- Got my 14" Klock Werks Sport Flare Windshield installed and out for a ride.
Also breaking in my new Mustang seat and getting closer to that 500 mile mark. Need to keep the RPMs below 3000.
Beautiful Michigan spring day.

I put the 9" flare on my bike, i am 5'7" and I feel like I could go a little higher. I wish they had something between the 9" and the 14" sport models.
Let me tell you something
I love to hit the throttle (im sorry my likes) and im telling you on 90 100 120 mph the front end with the sport 14 is solid (no light shakes) such a huge difference. The touring is ok for touring 70mph but more resistance stop quicker need to believe more efforts equals more gas, now harley gives you a Demo label for a full day, i did a day with each of then, i ride with a baseball hat (dont like ref cheeks after) i have a string to the hat (just in case) it had never drop my hat a moment. The ergonomics and science in those shield are superb. Get it you will gain it on safety $249 dollars wont compare to the job well done 👍
Thanks for the shoutout
Is that the tint one?
Yes. Dark Smoke is how it's labeled.
Did you go 14 “because you ride 2 up? And does the Mrs get wind buffing
That was part of the reason. With the stock shield I was getting a lot of wind in the face. My wife has not complained of any buffeting.
I’m on the fence, 9”or 14”. With comms we can’t hear what either is saying when at highway speed.
75% of people would enjoy the 14, much better
- All else being equal.. taller & light smoke or clear. For Highway trip speeds 😊
Did you install windshield trim?
I didn't. Yet. I am thinking of doing the LED trim from Custom Dynamics
Just wondering how tall you are, im 6'4, so if your in my neighborhood I would like to know if you like it or would go to the taller touring shield they make if you had a "do over". Thanks for your response.
I am 5' 11". This one does good for me. It seems the wind is just at the top of my helmet. I would have liked to test a taller one but I am happy with this one.
How about ya talk about the shield a bit more
