed that the word "name" in Matthew 28:19 is singular, and that the only name the disciples of Jesus baptized in was that of Jesus--the only name whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:10-12)? Have you considered that if one of Jesus' disciples were baptizing that way as an Adventist pastor today, he would be defrocked and disfellowshiped?

The trinity is not biblical.
The concept of the Trinity can be a complex topic. It's good to engage in discussions and seek a deeper understanding. How do you perceive the Trinity in relation to your faith?
@@AdventistOrgChurch The Trinity is a faith-destroying doctrine of devils--part of the "every wind of doctrine" that was predicted to come in the days we are now living. Those who believe in the Trinity tend to view the Father as a stern judge, which requires the mediation of both the Holy Spirit and the Son to appease in light of our sinful natures, lest we have no chance of approaching Him. Those who know the truth, believe Jesus' words: "the Father Himself loveth you..." (John 16:27). Note the rest of that verse: "...because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God." (John 16:27). The Godhead and Godhood
Christians do love their spiritual jargon, especially when it is has the epic overtones of the King James Version.

I really need to know something. Do those not of the Trinitarian belief, believe that God created Jesus?

The Bible defines what love is:
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
It would not be love if GOD did not have an only-begotten SON (His own life) to give.

You are sharing an interesting perception about this topic. Can you tell us more about it?
Well that's just not so. The Adventist Church believes explicitly that the statement "God is love" is possible only if God is three persons who share outward reciprocal love for each other. That is at the heart of existence of anything. Joh 3:16 is then the outworking of the plan of salvation based on this inner-Trinitarian reciprocal love.

@@MongRay-n8i How do you interpret John 1:1?
To illustrate the impact of this, let's substitute a similar word and see how it affects the sense of meaning:
In the beginning was the answer, and the answer was with God, and the answer was God (or, following the word order of some translations, "God was the answer.").

Now this is the catholic faith:
That we worship one God in trinity and the trinity in unity,
neither blending their persons
nor dividing their essence.
For the person of the Father is a distinct person,
the person of the Son is another,
and that of the Holy Spirit still another.
But the divinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is one,
their glory equal, their majesty coeternal.
What quality the Father has, the Son has, and the Holy Spirit has.
The Father is uncreated,
the Son is uncreated,
the Holy Spirit is uncreated.
The Father is immeasurable,
the Son is immeasurable,
the Holy Spirit is immeasurable.
The Father is eternal,
the Son is eternal,
the Holy Spirit is eternal.
And yet there are not three eternal beings;
there is but one eternal being.
So too there are not three uncreated or immeasurable beings;
there is but one uncreated and immeasurable being.
Similarly, the Father is almighty,
the Son is almighty,
the Holy Spirit is almighty.
Yet there are not three almighty beings;
there is but one almighty being.
Thus the Father is God,
the Son is God,
the Holy Spirit is God.
Yet there are not three gods;
there is but one God.
Thus the Father is Lord,
the Son is Lord,
the Holy Spirit is Lord.
Yet there are not three lords;
there is but one Lord.
Just as Christian truth compels us
to confess each person individually
as both God and Lord,
so catholic religion forbids us
to say that there are three gods or lords.
The Father was neither made nor created nor begotten from anyone.
The Son was neither made nor created;
he was begotten from the Father alone.
The Holy Spirit was neither made nor created nor begotten;
he proceeds from the Father and the Son.
Accordingly there is one Father, not three fathers;
there is one Son, not three sons;
there is one Holy Spirit, not three holy spirits.
Nothing in this trinity is before or after,
nothing is greater or smaller;
in their entirety the three persons
are coeternal and coequal with each other.
So in everything, as was said earlier,
we must worship their trinity in their unity
and their unity in their trinity.
Anyone then who desires to be saved
should think thus about the trinity.
But it is necessary for eternal salvation
that one also believe in the incarnation
of our Lord Jesus Christ faithfully.
Now this is the true faith:
That we believe and confess
that our Lord Jesus Christ, God's Son,
is both God and human, equally.
He is God from the essence of the Father,
begotten before time;
and he is human from the essence of his mother,
born in time;
completely God, completely human,
with a rational soul and human flesh;
equal to the Father as regards divinity,
less than the Father as regards humanity.
Although he is God and human,
yet Christ is not two, but one.
He is one, however,
not by his divinity being turned into flesh,
but by God's taking humanity to himself.
He is one,
certainly not by the blending of his essence,
but by the unity of his person.
For just as one human is both rational soul and flesh,
so too the one Christ is both God and human.
He suffered for our salvation;
he descended to hell;
he arose from the dead;
he ascended to heaven;
he is seated at the Father's right hand;
from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
At his coming all people will arise bodily
and give an accounting of their own deeds.
Those who have done good will enter eternal life,
and those who have done evil will enter eternal fire.
This is the catholic faith:
one cannot be saved without believing it firmly and faithfully.” -Athanasian Creed ✝️

Jesus also called our God his God when he was in heaven.
Rev 3:12 “The one who conquers-I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will by no means go out from it anymore, and I will write upon him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the New Jerusalem that descends out of heaven from my God, and my own new name.”
