Another thing to consider when installing a short throw shifter, is that you need to make sure the force to switch gears aren't great, because with a short throw shifter, you get less leverage, and if the gearbox is of a "stiff" type with a strong detent, it can be too difficult to get it into and out of gear. I don't know if the detent in gearboxes are adjustable, but that could be a video you could host - "How to adjust your manual gearbox".

Can you teach me how to install a short throw dipstick?
Im sure Ryan can help with that or maybe Bobbie
Brucie knows a lot about cars, ask him.
That name tho, gave a like for it
Just get some strong scissors. Cut yours, and install. Makes for much faster measurements. A must have for any enthusiast.
while you've got your hood open top off the blinker fluid as well and make sure those muffler bearings are greased!
I’m working on a project 1965 mustang and these videos definitelyyyyyy help 🙏I’m only 17 and I’m learning and this breaks it down really easily
Watching this even though I have an automatic
Gonna install one of these on my 1997 Chevy Tahoe 2 door automatic.... :)
Hey Chris! I really enjoy your videos, they've helped me save so much money while doing the job right. I own a 2002 mustang and I was wondering if you could make a video of door hinge repair on a mustang. That would be a great video since you have a great way of recording and explaining the job. It would be greatly appreciated!
wow i missed this makes me happy that i now work on cars after watching you all of these years :)
That is awesome!
we need manuals again
I'm 12 I want to make a rally car when I'm older I'm watching all these vids
I made another YT channel meaning I can binge watch Crisfix because I technically haven’t watched it yet😂
Awesome!
Man would I love to see you change the shifter in an S550. You thought your control arm bolts were a bad design when you put on your angle kit. Ooooooooooh man. Took me 9 hours (I know the pros can do it in like 3-4). Love the videos, your enthusiasm is genuinely contagious.
Good videos enjoy watching from the U.K
Thanks a lot Jack!
ChrisFix no problem would be nice to see a video on how to check our car battery's to see how healthy they are 😬
