Genuinely one of the best changes they've made to the two new lines of products (t series refresh, and the M+) is ditching the awkward halfway house of the 13 button options, and just offering a clean 12 button layout. I've enjoyed my M12 + enough to want to have one with art, so now I have a T12 alongside my Mpress and other various options. I get newer people are attracted to more buttons, but I vastly prefer the traditional layout.
Yeah, it's good on them to have options: lots of buttons and then something more traditional, best of both worlds. Thanks for watching and weighing in!
I have to be honest, I really like the 13 button options! They don't feel as cluttered as the 16 button ones do to me, but they're still great for genres other than fighting games (I use it for shmups as well). Still, I get why they'd want to consolidate around more popular options.
Yeah, I'm a bit partial to the slightly bigger buttons like arcade sticks of old, so it's cool to have this as an option for people who feel similarly. Thanks for watching, dude! Appreciate ya!
Just purchased this after seeing your review! I was the one who asked u in Reddit PMs about those Pico FightBox models a few days ago Thanks for all you do!
Thanks, Lendin! Can't go wrong with those crystal corners. If you need one for yourself, I grabbed it from a nice etsy shop called DiscoDigital for a reasonable price. Thanks for watching!
Im glad Cosmox decided to offer the clear switches by themselves, in case you wanted to upgrade your board to the "crystal' version. Thanks for the videos!
Yeah, I completely agree with that! And if you're interested in other switch options, I'll let you know what I think of some of their other switches soon enough. Thank you for watching/commenting!
My last comment got eaten (pretty sure why) but I just wanted to say that for people who own older versions of this board, they offer the crystal switches by themselves. I replaced the reds on my older T13 and the light distribution is much more even, and it's nice to have switches without any color so they blend better with more types of artwork.
I don't see anything in the "held for review" section, but maybe your first comment will come through eventually. Sometimes if a user hasn't watched much before commenting, it gets flagged and held in limbo or something. IDK how it all works TBH. But regardless, you're right about the transparent switches when it comes to different art styles. It opens a lot more doors aesthetically. Thanks for watching!

Next one I'm really interested in is the LightFox from Speedy Labs. I've got his Sound Voltex controller and it's a delight to use.
I have that controller and plan on a video of it in July! Just lots of projects and I'm slower than I'd like to be with my editing. @@HushMySweet1 Thanks dude. I'm fine with the key caps for now, but the switches on the crystal seem nice. Guess I'll have to keep an eye out for a guide on switches 👀
Indeed you will! I've got some switch stuff coming down the pipe. Aliexpress has both 20-packs of the Crystals you saw in this video and their newer Wind Engine variety for around ~$15. Hey man. I was tempted to go for this model but my main in sf6 is zangief and I’m not sure if I’ll be able to do slides for SPD with the raised buttons. I saw you demoed that on your M16 video. Did you test that on this one? Sorry for the specific question but I haven’t been able to find an answer on this lol.
Hey! Yeah, this one has caps that extend ~4 mm above the top plexi, so the slides are passable and fairly similar to a lot of other default all-button options. So not the worst, but not its best feature either. But the caps are smooth, even on the edges, so that helps. Still, you'll like have to get a feel for the pressure and speed to do clean slides every single time.
