    Next time you're doing anything under the hood I reccomend getting Red Line tuning hood struts, it's a simple 5 minute install but it saves the hassle of having the prop rod in the way! The videos are awesome and I love following along on my ST. Keep it up Cam!

    I used the Cobb shifter plate. It bolts right to the top of the shift fork only take a couple minutes.

    For future reference, short throw shifter installs go alot smoother if you take the center console out. Takes just a few minutes, and saves you on all the stress.

    Man I’m genuinely going through a shit ton right now, and not even driving my car which is usually what calms me down and makes me happy did the trick for me today. I saw your upload and it got the first smile on my face since honestly friday... ive been so anxious and have had butterflies on my stomach and just my heart pounding really fast constantly. Your upload and watching your video really just relaxed me and made me happy for a couple of minutes which honestly is just everything I needed. I really gotta thank you for that man. Much love, i cant wait to see you progress more and more ❤️ thank you

    Just bought a Boomba Short shifter which is just like this, quarter inch taller, but has the 10-20-30% reductions, also opted for an NTC bushing for my forward and backward throws (the cushy ones).

      You aren't kidding. I skipped the thread lock, and overnight my conscience was eating away at me. Went to the store the next morning, got some blue locker and went back in there. Sure enough after just ONE day, the vertical bushing on the right side was already half way backed out! So thankful I went back in and did it the right way. Anyone reading this, use the blue thread locker or you will be stranded sooner than you think. God bless

      You won't regret it. My fourth day owning one and I never imagined having a car like this! Planning to install the JBR short shift, with metal shifter base bushings, along with the JBR weighted shift knob (black with red letters and o-ring grips) first. Then sometime later this year maybe the JBR intake and at the same time installing the JBR shift linkage metal bushings. I hope it works out for you! God is good

      Josh Mason I smoked a Mazdaspeed3 4/4 times the other night and we are both only running intake/exhaust. I’m obviously a little biased but the st is definitely faster then the speed3 and they look sexy af test drive them though!

    • @DTRGarage
      @DTRGarage 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Josh Mason stock for stock the st tends be quicker on rolls, and is faster in my experience (I own a speed3) but when you start modding and tuning I think the speed has more potential in the displacement and bigger turbo, plus the speeds sounds better imo😂

    • @interceptingfist5682
      @interceptingfist5682 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I absolutely love my ST. If you have a daily driver already and you're looking to go full send, I would go with the speed 3. Cheaper to buy so that extra money can go towards parts.

    @karllelliott681 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Well your a lot more gifted than me, that's for sure. I like your confident manner when you present these videos but please stop saying 'pull that guy off' hopefully for obvious reasons. Also I have a question. I have a Focus ST3.5 (2016) and would like to finish my build with a cat back exhaust. As an older guy I want the mod to sound more like my wife's Fiesta ST7 standard exhaust e.g. not too loud but 'burble like' at normal revs and a little more throaty under acceleration. i don't want a super loud and resonating exhaust (too old for that) can you (or anyone else) advise what you would go for. I live in the UK. Thanks in advance.

    • @Killerstick01
      @Killerstick01 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I recommend just doing a resonator delete. It makes the exhaust a little louder and you get small burbles at lower rpms. I had resonator delete first then I did a muffler delete too which made it really loud. For your case, I would recommend either resonator or muffler delete. Also saves money of a 600 dollar exhaust.

    • @karllelliott681
      @karllelliott681 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Killerstick01 Hi Sean - have gone for the resonator delete and because I am weak I also ordered a Mountune cat back exhaust (when they get them in stock) LOL. many thanks for your advice. Cheers

      @rollsroyceroyce7463 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@karllelliott681 I got the AWE track edition, I don't think it's too loud and it has some nice burbles to it. But then again, people will think one exhaust sounds loud over another while someone else won't. But gl with your adventures

    How in the HELL did you get the spring back on?!?!?! Everything went exactly how you described but you slapped it back in the car like there wasn't a spring you had to fight to get the prongs above and below the bushing. It seems impossible without taking the entire center console apart

    • @joku5150
      @joku5150 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Same, lol! He skipped that struggle and now I know why he was frustrated at the end, ROFL. I didn't want to take the whole console apart either so I went this route... I used locking needle nose vice grips to hold the spring open until I could slide it over the rubber grommet thing. (I know it's a year later, but I just did this).
