He missed a glitch actually, I call it Modern 3D in 2D. It’s in Crisis City Act 2. Once I got to the part where Sonic goes to the 2D section, I skipped the 2D trigger, and made him walk more than left and right. It’s like in Sky Sanctuary Act 1, but without any shields, and springs

Umm,I found a glitch in Crisis City:On the part when buildings explode and Sonic is flying boost right as soon as you can and you'll have 3D movement in a 2D part.

Jarred Vislocky I believe there was a glitch in Sonic 4 that allowed you to either stand on a vertical slope like that one, or the middle of a loop (i don't remember which)

There is actually another glitch on the XBox 360 Version of Sonic Generations. I'm not sure exactly how its triggered, I think if you like jerk the control stick left and right repeatedly while Metal Sonic (In his Rival Battle) is attacking, you can see Classic Sonic in 3D, but you cant really go far, as you should die at some point. Again, I dont know how exactly how its triggered, but it definitely exist (on the XBox 360)

Oh god damn, that Shadow glitch happened to me the first time i played the game! I was searching for him for like 15 whole minutes until i found him running next to a wall, and i had to restart the fight, CURSE YOU SHADOW!! (you could of imagined how confused i was XD)

The glitchy ring physics is the best thing about this game, and Generations is already great.
A glitch i found was in the shawdow boss fight.when he does his special,when he lands if you get in front of him shadow will just be sking in air.if you hit him or continue without him the glitch will correct it's self and shadow will be back to normal.id k if they have fixed it but I have done at least 20 time before and it's fun.
Also we get to see what classic sonic dying looks like in 3D

Another glitch to mention: If you slow down before shadow throws his final attack, he will run until he hits a point and as long as you are behind him, he will just be stuck in a running animation not moving anywhere until you run a little bit down the track, then he'll catch up.

now that shadow is immortal running against a wall and the rings re-spawn you can go around the stage an infinite amount of times and get an infinite amount of lives.
*also I did the glitch and attacking shadow makes him have an infinite invincibility frame*

I found a glitch in the collection room when your in there, jump onto the chair hold left the whole time then jump then hold b or o while jumping and sonic should slide out of the room
you can also weirdly move faster there. I was able to outrun the camera. just by spin dashing/boosting, also when you turn for a few frames sonic is facing forward. as classic sonic, let him go into a place where he puts up his hand and faces behind you while he is facing towards you. enjoy the look on his face! its not as fun with modern sonic
also slide boosting. crouch and boost. modern sonic will slide while boosting, but just for a short time. if you dont hold it though, but keep tapping, it can last forever.

in green hill zone act 1 I had the homing attack equipped, I was going super fast, and I tried to hit a motobug, but it dashed at me, and I missed, and when trying to hit it again it was intabgible. I couldn't hit it, but it still reacted to me. then we were the best of freinds!

xRePullse I found a new glitch in city escape when the gun truck comes then u need to get on the buildings and stop boosting then turn super sonic then u wont and u will glitch out
One thing you forgot: during the Metal Sonic fight, on a life loss, it's possible for the victory cutscene to play in platforming view with visible geometry not loaded, after which the screen fades to white and the only way out is to restart the whole game. It occurred to me once on the PC version on my first playthrough of the fight and is documented on TH-cam.

Having played Sonic Generations when 9? Guess you're no more than 13 right now.
I actually have a solution on to why the game crashes at 12:40, the game likely crashes due to sonic going outside of the barrier of the 2d section. Since the rocket just launches you up wherever sonic is, it can break many 2d barriers. My guess is that the slope is curved at an angle where using the rocket can launch you out of the map. I've done this without my game crashing and sonic basically just skydives in mid air

My theory for the rocket wisp crash glitch: because the rocket wisp is only meant to be used for upwards movement, the game thinks that since you use it to go upwards, it needs to rotate itself to move you upwards. Since the game tries to turn itself, it is using too much data to do so, causing the game to crash.
This is just my theory and I am not saying that it is correct, just giving an idea

This happened to me in sonic unleashed, I remember in that one 2d chun nan stage, i got up to a spring that was pointing to the left, i don't remember exactly what happened, but the game just crashed.
I had a hilarious glitch that happened once and I could never replicate it again, but I had the game in Windows mode because shit laptop at the time, and sonic became gigantic like he was HUUUUGE

So, 3D playable Classic Sonic mod wasn't originally a mod...It was inspired!
In the Shadow rival battle (Hard Mode), get the Sonic Power Up and don't hit any of the meteorites. You and Shadow will be locked in an automated running section. You will only have sideways movement, although you can jump, stomp, and slide. Shadow will be stuck in one place. You can attack him, but he won't take damage. The homing lock-on cursor will constantly appear. I don't know if it was already discovered, but you should try it. I did this on the PS3.
Edit: Oh yeah, when you jump, the camera moves crazy fast as it follows Sonic, and the only way to end the glitch is to restart the stage. *This glitch only works in Hard Mode.*

Sega should really make another Sonic Adventure game. If they're really having that much trouble coming up with ideas here's what I've thought up.
[Story Line]:
The plot can begin in Crisis City, where Silver and Blaze are battling Eggman Nega. After defeating Eggman Nega, Silver and Blaze attempt to take back the Chaos Emeralds Nega stole, but are ambushed by a mysterious assailant using Chaos Control. Silver and Blaze are defeated in seconds!
Meanwhile in present time Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails are tracking Dr. Eggman with the help of Team Chaotix. The three leads Sonic had his friends to Eggman's location where they battle, but in the middle of the fight, Sonic accidently causes the reactor core of Eggman's battle mech (which is using three Chaos Emeralds) to go into a meltdown and induce a Resonance Cascade, opening a tear through time and space.
Back in the future Silver and Blaze are about to get executed by their unknown attacker, but are saved at the last minute by the Resonance Cascade created by Sonic. Nega, Silver, Blaze, and the unknown assailant are caught in the tear's gravity well and pulled into Sonic's timeline, but are separated. Silver however managed to get a brief look at their attacker, and believes that it was Sonic who attacked them. Silver goes out with Blaze to search for Sonic hoping to find answers.
Back at G.U.N HQ Shadow detects the Resonance Cascade and goes to investigate to make sure that the reality of time and space has not been damaged. Shadow then uses Chaos Control to seal the tear and suspects the Doctor was up to no good again, and ventures to apprehend and question the Doctor. After hacking into one of Eggman's computers Shadow finds a tech signature in the old ruins of Soleanna in Kingdom Valley, and goes off to confront him. Upon Shadow's arrival he discovers that it wasn't Eggman who was hiding in the ruins, but Eggman Nega. Shadow questions the Doctor who is confused by Shadow's questions tells him that he shouldn't ask his creator so many questions. Shadow somewhat annoyed with the Doctor tells him that he is not his creator and that he was born not made. Shadow and Nega then engage in a fight which is broken up by the same assailant that attacked Silver and Blaze. Shadow however proves to be a solid match for the assailant, but is shocked when he gets a clear look at who his attacker is.
Meanwhile Sonic who is pursuit of a fleeing Eggman is informed by Team Chaotix that Eggman appears to be headed for the Egg-Carrier and that the Egg-Fleet is nearby. Sonic fails to catch up with Eggman, and use the Blue Tornado to pursue Eggman, but are shot down by the Egg-Fleet. The trio continue on foot jumping from ship to ship pursuing the Egg-Carrier. The three land on the Egg-Carrier but are confronted by Metal-Sonic whom they defeat.
Elsewhere Silver and Blaze make their way through Eggman's base searching for any leads to Sonic's location, and spot Sonic and his friends leaving on the Blue Tornado heading for the Egg-Fleet. Silver then ventures to the Egg-Fleet in pursuit of Sonic where they find him with a defeated Metal-Sonic. Silver confronts Sonic asking him why he is helping Eggman Nega, confused Sonic states he is not helping Eggman Nega. Blaze then explains that they were attacked by a mysterious assailant who appeared to be a hedgehog like Sonic. Sonic suspects that Shadow might have something to with this confusion and offers to help Silver if he helps them catch Eggman and take back the Emeralds he stole. Silver and Sonic then continue on towards Eggman's control room where Eggman summons an upgraded version of the Egg-Emperor and battles Silver and Sonic, but is defeated. After taking back the emeralds Sonic holds his end of the deal and goes with Silver in pursuit of Shadow whom according to Team Chaotix is currently in the old ruins of Soleanna in Kingdom Valley. As Silver and Sonic make their way to Shadow, Shadow discovers that Silver and Blaze's mysterious attacker is a doppelganger of Shadow, only instead of having crimson stripes, the doppelganger has yellow stripes. Shadows asks who doppelganger is who replies that his name is, Streak. Nega explains that he needed a weapon of pure ultimate power to destroy Silver and so he took the DNA of Shadow, The Ultimate Life Form and created a clone, Streak. Nega then orders Streak to destroy Shadow and the two begin to battle. After a grisly death match one of Nega's recon mechs report Silver and Sonic's approach. Nega and Streak make a hasty retreat leaving Shadow to deal with Silver and Sonic who accuse Shadow of betrayal and helping Eggman Nega. Shadow tries to explain the situation to them, but is forced to defend himself when the two attack him. After gaining the upper hand in the fight against Silver and Sonic, Blaze and Knuckles step in to assist. Shadow who is extremely exhausted from his fight with Streak starts to lose the upper hand, but is saved when Rouge and E-123 Omega arrive to aid him. Seeing no proper resolve insight Shadow uses Chaos Control to teleport Rouge, Omega and himself out of Kingdom Valley. Shadow then brings Rouge and Omega up to date about Eggman Nega and Streak and plan to go after them after Shadow has had time to heal.
As Nega and Streak search for a new place to set up camp, Streak begins to experience visions of the Ark, Maria, and Black Doom causing him to wonder if he really was biologically engineered, or if he was born, and that Nega is lying to him. Nega decides to seek out Dr. Eggman and form an alliance with him.
Back in Kingdom Valley Sonic and Silver begin to try and track down Shadow again, but with Chaos Control tracking him will be difficult. They decide to go to the Ark and use its computers to track the energy emitted from Chaos Emeralds. They head back to what's left of the Egg-Fleet and find the crashed Blue Tornado which Tails repairs and upgrades using parts found from Eggman's mechs. The group then use the Blue Tornado to travel to the Ark where they begin to track Shadow's movements using the Chaos Energy emitted from his Chaos Emerald. Tails and Knuckles decide to stay behind in the Ark while Sonic, Blaze, and Silver go after Shadow who appears to be headed for one of Eggman's bases in a grand canyon.
Shadow in pursuit of Eggman Nega follows him through a grand canyon that hides one of Eggman's bases. They make their way through Eggman's defenses and are confronted by Metal-Sonic who was sent to deal with Shadow. Shadow learns from a transmission that Nega and Eggman have successfully formed an alliance and are devising a plan to crush Sonic and Silver, but can't have Shadow warning them and orders Metal-Sonic with a swarm of battle mechs to destroy Shadow. Shadow easily destroys the mechs and defeats Metal-Sonic. Shadow continues onward toward Eggman and Nega's location.
As Shadow continues on towards the duo's alliance Silver and Sonic arrive in the grand canyon in pursuit of Shadow, believing Shadow is attempting to regroup with Dr. Eggman. They're delayed when they encounter two Egg-Wyverns remotely controlled by Nega and Eggman. Shadow reaches central command where Streak ambushes Shadow. At this point Streak is having visions and flashbacks of Shadow's past, and calls Shadow "fake". Shadow confused by Streak's comment reminds him that he is a clone, which Streak bluntly rejects claiming that he had memories. Shadow then realizes that somehow his own memories got passed onto Streak, and he's beginning to "remember". Shadow tries to calm down the confused hedgehog, but Streak responds by attacking Shadow and the two battle again. Shadow eventually defeats Streak who accuses Shadow of allowing Maria to die. Shadow states he did everything to save Maria, which Streak replies that he didn't try everything then reveals that he plans on creating another Resonance Cascade to travel back in time and save Maria. Shadow tells Streak that doing such a thing would jeopardize the reality of time and space, but Streak replies that he doesn't care, a soul like Maria deserves a second chance, and he's going to give it to her. He then performs Chaos Control and escapes leaving Shadow to deal with Sonic and Silver who arrive as Streak makes his leave. Rouge and Omega decide to stay behind and deal with Sonic and Silver while Shadow goes after Streak. Shadow then makes his leave while Silver, Sonic, and Blaze engage Omega and Rouge in a fight.
Shadow pursues Streak who has turned against Nega and Eggman and defeats them in a fight taking their Chaos Emeralds. Shadow asks them where Streak has gone which Eggman replies that he's headed for the laboratories. Shadow hurries after Streak who has begun to initiate a melt down using a reactor using the Chaos Emeralds and creates another Resonance Cascade. Streak enters the tear with Shadow following close behind. They both land in different areas of the Ark over 50 years ago when Maria was still alive and G.U.N was assaulting the Ark. Shadow fights his way through the corrupt G.U.N agents to Maria and himself knowing that's where Streak will be headed. He and Streak are delayed by G.U.N battle mechs though but are easily destroyed. Despite all his efforts Streak finds Maria dead, the Shadow of the past having just been sent away in an escape pod, and Maria's killers informing dispatch of the situation. Enraged Streak murders the G.U.N agents and carries a dying Maria back to the Resonance Cascade tear with Shadow in hot pursuit.
Back in present time, Rouge and Omega finally reach out to Sonic and Silver and inform them of the situation. The group then follows Shadow's trail and find the Resonance Cascade created by Streak which Silver repairs using his Psychokinesis and Chaos Control however this causes Streak and Shadow to land in another area of their reality. Sonic asks Tails and Knuckles about Shadow's location who tells them that there are two Chaos Emerald signatures coming from the Egg-Fleet that weren't there before. The group head off for the Egg-Fleet fighting their way through Eggman's mech until they rendezvous with Shadow who tells them that Streak was heading for what's left of the Egg-Carrier with what appeared to be a mortally wounded Maria. The group storm the Egg-Carrier and confront Streak once more who has activated one of Eggman's battle mechs and unleashes it on Shadow, Sonic, and Silver. The three destroy the machine and continue towards the laboratory rooms on the Egg-Carrier where they confront Streak. Streak succumbs to the trio, but not before revealing his "success". He took Maria's dying body and transferred her conscious and memories into a new body, although he couldn't create another human body without human DNA he had to settle with what he had available, hedgehog DNA, thus creating Maria a new yellow hedgehog body. With everyone distracted with what Streak had created, Streak steals all the Chaos Emeralds and uses an escape pod to escape then heads for the Ark. Shadow, Sonic, and Silver fearing the worst head for the control room of the Egg-Carrier where Shadow commandeers the ship's controls and sets a course for the Ark.
Meanwhile Streak makes his way towards the Ark's control room where Tails and Knuckles are. Knuckles, mistaking Streak for Shadow confronts Streak, but is easily taken down along with Tails. Maria who is now awake, and also mistakes Streak for Shadow asks why he hurt Knuckles and Tails. Streak simply replies they were in the way, and uses the emeralds on the Ark intending to use the Eclipse Cannon to destroy G.U.N HQ, as punishment for their sins. Maria however thwarts Streak's plans my swiping the blue Chaos Emerald and runs off much to Streak's annoyance.
Shadow and the others arrive at the Ark where Streak has reprogrammed G.U.N's defenses to attack them. They fight their way through the Ark where they bump into the fearful, and confused Maria. Still thinking Shadow and Streak are the same, Maria attempts to run, but Shadow stops her asking where Streak is. Seeing her confusion Shadow explains the situation to her, but she still is reluctant to cooperate, until Streak appears on the intercom demanding Maria return the Chaos Emerald. Maria gives the Emerald to Shadow who goes after Streak and confronts him in Ark's control room. Silver, Shadow, and Sonic fight Streak in a Finale fight, Streak using all of the Ark's defense systems to his every advantage to try and defeat the three heroes. The three eventually defeat him, Streak however uses Chaos Control to escape vowing to destroy Shadow, and punish humanity.

+One Winged Angel Not knowing much about Sonic, this sounds pretty cool but at the same time, sounds like a mixture of Sonic 06 and Shadow the Hedgehog. Would be a bit redundant for Silver to once again be after Sonic but you fix it with Silver actually talking to Sonic instead of going in for the kill though I find it odd they both pretty much go into attack mode for Shadow. Either way, sounds like a cool concept in itself, sounds like it blends a few aspects of different Sonic games together and I think the comics? I'd play it.

Sonic games are so fucking broken and I love it.
It's pretty much what defines the series now, and I honestly think it's quite endearing.
Maybe I'm a bit biased from my childhood nostalgia, but I just find it so amusing that literally every new Sonic game has tons of glitches. It makes me smile.

Hey guys I just found a glitch it involves super sonic and time eater
What you have to do is go to the time eater stage and hit its core once then when it switches to the 2d area or what I like to call it the "classic area" then hit the core once the blur comes instantly switch you will now be experiencing super sonic backwards

a+start, if you use the invisible green hill zone glitch for sonic
generations and turn super sonic before you jump and boost right, then
super sonic will fly higher than normal and sometimes phase through some
of the stage. It can get you a good score.
