    Hello there! I am going to be building my first ever pc with this mobo-cpu combo and I am a bit concerned about maybe needing to update the motherboard's bios in advance. Hi there that's a good concern and it might not be an issue but I can't garentue it. I however used this mobo and the 8600g and didn't need a bios update for it to work. But here's info on the mobos bios flashback: Yes, the Gigabyte Eagle AX motherboard, specifically the B650 Eagle AX, features a BIOS update function called "Q-Flash Plus" which essentially acts as a BIOS Flashback feature, allowing you to update the BIOS without installing the CPU, memory, or graphics card; meaning it effectively has a BIOS Flashback capability. Key points about the Gigabyte Eagle AX BIOS update: Feature name: Q-Flash Plus Functionality: Update the BIOS using a USB drive without needing a fully assembled system How to use: Plug the USB with the BIOS file into the designated Q-Flash Plus port and press the dedicated button

    • @RememberThisTech
      @RememberThisTech 8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @gattamom Hi there. I'm sure the dehumidifier will pull a lot of water to run. First thing you should do is find out the wattage your dehumidifier uses and estimate how many hours it will run estimate the high end. Then the lights. Then you can see how many watt hours you will need to estimate how large of a batter or ecoflow unit you will need. And also how many and the wattage of pannels you will need. Note you might need more battery capacity and pannels than you think if it's cloudy for too long and can't provide enough power.

      @rasoul_a96 Hi. I would have tried to get 5600mhz or 6k ddr5 if possible as AM5 Amd cpus can benifit from higher ram speeds. The Asus mobo in question is ok for a tight. Budget. The gigabyte eagle ax b650 might have a slight edge in vrms and power delivery. But if your not going to upgrade to a higher end 7k or 9k series cpu then the Asus should be fine. Overclocking probably isn't allowed on that mobo though as many a520 a620 mobo's don't.

      @gustersongusterson4120 Hi there, and welcome to the channel! The 2680 is a decent cpu still for sure. Plus, it's a bargain price to be had to get one or even a 1660 v4. Most people never think about xeons for gaming but only server cpus or heavy multitasking workloads. Fact is, hey, who says it can't do a bit of gaming too :) Since I edit a lot of videos, I look at both gaming but editing and exporting capabilities, etc. I guess the same could be said for your purposes as you use yours for your server, and Mayne now has a bit of gaming ;) Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate it.

    Actually the FX-6300 was very popular because it was very cheap and supposedly had 6 cores. But it couldn't match the performance of Intel's quad-core i5. But that's why the FX-6300 was a very cheaper, almost half the price of i5.

      @gpubenchmarks7905 Hi from everything I've read and also I personally have installed windows 11 pro on this mobo.. here's what I've found: Yes, the ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 motherboard has a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) connector. TPM is a security component that allows encryption keys to be created in a secure environment. Explanation The ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 motherboard has a TPM connector. TPM 2.0 is required to use Windows 11. However, you can pass TPM 2.0 verification using the firmware TPM (fTPM) built into the BIOS. This means that you don't need a TPM 2.0 hardware module to use Windows 11. You can enable TPM on ASRock motherboards by entering the BIOS and navigating to the Security tab. Keep in mind that you also need certain ryzen 3000 cpus or better to officually have windows 11 support.

If it's your ram I think 48 gb is more than enough. I only run 32gb in my editing rig and never run out even exporting 4k video. Also idk but it could also be the power supply. You should be OK but it could be a stability issue as well.. see how your sys runs at 5600 or 6000 ram speed and go from there. If it's stable then consider crucial brand and swap out that skill. Or if ram works at lower speed then...

      Hi there and welcome to the channel. If you can wait I'd get he Ryzen 7700. The 8600g is great but: the 7700x is a bit faster with 2 more cores and more pcie lanes: A Ryzen 7700 has significantly more PCIe lanes than a Ryzen 8600G; the 7700 offers PCIe 5.0 lanes while the 8600G only has PCIe 4.0 lanes, with the 8600G having a total of 16 usable PCIe lanes compared to the 7700's 24 usable PCIe. Hi there and welcome to the channel. Good question. A A770 w 16gb mem does better than the 4060 in roughly 75% of game titles. I've both gpus. If you want to save a few bucks look for a 12gb Intel Arc B580 at msrp of $279. That's the newer version of the a770 and does better and uses less power . But the 770 if sub 300 is still great. Advantages of the 580 and a770 is they both have more ram for newer games 12 and 16gb vs the 8gb 4060. Hope that helps and good luck. Let me know what you choose.

      I have been doing a lot of looking on reviews and Reddit and I’m finding the 580 and a770 are not as good usually for competitive game titles, which I almost want to play exclusively. That said, I have been steered towards the rtx 3080 as from what I’ve found, most people say it is better than the 4060 and is more optimized for competitive games. Thoughts?

Both the A770 and B580 have 12gb = B580 and 16gb on the A770. Better for future games and higher resolutions that may use more Vram.
