Another big tip for anyone learning is that even though proper body position appears “locked and rigid” you want to have your hips “unlocked” to allow your body to react to any unexpected bucks. You don’t want to have a death grip with your arms and hands because it’ll create that loop effect, grip with your knees (pigeon toe on the pegs will help). Great tutorial man!
You really rattled off all the things I didn't even realize I was doing back when I was younger. Was shopping around for a decent full suspension mountain bike then I discovered the Surron and I think for the money it's a hell of a bike. Rode one once and I'm sold. Keep up the good work dude
Great video!! Love watching y’all rip it!! So…45 degrees, throttle control, hit the lip, “wududududu”, steeze, land. Seems easy enough!😜 nah forreal tho, seriously great tutorial! I can’t even jump my mtn bike yet and you explained it in a way that makes it seem possible haha🙏🏼 Keep up the great content man
On dirtbikes i always used to blip the throttle, then i was taught to let off the throttle right before you leave the lip of the jump and that tip made jumping WAY easier and smoother.
Yeah even Hemecula mentioned you saying your the only guy really doing things on the Surron. I think your JB O'Neil's buddy that use to race MX. I know JB pretty well from boarding and I raced MX my whole life. Got hurt to much and after a real attempt to go pro when I was about 20 I got hurt again and again getting ready for Loretta's or Ponca or Mini Os. Wasn't in the cards I guess but awesome to see you not just getting older and giving like most do. Been following you a lot lately. Keep it up man. I am hoping my back will get better cause I would love to get back into racing the over 40 at Loretta's maybe but it's not looking good as far as old injuries acting up.
I been sending it off of ledges steps and all of drops and stuff but for some reason I have a fear wall keeping me from jump up off of stuff.. seeing your buddy progress definitely helped. But damn no other riders out here yet to help with the motivation of riding with some one. Come out to nor cal sacramento / rio Linda and hit our bmx tracks some time would love to meet ya and ride
you can hit the frame with a center punch a bunch of times under the bearing race it with make the hole smaller and holed the race tighter, old school machinist trick
Sweet tutorial man...thank you. Do you keep your legs and back in the same position the whole time or do you use your legs to hop it up like you might on a pedal bike? I think I try to stand in the air or something and feels like imma eat shit lol.
I miss riding out hard with the boys that were born to be air born. That was on bike back in the late 80s and all of 90’s.. the ones meant to do this have a natural body language.. their bodies are like stanced out for this lol👌
If you hit it right the bike will naturally ‘arc’ to the right angle. You can also adjust by pushing forward or pulling back on the bars, as well as gassing or pulling back brake. Practice on way smaller stuff than this then work up!
bro i love/sub this channel but if youre gonne do tutorials you need to get an editor bc you need visual examples of what youre explaining while youre explaining it. keep it up
dude EXACTLy the video I've been waiting for, much appreciated
Of course man!! More to come 🤘🤘

Yeww thanks homie I will!!! JB is the man that's who got me to start a TH-cam!
More power to you!! ebike specific technique vids are lacking!! Keep em coming!!
I know!! More tutorials coming soon!!
nice man good to learn that constant throttle, I always thought you need to give it a bit more right before the jump so thats good to know. 🤙🏼🤙🏼
💯🫡
Sometimes you do… but the older school way on a dirt bike was to do that and preload. New school is go faster with no preload to get the distance.
@@se11459 gotcha 🤙🏼
Same here until I rode a bike with a throttle for the first time and looped it off a jump 😂

Do recommend upgrading the front shocks b4 you start jumping big jumps?
The stock forks are fine for smaller jumps you really only need suspension for bigger style jumps and drops!
brizzymo video per usual
Let’s gooo
Sweet tutorial man...thank you. Do you keep your legs and back in the same position the whole time or do you use your legs to hop it up like you might on a pedal bike? I think I try to stand in the air or something and feels like imma eat shit lol.
Once your in the air keep the same position but be loose with your arms and hips!!
@@tallonpemberton you're a legend man, thank you... keep it real and stay safe!

yo sick videos!
Thanks homie! More to come!!
Try the warp 9 stem lock to secure the headset.
Yeah I’ve got one! Definitely needed it you’re jumping Surrons like we are!
Was really hoping the jb weld would work, sorry brotha. Glad you are getting a fresh bike soon though
It way better than before it did something!
Make video "how to do whip on surron". Please))
Soon!!
How you now What speed you need at a gap-jump? You can’t practice because you crash at the landing side 😅
Practice makes perfect!
Work on that Truck its a great Truck glad you got the helmet
Oh I know I think its either the fuel pump or a vacuum leak just need to figure out which one it is!
do you recommend regen for those jumps?
I have mine on but I’m sure they both feel pretty similar whatever you’re most comfortable with!
how do i stop landing on my front wheel so much. I hit the jumps and i clear em but i land really nose heavy.
how do i land without getting whiskey throttle? I feel like when i land my throttle hand goes crazy and dips down to where it gives power
Yo you should try the surron ultra bee
I definitely wanna try it soon!
👍
Yewww!!
Thanks
Wow I can easily see my step son on this
He’d love it!!
Ayyo algo comment nice video bruh
Thanks homie!!🤘🤘
How do you control the angle of the bike when landing
If you hit it right the bike will naturally ‘arc’ to the right angle. You can also adjust by pushing forward or pulling back on the bars, as well as gassing or pulling back brake. Practice on way smaller stuff than this then work up!
Wanna see you ride eastside with that surron that would prolly be hard to do.
HAHA that'd be insane!!
I haven't jumped my bomber clone much cause im more afraid of breaking the bike than flying.
Hahah I feel that!!
How do you wheelie..?
I’ll be doing a tutorial soon!
I literally just watched another one of your videos and searched how to jump my Surron
yoo what range do you normally get on the surron
It really depends on how fast I’m riding my Surron but average I would say about 35 miles
Amazon!
Were is this in Austin
Near the airport!
"im not gonna really ride today" *proceeds to whip up an entire english breakfast
🤣🤣🤣
Your shits sick bro
Thanks homie!!
If you ever do get that new bike you shoukd hit me up I would probably buy your old frame
Forsure man I think I'm going to keep it for a backup and for friends to ride!
Where do you buy the tires you have
Shinko tires can be purchased on Amazon
Stock wheels buy Shinko 241 size 2.75
how old is Tallon
What forks does he have
Fox 40s!!
So steeezy
