Hey, my battery is %10 rn and I go to plug in my charger to the wall and then my plug to my battery and it starts up for a second and then the fan just stops and the indicator light just stays green. What’s my problem?
@@coolshariq if it’s after a long ride you have to let the battery cool down, I usually wait about 30 minutes, if it’s still not charging you have to jump the battery
Anyone manage to get to bottom of this problem I am having same issue battery is on 10% and charger starts for 5 seconds then just gives of green light
I bought this one ($140) plus the ~$25 xt60 to surron adapter: litespeedbikes.myshopify.com/products/copy-of-72v-2-12amp-adj-charger Would be happy to sell both, since I don't need them any longer lol
I’m having the same issue, just got back from a test ride with about 67% and went to plug it in and charger didn’t recognize the battery was plugged in 😢
Hi I saw your video. Very good solution. Mine is doing the same thing. (Not charging) I’m in Boulder CO May I ask for full deta of the adapter and charger?
@@mcfancyo my battery is 5 years old and it has lost alot of range. Drains twice as fast now, more so in the winter. Then it quit taking a charge at 30%. I tried all the tricks to start charging again with the stock charger but it never worked. The battery set around for a couple weeks slowly draing what juice it had left until the % screen no longer would light up. Do you think I should get the 2 amp charger to revive it? What do you do with these batteries after they totally brick?
What is that number 85 on the battery indicating? 85 % charged? Mine is at 82% charged it for the first time and nothing. How big is your Sur ron battery? And how do you know what Voltage it is? Thx
This exactly same thing happing on Talaria Sting MX3 battery it won't charge at all i tried all sequence unplug and plug and plug back in more than dozen times nothing seems to work at all battery barely been used i let the battery sit all last winter battery is at 0% percent is there any solution for Talaria sting MX3 ? I tried your link below it giving me error.
It should be the same exact thing for the talaria- the battery has to be charged to something above the low voltage cutoff, otherwise the charger (which communicates to the battery) won't charge it
@@mcfancyo Was there a specific feature of the litespeed charger that you looked for? I actually have a 52v sur-ron battery (bought for a project, not an actual sur-ron) so I wouldn't be able to use your charger... but the 'normal' battery jump-start process hasn't worked for me yet. Do I need to find one that explicitly states it _doesnt_ have a low voltage detection or something?
Great video & good to know, I also asked my local dealer & he said not to go lower than 15%!
Great idea McFancy!!!
Any working links to buy this charger?

You ever figure it out?
I'm having the exact same issue on my Talaria Sting battery it's dead at 0 %

do you still have the charger if so i’ll buy it?
Mine did the same thing but I was nowhere near low voltage. Battery reads 77%. How much did you spend on the charger?

Same thing just happened to me. 76% and the charger won't turn on.
Let the batterie cool down before a charge. If its not at 0% and wont charge after à cool down , the bms is fried.
Thank you for the good video. My battery doesn't want to charge anymore too. Did you measure the residual voltage beforehand?
Friend, I have the same problem, can you help me, where can I get that charger that you have?

Before you put it on the lightspeed charger would the power screen on the battery light up or was it just black?
It was totally black
At what percentage does stock charger work again? Having the same problem from not charging battery for a couple of months.
I tried at 10% and the stock one worked again. With that being said, I used the aftermarket one to bring it up to 100%. Haven't had any issues since.
@@mcfancyo does that mean the stock charger won’t charge when my bike is above 80%? And that’s why the light shows green?
@@invasion1824 the opposite. Stock charger won't charge when batt is < a certain %

Thanks for the info! I going nuts over here!
I almost decided my sanity was worth ~$1500 and bought another battery. This was an act of pure desperation.
it was enough to push the battery check button and the charge started...
I’ve got some issues with my bike, any chance you could help & take a look at the short video I’ve uploaded. Thanks
Great, so we need to purchase another tool to get our battery charging, what the actual fuck
Yah

Your links don't work. It looks like they went out of business 😢
Bummer! Thanks for pointing this out. I've only needed my charger one time (after dropping below 15%). If anyone needs/wants it I'll sell cheap 😆
