great video! I recently picked up a Mucai mobo with a Xeon E5 2680 V3 and 16gb 2666 ddr4. Im curious if it supports just normal non ecc ram? I recently picked up 16gb 3200, 16gb 3000, and 12 gb 2666 ddr4 for $30 and was wondering if I could slap 32gb in and make an awesome budget rig for cheap! also gtx 1080s are going for about $90(no fan, add a case fan and temps are awesome) and I wanted to pair it with this, Havent been able to find many good deals on craigslist recently so I turned to aliexpress and ebay to make a great price/performance system.

Not saying it will hit 3200mhz all the time but it takes the ram with no issues. I used 32gb ddr 3200mhz. I too grab items off aliexpress. Some are great deals some you will need to research well. Hi, and welcome to the channel! Great question. No, it doesn't have the tpm2 for Windows 11 compliant. Hi there! Well, higher clock speeds are very helpful in games. And seing that most of the v4 xeons might not overclock at all you may be better off going with the 1660v4 as a sweet spot if money's tight. It's great performance for the money. I Love your content with this X99 motherboard but I have one comment: my traditional Misi Mpower X99smobo from 2014 does have 1 third gen NVME slot that is occupied since 2021 by a Samsung 970 Evo. My board was 257 and the Asus equvialants of that price had them too as alsoo the even more expensive MSI and ASUS X99 motherboards from 2014 that were 200 Euros more expensive and had onboard Wifi and maybe bleutooth in 2014.

Hey there. Tyvm! Well, that's good info to know. Ty for that info! I suppose for how expensive those boards were back then, I'm glad to know they incorporated th nvme slot on them. But wow, those prices when those boards were new kind of made them an enthusiasts boards at those prices, aye? Kinda happy I got this aftermarket junker mobo at $37. @@RememberThisTech I do not think that is a junker mobo at all. it has the features I want for my junky i7-5930K that I have ridden to hard so I can replace it with an i7-6950X as those boards alsoo were Broadwell ready per Bios update. I opted not for the boards with Wifi as they were 200 Euro more expensive, And I choose MSI for it's on board Audio boost as I use Vintage Audio for my sound and The MSi Mpower supports good old 70ties Quadro phony. Something I still have to try out (fun times but those 70ties Quadrophonic receivers are expensive)) At the moment I game with an 1977 Marantz model 1070 Amplifier with 1978 Philips 22ah487 speakers. Alsoo a fun fact.: the X99 MSi motherboards can support up to 128 GB Ram Ram with the 8 and 10 core i-7 processors (And the heap of Xeons)were the Asus X99 boards were limited by the ram controller I think to 64 GB Ram

This motherboard have DualChannel RAM not Quad! It have 4 banks RAM in DualChannel
IMO 1660 v3 is better CPU - -it's- -support- -TurboUnlock- -and- it have unlocked multiplier. (TurboUnlock work only on Xeon with locked multipiler).
1660 v4 dosn't support this mod and have locked multiplier.
