Hiking and Exploring Devils Den trail Arkansas

It was 31 degrees when we set out to hike and explore the Devils Den trail in Arkansas. This trail is full of crevasses , caves and ledges to enjoy. We climb up and down along the trail. We went over fallen logs, hiked up the pivot rocks and boulders. Our amigo Paul walked along the ledge , seeing how far he could go until the ledge narrowed. We saw many frost flowers and icicles along the way. Over all we hiked about 4.6 miles , up and down . Luckily we didn’t have any icy rocks along the way. Halfway it was time to “unwrap” our clothing as the temps went up. Devils Den Trail is located behind the Devils Den State Park visitor center and there is plenty of parking spaces. Also before you head out you can use the bathrooms at the visitors center. As always , sturdy hiking boots, hiking poles and plenty of water. Dress up for weather conditions . Enjoy and have fun
