I remember buying a used RX580 for $20. the seller says its defective because its overheating. I tested it, and it does overheat. i checked one of the screws, and lo and behold its a loose screw. I replaced the thermal paste, tightened the screw and bam, 60-75C on overclock. still working almost 3 years later.

I've bought at least this combo like 4 times and they are always a great price performance but sometimes the temps aren't great, but I do recommend you guys to try to get higher speed ram, try doing 2666mhz if the motherboard supports it, just with another kit, you will see quite a performance boost, in Fortnite which is what I benchmark before selling I could go for barely 80 at 2133mhz to 110 at 2666mhz and quite stable as well. Also, I bet Dawid is drooling over that case...he wants another one.
The E5-26xx support a maximum of 2133 Mhz DDR4. You can get most out of it by flashing a BIOS on the mobo that has turbo boost unlock exploited as well as offering memory timing. Then you can adjust your timings manually and usually go down quite a bit. Memory timings alone canm net 5-10% performance in some games.
@@b0ne91 If the mobo supports higher freq you can go higher, look at the Ryzen 3 2200g for example, it says max is 2933 but I've built at least 15 builts with 3200mhz ram, configured in the BIOS and working fine.

I would have gone mechanist x99 G7 and a E5 2673v3 and 16gb of ddr3 ecc in 4x4gb, would have cost about the same but would have gotten double the cores/threads and quad channel mem is really important for these xeons performance, like how dual channel is important for ryzen. I can personally vouch for the G7 mobo with the 12 core, although you may want to add 2 mossfet coolers to the 2 VRM controllers to the top of the board, same goes for the one in this video. Also to be aware, it uses either c226 or z77 chipsets, so huananzhi 8m-f bios is needed for the turbo unlock with Mi899

Not really. Haswell has a newer architecture than that Sandy Bridge you recommended. The E5-2640 v3 with turbo boost unlock (which is what everyone uses on X99 and why they go for X99 in the first place) will clock to 3.4 Ghz on all cores while gaming. That's 8C/16T on a 30€ CPU with recent-ish architecture and BIG cache.
Turbo boost unlock?? Last time you did a a xeon combo y'all tried to do the unlock on a locked board, this time you get an unlocked board and y'all don't even speak about it. I like the video. Very fun to watch

You should try to make your own Valve Steam Deck before Valve release theirs. Perhaps you could 3D print a case and use an APU or low profile GTX 1050/1650.
I was looking for a white case and found one that comes in white black and pink and it is a cool looking case and good price and only available in similar pink on ebay. I am going to have a pink computer why not..

You dont talk about how these Chinese xeon mobos are highly upgradeable later on and for very cheap This can liekly take a 10 core xeon with higher clock speeds and way more ram for not much extra later on down road

its a vanta twin cooler so shipped from Russia on a colourful chinese trustsed brand interesting colourful and yeeston both have very very high build quality, you know you can crank those xeons right to about 3.5/4 ghz
You can unlock turbo boost clock on this xeon and then It will run at 3.2-3.3 GHz on all cores all the time. Overall performance will be a lot better than stock 2.7 ghz
I get stuff from AliExpress sometimes it just the waiting to get it through mail that takes long. Also dawid does tech stuff did a piece about the case part.
