    Ok, your the first guy who’s reviewed this bar that mentioned the balance of it due to the shorter handles. Every one of these I’ve used isn’t balanced, i spend more time trying to keep the bar from wobbling than benching. I returned a BOS camber because if that. I may just order this because of your review solely, use your link. Thank you, great job 👏

      Hey!! I appreciate that! Yeah, the shorter handles certainly make a difference. Me personally, I find grabbing towards the top of the handles and resting my thumbs on the frame easily feels the best IMO

    Another great unboxing video from you! Great video and commentary as always. Sad to hear the bar has a slick powder coat mixed with passive knurling.

      Appreciate that! Yeah... certainly not a deal breaker but definitely worth mentioning IMO 🤷‍♂️

    • @MattPendergraph

      Not yet! I got sidetracked with several other projects and it fell by the wayside. I'll eventually make my way back to it but I'm unsure as to when that will be.

      @@trainwithalex9491 Do you have a REP rack? I believe they use 41" crossmembers! If so, this bar will fit it no problems!

    I'm torn between this bar and the Elite FTS bar. Which one do you think is a better deal?

    • @MattPendergraph
      @MattPendergraph  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I actually had an elitefts multi-grip bar about 10 years ago and ended up selling it off due to the lack of knurling and overall sloppy quality (sorta reminded me of something from Titan if I'm being honest) I'm sure they've since upped their quality and would be a fine choice. I personally say to go with the REP due to its great price point and overall fantastic quality!

    Q: Are you really that strong or do you employ a body double? 😁 Gluck's Gym reviewed this earlier this week and I'm so glad to see your take. Never skimp on the knurling; that's why I wear gloves. I'm still sticking with the Kadillac bar despite Kabuki's $500 price tag. Thanks for the video! 💯👍💯

    Hey matt can you bench that much with a normal barbell as well? Would you say this allows you to move more weight? How does it feel on your shoulders compared to a normal barbell

    • @MattPendergraph
      @MattPendergraph  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I can actually! TBH, I can probably bench a little more with a straight bar only because it incorporates my shoulders more into the mix as well 🤷‍♂️....my guess anyways. But yeah, this type of bar definitely takes stress off the shoulders, no question about that.

    Which feels better to use, the Kabuki Cadillac bar it the new Rep Fitness Cambered bar?

    • @MattPendergraph
      @MattPendergraph  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's a tough one...😬. As far as balancing goes, they both feel very similar (I need more time with the REP to give you a definitive answer though). I really like the handle length on the REP, but hate their choice of knurling/powdercoat (Kabuki's is WAY more textured/aggressive!). REPs sleeves are far and away nicer than Kabuki's! REPs pricing is also obviously nicer than Kabuki 😂...I dunno...there are pros/cons to both!
