On the Switch Version, I completed Act 2 on Hydrocity zone and my game randomly softlocked while dropping down the hole. Luckily, I could still head to the next stage but it was kind of scary.

I got stuck in Mirage Saloon Act 1 After the Boss In Encore Mode (The act finished it just never transitioned to act 2)
Another bug: In debug mode, if you get past a Signpost by placing it during the final boss, the game will send you to Egg Reverie and you will fight the true boss with all the chaos emeralds even if you don't have them all. However, even if you win and the credits roll, you'll still get the bad ending and no chaos emeralds will be on your save file
Yeah, however its intencional. As this was done to avoid people cheating to unlock the true ending.

Glitch: if you go to hydrocity zone with knuckles and with all chaos emeralds, turn super next the spikes beside the half pipe thing before the boss and you clip through the ceiling

Tha Duffster most of them were already being used before this video even happened, most notably the Knuckles in Sonic's GH1 which is the current WR start in Knuckles TA

I was playing Mania on my friends switch and was on chemical plant zone, and glitched into one of the loop walls. Also, in sonic classic collection, I did the Blue super sonic glitch which was really dope

I once did a glitch where I had debug mode on, and when I beat Metallic Madness Act 1 by skipping the boss and activating a non-debug sign post, Act 2 had nothing but collision of the main level, crushers, and Eggman tiles. There weren't even lazers, or even screen locks, a boss, and the capsule! Also, debug wouldn't let me place things. I call it the "Phantom Madness" glitch. (I think I'm the first to discover this :D)

Star dust speed way act 2 has a glitch involving a rocket and a stretchy thing, jump on the rocket near the top of the stage and move left on the rocket so when it explodes you'll land on a stretchy thing on sit still for a bit and the stretchy thing will despair while you're on it so you get stuck

I dunno if the glitch is new, but I've found out that if you activate super sonic just as you take damage you become blue super sonic as well, however you also loose all the collision and you can't interact with springs, enemies or even rings. The only way to get out of this is to restart the stage or exit as for some reason sonic ignores the ten minute timer as well. It's weird lol. Try it for yourselves.

if you use debug mode and use the super monitor as soon as you hit it go into debug and find the spin ball thing put sonic on it he will spin there for a bit then he will move and you get blue super sonic easy done

I found this one glitch in Mirage Saloon Act 1 that came up while I was trying to do the softlock glitch. Apparently, if you restart the act during the boss fight, then sometimes, Knuckles' sprite won't appear, and Knuckles won't be on the plane anymore. It still acts as if Knuckles is on the plane. I don't know what causes this glitch, but it's pretty random and pretty cool.
The Mania does not even stop here.
1:40 on my first playthrough that happened to me.....TWICE! So now I have a mini heart attack every time I beat that boss.

You are missing the Lamp Post Bonus Stage glitch, where you are allowed to take as many special stages as possible, even if you hit the previous lamp post then the next back and forth.

There’s one simple glitch to do, and yet I discovered now.
First, you’ll need an electric shield. Next, go to a ring with an enemy next to it. Touch the enemy before the ring goes to you. If this happens, the ring(s) will scatter somewhere else.

despite watching this vid after the game was released i knew about the press garden act 2 boss glitch as ive seen it happen live, had no clue how to do it though
Hi Andy, I found a game crashing glitch,
Start up the game, click the button to brings you to the Game Select, back out
Hold down Y and B until the press any buttons appears, when while still holding those buttons press another button
You should be at an old school stage select
Go to Chemical Plant act 2 with debug mode enabled,
Go to one of the bonus stages from the checkpoint, you have to win at it,
Go to another bonus stage from another checkpoint, you have to win at it as well,
When sonic (tails or knuckles) go to grab the 2nd mettle, the game should crash
that seems absurdly convoluted and not something that anyone would do naturally.

TBH, I didn't intend to, I loaded up Chemical Plant act 2 with the old style debug menu, I finished 2 bonus stages and just before I collected the metal on the 2nd one my game crashed, I found this on complete accident

You missed a few. I’ve played the game 5 times and found some. In the Flying Battery Act 2 boss, you can glitch inside the Spider. In the Metal Sonic fight, occasionally the right arm doesn’t hurt you. In Lava Reef Zone, if you’re under one of those falling rocks that float on the lava, you can phase through the ground and get soft locked in a lava pit. Poor Sonic.
It can't be a Sonic game without Glitches.

Another Glitch: Using Debug mode, if you place a goal sign in the final boss area, it brings you to the Egg Reverie Zone/Boss, even if you aren’t playing as Sonic. The fight actually works as normal with the other characters, and when you beat Egg Reverie, it plays the regular cutscene. If you place a goal sign in Egg Reverie and interact with it, you instantly die, likely due to Super form getting deactivated. However, if you use Debug Mode to prevent yourself from dying, after the score is tallied up, it takes you back to the title screen. Another way to get into Egg Reverie Zone (I think it’s Plus only)with other characters is getting there normally, then placing a cycle box (After Ray’s 1-Up) and hitting the box with whichever character you want to have. However, they won’t be able to fly like usual until they are knocked into the air. One final thing is the flying animations. Sonic, Tails, Mighty, and Ray use the moderate running animation,and Knuckles uses his gliding animation, which makes me think that everyone was able to get into Egg Reverie instead of just Sonic.

If you're in Studiopolis Zone Act 2, after defeating the boss, you can knock the sign post out of bounds. Using the Thunder Shield as Sonic, you can bounce the sign post over the top of the screen, and it will not come back down. Apparently, the sign post considers the top of the screen to be solid ground, and the sign landing on it will end the stage like normal.

Fantastic. In Sonic 3, we had a gold Sonic with invincibility that doesn't jump as high or run as fast as Super Sonic and in Mania, we have a blue Super Sonic without ANY superpowers.

Hey guys! I found a new glitch in the Egg reverie fight!
Yesterday when I was fighting the phantom king. I took damage, hit him and got pushed away at the same moment, but he did not dissapear, and neither did eggman appear so I thought I didn't hit him and continued the fight as nothing had happened. Soon after that I hit eggman, and then suddently he exploded! I hadn't destroyed the phantom king so he appeared, but it seemed like he had more health than normal. Whenever I hit him eggman did not appear. Finally the heavy king exploded but no portal had appeared, so now the game was softlocked.
I haven't found any footage of the glitch (so far).
I had a similar glitch with eggman. He was just starting his attack animation and I hit him. He stayed on screen so I hit him twice. It then happened again later in the fight. I ended up killing him in 6 cycles. However, he came back the 7th time I hit phantom king, but he had the defeated sprite. I hit him again and then finished off phantom king and... eggman never reappeared so I had to restart the fight
Cameron O'Neil I Beat eggman before phantom king but it didn't soft lock I beat phantom king then get sent to the cutsceen where you beat eggman and the portal appears and didn't get soflocked and also I did it with debug mode but eggman was holding nothing and I didn't know where the phantom ruby was

I’ve actually got a glitch for the final boss. I don’t remember how to pull it off, but basically you need to die (along with Tails) but quickly use debug to come back to life and when the hands grabs Sonic, the game crashes. Again I don’t remember how to pull it off, but basically you need debug mode and Tails in the fight
I found another glitch, like the blue super sonic glitch when you get turned small in metallic madness zone if you hold up and then turn to super sonic you get frozen whilst spinning in the air while the super music plays
