The r/batmanarkham subreddit is going to have a field day with this one
Post it up there I want to see this comment section in flames
Nah. They won't. They will not care about this. They don't talk about anything other than "Man" and "Jonkler". r/Arkham probably might discuss this.
"OH SWEET JESUS ACTUAL CONTENT, I FORGOT WHAT IT WAS LIKE! PLEASE, PUT US OUT OF THIS MISERABLE STATE OF EXISTENCE BEFORE WE FALL BACK TO THE VOID"

6:30 Just to add a bit of context, it's not that the modelers went ahead and modeled a face underneath just for the sake of it, it's more likely that these were already existing models that were used as a base for the black mask thugs - hence why they still have a face underneath. On the contrary, Black Mask was a completely unique model, which is why he on the other hand doesn't have a face underneath.
The only appearance of black mask without a mask is in cutscenes, meaning he has a model specifically for that. I'm pretty sure most characters have models specifically for cutscenes too, I remember seeing a model zoo and a lot of character models had versions for cutscenes only.
You fight an unmasked Black Mask during the end of his Most Wanted mission. He definitely has an in-game unmasked model.
Arkham Origins is a true gem that deserves more attention. We really didn't give this game a chance on release
Yeah, it's a big bummer especially since they won't release it on new consoles
Come on dude , almost everyone in the community agrees that Origins is a great game just like the rest.
It's only a few people here and there that don't enjoy it and i can understand that.
Besides , it sold well too
@@lukky6648 Nowadays they do. Back in the day people criticized it for being an Arkham City clone and not being done by Rocksteady. Now since Roxksteady has betrayed us, a lot of the Arkham games are finding new life, this one especially
Far better than Arlham knight in my opinion. Despise those never ending tank battles and repetitive slow batmobile obstacle missions

"It's really cool to see"
Penguin: 👁️👅👁️
As a game developer, if a model has a fully modeled part covered up (as in Freeze's eyes) it's because the early script probably included a scene where his glasses where off. Modelling and texturing takes time, and nobody's willing to spend that time if it's not necessary. The initial scripts for videogames are huge with a lot of variables, any finished game has LOTS of cut content
"Then there's a little picture of a gun. Boom Boom :D"
1:30 The sinister music with them standing there menacingly was making me laugh
one interesting thing about the Arkham series that most people don't know about is if you get out of bounds and go through certain doors backward you load an entirely different area than what's supposed to be on the other side of the door.
Man those low poly cars and textures were amazing!
Uncanny valley cars somehow..!
@@TeruteruBozusama That's so true. The low poly + the blurry texture gave me old school N64 vibes lol
my brother in christ that patreon bonus is hilarious
It's enough to get the Sarge's attention. 😏
average patreon exclusive content ngl xD
I literally started replaying the Arkham games yesterday. What a coincidence.
There are no accidents
-- Master Oogway
I thought that too until I thought about the reason I also started replaying the Arkham games recently. It's cause suicide squad is bad so a lot of people have got the Arkham games on their mind again.
Same here.
Same
You have finally evened the odds
Origins has the best cinematics and cutscenes
I LOVE Arkham Origins! Sure, it didn't innovate as much as the other entries, but when I finished Arkham City, I was aching for just more similar gameplay, and Origins provided exactly what I was looking for!
FINALLY! After months of Origins showing up on polls IT IS TIME!!!
Huge fan of you atom!
Where are these polls?
And if so, I have a game I would like to see him do boundary break on.
9:14 I saw this and all of could think of was some thug screaming: "IT'S THE FREAKING BAT!"
Also, those 2D bats are really impressive. I'm going to have to remember that trick for later.
Arkham Origins is one of my favorite Batman games and the best part is the voice actor for Sonic the hedgehog actually voiced him.
Roger, Craig Smith is my second favorite Batman voice actor and he really does a really good job with Batman!
I wonder if the above takedown is animated that way to account for differences in the heights of the room. Rather than speeding up or slowing down the zip up it just teleports them to the right distance for a consistent animation.
babe wake up, Shesez uploaded.. and it's Arkham
I’ve been waiting for this for a while now. Thanks for the great content. It never gets boring. Thank you so much for all the hard work you’ve been doing for all these years
I just wanted to comment to support you doing this. I realize this is a weirder game to do so I just want to make sure I do what I can to teach the algo. Glad you're making more videos.
Ill never understand why there was a point in history where Origins was considered a bad Arkham game
people hate new thing when new. when new thing come out to hate, old new thing good.
It's because it didn't really do anything that City didn't. However, it's still a great game by itself. We were spoiled back in 2013 and had higher standards.
It was pretty glitchy at launch, not as bad as Knight's launch but that turned a lot of people off
@@Hwarming My current playthrough has had a number of glitches as well, especially physics glitches or enemies glitching during combat (usually to my detriment). And I genuinely think it has some of the worst level design in the series; some sections are incredibly obtuse or unfair. It also has some of the best bosses in the series, and some of the best story moments. It's been a constant cycle of aggravating me to the point of nearly quitting before something so good happens I wanna forget the bad (but I can't).
Borrowed a lot from City. Less interesting riddler puzzles. No playable second character. Less interesting story tbh.
It was just a step down from city.
At last my favourite of the Arkham games, Thank you Shesez for finally doing this
The technical terms you’ve taught me such as bill boarding and low poly have honestly introduced me to see things I never would’ve have seen, that and the funny things you show behind screen is why you’re one of my favourite game content creators
The teeth on the back of the neck is nightmare fuel I didn’t expect to see here 😂
one of the best videos yet! glad you're still around man!
Why in the hell would you think someone wouldn't wanna watch this, but be so excited about the Nintendo games???
Was just thinking about this channel *and* the Arkham series earlier for some reason. Great timing.
I'm so glad you're still making content despite TH-cam seemingly intentionally targeting you to make it as hard as possible to get the views / revenue that you deserve.
Always awesome learning how game development works through your videos
The best Batman Arkham game, the execution of the formula is just perfect.
Aslym and Origins are definitely my favorite as the were so concise with their gameplay. All meat, no filler.
City > Knight/Origins > Asylum

Don't know why I'm just getting this in my feed 2 days later. But thank you again for the vid Shesez!
Learning about any game is integral to me, and I appreciate you going through these! c:
Always a treat to watch a great video! Nice work
I always love the work you put into your videos, this one is no exception. Keep up the good work.
Great work, as always!
still watching your work since many years now, keep it up dude you're doing just fine, cheers from Marseille
Im glad you are covering my favorite batman Arkham game
I’ve been waiting for this one
That's timing! I've been replaying this because my kid accidentally erased my 100% hard game file.
So naturally you’ve 100% erased the kid?
capestun + beatdown him
Take your kid to the Aslume and put him in the vell with Bone
Thank you! Breaking boundaries to start my evening!
I'm learning to make games, and seeing all these develope techniques and hints at how games are made its both entertaining and informative.
Thank you shesez.
Was not expecting this to ever be covered!! Hell yeah!!
This my favorite Arkham game, thank you I’ve been waiting for this one
YEAAAAAH! NEW SHESEZ VIDEO!!!!
I hoped you'd cover Arkham Origins for a long time. There's alot of stuff some of the big Arkham channels don't cover. Glad you decided to post this video, though I wish you did a wide shot of Mad Hatter's Wonderland side mission, cause I always wanted to know what that map looked like outside of the restricted camera angles.
But everything you covered is fascinating. Lots of A poses & a disturbing skydome are interesting. They did rush this game, so no wonder they covered up unfinished modeling of the Gotham map. Amazing video!
Bro I’ve been waiting years for this one 🙏🙏🙏
Origins has THE best boss fights in the series, one of the coolest stories, and a really awesome bat suit
It only gets shit on cause its not Kevin as Batman
People also didn't like that it was made by WB Montreal and not Rocksteady.
lol no , origins boss fights were just rehashed things from arkham city like deathstroke and copperhead literally using parts of the rais al ghul fight .
To be fair I like origins but I do acknowledge as an Arkham game it has some weaknesses, at least compared to the first two entries.
But there's also plenty I do still like about it, I do think it's a bit overhated but now people have the Suicide Squad which is actually a lot worse. lol
my man gets it@@Shift_Salt
Never played this game but still watching this for the entertainment. I find this stuff really fun to watch even for games I never played. Shesez is just a comforting youtuber.
Oh boy it’s gaming times
I recently replayed Origins and beat it again. Thanks for this.
the one ive been waiting for so long
thank you for covering this game!! it’s my childhood 🙏 i love your videos especially region break!!
Is there a lore reason this is my favorite Arkham game? Am I stupid?
the video I waited so long for
We got it 5 years late but at least it's here
I always appreciate you explaining what we are seeing. Much love!
Always!
Awesome work, man. 🎉
Been waiting for this one
This was such a good Boundary Break, loved all the good finds
What perfect timing. I just re-installed Origins last night then see this as the first video that pops up when I go on YT.
been waiting for this
A nice surprise to see this!
Amazing. I was just rewatching the Arkham trilogy boundary breaks and this appears 🎉
Literally started revisiting Origins last night. Perfect timing
This is awesome!
I'm always excited to see someone talking about Arkham Origins. This game is the underrated gem of the franchise and deserves love.
Even if that means seeing all the details hidden out of sight~
Keep up the incredible work! Im always excited to see new episodes~
It's really interesting from a development standpoint seeing all of this cool stuff from different angles. My favorite being the inverted takedown, it's pretty cool how they do that. Also, I don't know if you're planning more for this game, but seeing the Cold Cold Heart DLC campaign would be pretty cool, if there's even anything interesting OOB for it.
I'm happy that I finally got time to sit down and watch this, sad part, it's 1:07 in the morning.
The Heavy Rain music fits surprisingly well here ;)
Thanks for doing this. Out of bounds stuff scares me to no end. 🙈
Make a part 2 if you could , I've been waiting for this episode for a long long time 😭
I bought these games for my younger brothers, hoping to play it along the line. They got so hooked, I never managed to get my ha'ds on them
dude i was just wanting an origins episode the other day this is perfect
I held off from watching this for the sake of spoilers since I recently got this game but sent it to friends to double check and man I can *promise* you that just like Origins itself, this'll be a hidden gem of an episode. So many impractical hidden details in a late ps3/360 game. Nevermind the comedy in this one, it's always a treat to see.
Wow, so excited to see this game this time.
Love the videos!
ive been waiting years for this boundary break
Thank you for this
This was a nice surprise!
I just want to say, that i really appreciate you covering Armham Origins. AO has probably become my favourite arkhham game, so thanks
i wish you made more/longer videos uncovering the batman arkham games
Im proud of you Shesez
That's crazy that I just recently decided to go back to these games to complete them and now you make a boundary break. The timing is UNREAL. I know he probably went back to Origins because of the new Suicide Squad but still. Lol.
Hey lets call this series: Lets look at every models eyes!
Bro I’m so glad u made this I don’t think u understand how much the asylum city and knight boundary break vids meant to us
oh man how I wish I could watch this right now. The second I'm out of work you're mine for 12 minutes brother
Good video man!
Love this game!!! I'd really like to see another episode on this game. There's lots of cool levels in it.
I’ve always loved the A pose over the T. Seeing it in source has been the best. Like the old war of the worlds gmod vids with the mingebags.
I can’t believe I’m seeing this thumbnail.. man this is going to be a good video when I watch it. Thank you shesez!
The bomb’s payload is exposed. I can use the power winch to trigger a controlled explosion.
