The Penguin isn't wearing the bottle as fashion. He was attacked and the broken end was shoved into his eye. It's in one of the games, as an extra. I can't remember the whole story, but he can't get it removed without dying.

I have a request. In Batman The Enemy Within, a character gets killed at the end of episode 1, and the killer is revealed in episode 5, but in episode 1 you see a silhouette in the distance. In my opinion, that silhouette never looked like the real killer, but like another character. Could you do a video on Batman The Enemy Within, and move the camera to. See what model was used for that silhouette?

I really like how this series not only shows what is off camera but also explains some common techniques used in video game development to save on resource usage and time spent modelling certain aspects of the environment. Also interesting to see that typically, the newer the game is, the less these kinds of techniques are used as recourses are more readily available to the developer.

You can actually see into Catwoman's apartment on the main game map, but you can't enter it. You just look into the glass ceiling on top of the building. That's why it was modeled.

it was not pronounced correctly, because R'as AlGhoul is Arabic for "Head of the deamon" Ras not Rash, and you pronounce it with a slight hick-up as you read the letter "a" in R(a)s.
“Raysh” was started by the animated series in 1992. Ras first appeared in comics in the 70s. He’s Egyptian, Arabic at the very least so it’s obviously pronounced Ra’s 💁🏽♂️
I'm just so glad that I finally get some closure as to what Gotham looks like when Cat Woman chooses not to save Batman. That's something that has been bothering me for the longest time. It may not have been much, but I was happy to see it nonetheless.

I remember being obsessed with this game and glitching out of the church and seeing riddler under the map. I was proud of my own boundry breaking over 5 years ago. Regardless this was a great video and a fascinating look at all the hidden details
Catwoman's apartment is visible through the skylight on top, but the glass is frosted obscuring the lack of detailed elements and minor touches. This partial visibility explains why her apartment looks unfinished: The things that are present are intended to create a specific appearance when viewed from above through the skylight.

I've beaten this game about 5 times, platinumed it on PS3, beaten every side mission at least 3 times, and found every Riddler trophy twice, and I would call this my favorite game of all time. And yet I still somehow learn new things about it from different TH-camrs and my own experiences.
I've watched a decent amount of your videos in the past, but this one is by far my favorite, as you managed to teach me new things about a game that I've been playing for 4 years now.

I don't know what it is about them, but the Arkham games have been my favorite boundary breaks.
Maybe it's because they're so well put together with lots of detail and cool stuff happening, so you _know_ there's something interesting to see back there.

LET SEE WHAT THE JUDGES SAY! OH! THEY SAY IT'S WRONG! It's pronounced how it's spelled. Raz. Not Raysh. Raz. His name is supposed to mean "Head of the Demon" in Arabic. Using the Hebrew pronunciation Raysh means "To Bow." Which has nothing to do with his name. So... say it with me... "Ra's (RAZ) Al Ghul. Did you get it right? Good. This discussion is now over.
Raysh and Raz are both correct. They both work and are both used.
Edit: I've done some work and found Ra's Al-Ghul in Arabic. Yeah it's Raz. Raysh is just a another pronunciation. Demon's Head means raas alshaytan and is pronounced raz. DL2 is right however Raysh is still correct since it's used in a Batman alongside Ra's.
The correct pronunciation will always be "raysh" and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it

For some reason, the audio cuts out when you take the camera over to the Asylum.
I was wondering if it was just me, so I'm both glad that someone else mentioned it, and disappointed that it's not something that can be fixed by rebooting my computer.

Parallaxing is also a popular web development effect. It shows depth, 3 dimensional design language, and realistic visuals. Parallax scrolling is one effect web devs and app devs use. It’s an animation technique actually. This technique was developed by the Walt Disney Company when Walt Disney needed to show animation where different layers of a scene accurately move when the camera is moved. It was a tough process.

If you don't do that and load it straight from the disk, you may have a frame drop or a late high res texture load (showing the low res version of it if it's streamed). Normally you'll load all you can fit in the system RAM at the level load.

Penguin's 'monocle' is actually explained in-game in the fluff stories in the extras. The reason he has it there is obviously the result of a fight, but why he KEEPS it is because it couldn't be removed without seriously damaging his eye and possibly even his brain.
