Hey...just stumbled on your videos....I work for Klockwerks here in Mitchell, South Dakota, and on behalf of the company, I thank you for such a thorough review. Yes, you're still going to get wind in your face...part of the reason we ride, right? But the Flare cleans up the wind and eliminated the "bobble-head" effect. It's also a performance windshield putting as much as 15 pounds of down-force on the front end at highway speeds to, like you said, hug the ground. We all know that the bike's front ends get light at highway speeds. These are wind tunnel designed and Bonneville Salt Flats proven. We now have them in an array of colors to really make your bikes look great. Again, on behalf of Klockwerks, thank you!
I really appreciate you promoting and challenging us to practice slow speed maneuvering. Great confidence is paramount to safety and protecting our beautiful rides.
I like the 9” windshield mainly because I put the 9” black on my 2021 Road Glide Special. Looks good and functionality is great for me. Oh did I mention I’m 6’5”. Enjoy your ride 👍🏾
The 9” looks cool, but I went with the 14” on my RG. I wear a half helmet most of the time, and I don’t get any buffeting. My glasses stay still and my helmet doesn’t move. Very happy with it. The 14 still looks good on the bike. 👍 I keep the top vent closed.
The 9” looks great and the bike is looking awesome. I personally think I would go with the 14” for the type of highway miles I do. Just a little more protection from bugs and small stones, I’m all about the comfort and protection. Keep up the great video Robert.
Robert. Love the videos. I have the exact same bike and also went with the 9" klockwerks windshield. As for the additional wind through the fairing, with my2020 road glides they did away with the operating vents in the lower part of the fairings. There are kits available that remove the existing tunnels and replace them with tunnels that have the closable vent doors. I installed one of these kits on my 21CVO RG and it makes a huge difference. Especially closing them at highway speeds.
that bike is beautiful cant get enough so i picked up a 2021 roadglide special vivid black billiard red the dealer was having an event day very buysy there was a 2021 cvo same as yours demo not for sale up close its even better sir......your a very lucky man...much respect .
Yes Robert, the lower vent also allow wind in your face. Up until 2020 those vents were operational. Due them being problematic the now removed that option. Although you can have them reinstalled $$$$$
Like you, I have the 14" and 9". I'm 5'10" and like seeing over the top. I wish KW made a 9" clear (why not!!!) I'm a Heritage owner also and I love the clear windshield it has. You might find that with the vent open, there is less wind on your face....try it. Also, MOST of the wind buffering comes from the bottom up!..not over the windshield. Place you had at the top of your helmet and you may have little wind buffering...so the windshield is doing it's job. Now close you legs close to the tank....that might get rid of a lot of buffering. Now put your open hand down by you legs/knees and you will eliminate more wind buffering. Bottom line - a lot of the buffering is coming from below and up....not over the top. So I installed a HD wind buffering shield...useless!! Saw a HD RG with a molded lower wind buffer installed in Daytona. But I think it was a special CVO order. Still looking....but close your legs to the tank and that will remove a LOT. Love your vids....sorry I missed you at Bike week. ONe more thing, for slow speed skills....head turn, friction zone, light rear breaks, preload, etc....If you ain''t doing 8 - 10 mph or more....down she goes!! PRELOAD and friction zone are THE MOST IMPORTANT. IMO, you're the only one of the "teachers' that emphasis the importance of PRELOAD....THANKS! I need that on my '20 RG with 2 - up most of the time. Heading to Lafayette, LA for rally and then Panama City Beach and Sturgis. Hope to see you.
Dang that a gorgeous bike. The 9" looks nicer. A fairing just makes a low pressure area behind it. The dual vents helps to add some pressure around your chest to control potential buffeting. Bugs will come thru the vents but screens are available for that. 31 yrs. on the job and I'm still working the road and looking to improve the skills. Thanks and keep getting after it Robert.
Robert just want to take the time out to tell you thanks.... I always felt uncomfortable when making sharp turns at slow speeds, I watched your videos and used the back brakes and clutch as you suggested and it worked perfectly...... my feet very suddenly to none touch the ground.... thanks bro ✊🏾.... Love that RG CVO!!!!

Good morning Robert, I wrote you last month on not sure if I should get a Road glide or Street glide for my first bike. I promised you I would let you know what I decided. Well, it wasn't neither.Lol. I still watch and enjoy your videos. I owe you 20 push ups. I'm not really computer savvy, but will try to send pics of my first Harley and video. Man that bike is absolutely on another level RS. I’m not apposed to the 14” if it works. Like you neighbor mentioned it doesn’t take away from the bike. But the 9” has the tight squared off look. Any way you go that bike is a Prince. Ride safe and ride often.
Robert. Is my understanding that the top edge of the windshield should be at the same level of the tip of your nose when you are sitting straight in your motorcycle. I did that, my son helped me with a láser level and I found that for me should be 10” windshield in my Ultra Limited. And it works. Try that approach and find out what height suggestion came out from the test Good luck and enjoy.
You may already know this but you can get the inserts to open and close the lower vents as well. For us northern winter riders they are a good thing lol. I prefer the 9 inch klockwerks windshield myself. I'm 6'2" and always ride with a full face modular helmet so I like some wind coming back for cooling purposes. As long as I'm not being buffeted to death I'm fine.
187 cm= 6,13 feet. Thank in advance ( I drove for years road king classic, amazing and super protective bike!...I know, will be very difficult find the same protection and confort on CVO - Road Glide, but... it's time too change! 🙂

I have a 8in.Windvest but I’m only 5’7” and it works great for me on my street glide special which I can Duct into it, I just came back from my Harley shop and I finally broke down and purchased a full face three in one Helmet. Saturday or Sunday I’ll take a good ride and I’ll give you my thoughts on it
That 9” looks great. I had the 14” touring model on my road glide and it made a huge difference with no helmet buffeting. I may try that 9” sport on my new ST glide though.
Robert. Just to let you know that I bought the 9” sport flare for my 2016 Road Glide…and hate it! I closed the vent and the wind hit right at the top of my helmet. I did watch the directions and the 9” should have been perfect. I’m going to return it and by the 12” one.
Hey Robert, Glad you purchased both. I have the 14” on mine, as a matter of fact, it’s been on my 15 RG as well before I traded it. I’ll be following closely cuz I’m interested in the 9” as well.
Hey Robert, I also went with the 9" on my RG. I'm a short 6 feet (5'-10") and it fits me perfectly. BTW I'm a soon to be retired HP, joining the ranks this December :)
Thank you for the video Robert. I'll be picking up my 2022 cvo blue steel tomorrow and I been pondering on the 9 as well but wasn't sure on the 14 I'm 5' 11" hoping the 9 will be the one for me as well and that it'll keep the wife comfortable as well. That's the most important thing...lol great job on all your videos, love them all. God bless you and all your brothers and sisters in the field still. I'd surely love to do a class on your biking skills, never hurts to be more confident. Take care!
Hey Robert thanks for posting anything is better than the stock road glide windshield I have 9 in on mine short Rider it works beautiful clockworks way to go
I've been wondering about the Kock werk 9" and you scared me when I saw the vent open and you were still getting more wind than you'd like. I thought I noticed the vent open LOL!!! This helped me on both levels and I'm not looking at the 9". I plan on doing a retirement ride for around 2 to 3 months and the stock shield is so sad for sure. I'm sold now. I want to thank you for your feed back on this.
Looks awesome. I had a 4 inch, stock, garbage stuffer windshield on my Electra Glide when I bought it. I put the 10" Klockworks on and it was too tall. It cut the wind, but I was looking right through the bend on the top. Everything was distorted. So I went with the 7". I love it. I still get a little buffering at 80mph, but nothing that bothers me too much. I wear a modular or a full face helmet. I rarely use the clear glass face shield. I usually pull down my sun shield instead. It keeps the bugs off enough and also gives me plenty of air circulation. Not to mention, full face protection. I like the touch of the 9" windsport windshield on your RG CVO. Very classy.
Hey Robert, I am from the boogie down Bronx an live in Florida. I started checking out your channel cause I need to work on my u turns and slow riding skills. I recommended you to my friends and they too are getting to know you. Thank brother.
I think the vents in the RG fairing provide some air pressure behind the fairing, to prevent air from swirling around the sides, trying to fill a big low pressure pocket behind the fairing. That swirling air coming around the fairing and up around the tank causes a lot of head buffeting because it’s so turbulent. The vents “backfill” the low pressure pocket with smoother air from the front. Closing those vents might introduce a whole new set of problems.
I have the Klock Werks 12-inch ProTour in Tint on my Road Glide and I really love that windshield. It still has the great flare look and the perfect hight on the Road Glide for me. I forgot to mention my height is 5'11" if anyone is wondering.
It’s so funny I had the same deciding factor with my bike I had to go with the 9” one because it was also a better way for me to see the burial holes on the mean streets of NYC
Excellent video! I like KW. Yeah, they cost a little more but the quality is there and you get what you pay for. QUESTION - I've always been curious to know what it''s like for a motor officer during the winter. What's it like? What gear do they wear? Do you ride as much or does the weather limit you and if so, were you desk bound or switch to a car patrol? Please tell us as much as you can about that. I'm sure your viewers would love to hear about it. Thanks.
Thank you very much! The only thing that limits riding is ice. Then cars are used. We wore leather jackets. I actually showed it on one of my very early videos.
I wondered that too about motormen that patrol in cold weather climates (such as NYC.. gets cold there in winter .. it as bad as chi Tho.. gotta get my winter gear together.. bought a full face the other day.. ibe always been a 3/4 helmet dude and used to stop riding around thanksgiving. Just got off a 15 year riding hiatus and don’t think I can go 3-4 months not riding. So if no ice or snow I gotta work out some winter riding gear for some short rides at least
@@geraldgoodiii6993 I spent my Career as a Trucker running the east Coast for 80 percent of my Loads, because it got me home more , Chicago gets for sure more snow than NYC, because its kinda on the coast the Ocean keeps it a bit more Temperate, now getting there going across I 80 in the Pennsylvania winter time was fun at times to say the least lol
If you don’t mind uniformity, you can park the red one front to the wall so you just ride into it and reverse duck walk a little to ride out. Just a thought. Nice bike either way.
I haven't seen this yet but am about to. I may change my mind, but I think that if it were me, I would start with the 9" and try it out. Go for about a 50 - 100 mile ride, then put the 14" on and do the same thing. This will tell you if the 14 is too tall and if the 9 has enough wind protection for the longer rides. I know that you don't plan on touring with your bikes but you may take an overnight ride or even just a 100 - 300 mile day ride. Remember the buffeting will wear you out, but for the most part, non police bikes you should look over and not through the windshield. I'm not sure about the police bikes. Finally stay with the one you like the best that yields the best protection. PRELOAD and KEEP IT LOADED!!!
Ok, after watching it. I think that you probably made the correct choice for you. Personally, I like the tallest windshield I can get and still see over. I have not tried a klockworks screen yet but I do plan to eventually. I know that you don't even have rain gear but you may still get caught in a shower and the taller screen may work better at keeping the rain off your face. In the end, it's your bike so you do you. 😀😀😀😀
Robert, that 9” looks the best and seems to add to the beauty of that sweet ride. I wondered about the “distance” when you mentioned the 14” shield and low-speed maneuvers.
Hi LT, love the new edition to your fleet. 9” deflector looks awesome. I love seeing that Simmons sign hanging under the TV, looks great in that awesome garage of yours. preloading and keeping it loaded everyday ✌🏻🇺🇸
Another awesome video thanks. Timely as I have had about enough of my 22 Road Glide and still trying to decide whether to order the 9 or the 14. Factory windshield truly sucks. But Robert, shorts and a tee shirt? Come on!
Thanks for video. I have to replace the OEM windshield on my 2016 Road Glide Ultra because it cracked where it mounts. I like the 9 inch…it looks better.
I have the 9" klock werk sport flare on my 2021 RGS and love the style & function of it just hate that Harley removed the option to close the lower vents good deal Rob
@Robert....!!! Wish I could meet you in person, shake your hand and tell you, thank you! Yet another awesome video on a product that I'm looking at and trying to decide on which one to buy. The 9 inch or the 14 inch dark smoke windshield. Your video help me with my decision. Going with a 9 inch K lock Werks shield. Best of all, I don't plan on buying the bike until July or August of this year. I have plenty of parts for it as of now. Really wanted to buy the shield and have that ready to install the day I get the bike. This is the second video of yours that has helped me in product decision making. The last video of yours that I checked out was on the TAB performance zombie exhaust systems. Your video was a big help on my new exhaust system. Again, thank you very much my friend and keep up the good video work....!!! Alec
I tried the 9” klockwerks windshield bought in sturgis rode home and got blasted by bugs and wind. They wanted me to go with the 14” didn’t like that one. So back to my 9” Windvest windshield. Good luck.
HeyTony. Yeah you saw it because when I edited the video, I made sure to zoom in on it. You ride a motorcycle brother and that's all that I care about. It's important that you and every other sport bike rider know that this channel is for all of you as well. The same rules apply to you guys. I just wish I could get some sport bike riders to come to a practice session. I've personally invited several of them.
Great video(s), but c'mon man at 13:29 you decided to duck walk backwards. You got the skills to pull off that tight u-turn!! Or, give it gas and drift that rear around!! Keep up the great/helpful content.🙂
Thanks! Yes that is insulation on the doors. I actually have it on there to help the garage stay cool and it does help, so I'm sure it also helps it stay warmer than it would be without it.
You need a dolly for the last bike... pull on and spin it around, back it in the spot LOL Also the windshield looks great! I would be picking at that little logo sticker as well. They should leave that off!
Also my clockworks screw holes on the LT hand side were not quite right I used the stock screen to locate proper locations and my dremel tool with Forstner bit to get to proper location.
Thanks for the piece on wind shields, very informative. Just choosing the 9” screen but there are different shades to choose from. Is the one you chose the darkest option, if so I will be going for that one. Looks cool. I am a retired UK cop so big shout out to my US brothers and sisters over there.
You still may consider a taller shield than the 9'', based on being as tall as you are and the fact that you wear a half helmet. Wind is not the only factor, keep in mind projectiles should also be considered. (Rocks/debris)
lets not forget about state road crew trucks spraying weedkiller on 2 lanes roads, I caught up with a slowly moving truck one day I didnt notice it was spraying for weeds until i got some caught in the high winds that day and back into my face n eyes I barely made it to a gas station n they didnt have a water hose outside, I had water bottles on the bike, but bad as my eyes was burning I needed to flush them for several minutes, I had saftey glasses on, its been googles for me ever since or custom made glasses with the soft material to seal the sides, another time with saftey glasses a bee or wasp got inside n stung be a few times before getting out, old doctor at the clinic the next day looked at my swollen eye and tan around my eyes from riding all summer, and said thats what happens when you ride a motorcyle without wearing a helmit, you all ready know I hadn't told them what happened yet, he was around the block once or twice lol, we have to protect our eyes much as possible, another time riding after dark I got a very small bug stuck in the tear dock of my eye, i tried water n a napkin, then water from a bottle, lucky a kid stopped with a eye flush kit in his med kit, Thank God for him, my custom riding glasses when I get a new eye perscription costs over 800 bucks, my vision is worth more than that to me, so I'm happy to pay, Thankfully I have had no more eye problems from riding the last 10 yrs, Thanks for making these pre-load Videos, I watch them and they do help sharpen n learn new skills for sure, I went with the 12 inch touring on my new road glide, its tall enough to give me great protection but at 6'3 I can see over it no problem, love your bike !!
One great looking bike. And yes, the 9" is the one for sure. Can you back your bike without "duckwalking". Now that would be impressive LOL ! If anyone can, I'd bet on ya !
Thank you very much! Thank you for watching and hopefully you’re subscribed!👍🏾😊 I use two jacks. OTC and J & S. I did a video comparing them. Check it out when you get a chance.
Sorry folks just a quick question... Whats the best site to purchase a good used Harley in the US...I am in Afrika Anticipate Thanks Hey Robert I love what you do fpr us rookie riders...cheers
I run a Freedom Shield on my street glide. Got a 4 or 5" shield and feel no wind, buffeting, been in the rain a few times and no rain hit me in the face.
2019 and under all those vent open or close they should have left it like that in my opinion and if u do night riding check out the custom dynamic headlight it's 100% better then the Harley Davidson headlight

@@fyrmn1969 I’m 6ft tall. I have the light tint windshield not the dark smoke. Visibility isn’t an issue. The windshield is below my line of site. 👍
with my saddlemen RoadSofa, and being 6'4" I went with 14" Klock Werks. I love it.
Yeah you definitely needed to go with the 14".
Mr. Simmons I agree with you 100% on cleaning the fairing before putting the windshield on. The bike looks amazing with both windshields!
Thank you very much!
I thought the 14 gave it a meaner look.

I'm a Street Glide guy; I have a 2018 SGS, but that is one good looking Road Glide. The 9" is a good choice LT.
Thanks Sam! I'm a Street Glide guy as well!
Hands down the 9” was the best choice with the CVO style and looks

Definitely 9" but since you really don't look through it you should get the blacked out one in stead of the tinted. Just looks even better IMO 😍

how tall are you ?
The perfect video, great job. I have just ordered the 9 inch. Thank you. You should think about getting these companies to sponsor you.
Thank you very much! Thank you for watching and hopefully you’re subscribed to my TH-cam channel!👍🏾😊 th-cam.com/users/BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle
Hey Robert, I also went with the 9" on my RG. I'm a short 6 feet (5'-10") and it fits me perfectly. BTW I'm a soon to be retired HP, joining the ranks this December :)
Congratulations!! Also, thank you for your service!
For a guy that used to dislike Harleys, you’ve come a long way!!!😜
Thank you for the video Robert. Take care!
It’s my pleasure. 😊 Thank you very much! I’m happy that my channel has been helpful to you! That makes all the time and effort that I put into this so worthwhile!

Which one did you get
Hey Robert thanks for posting anything is better than the stock road glide windshield I have 9 in on mine short Rider it works beautiful clockworks way to go
It’s my pleasure. 😊
Liking the 9 inch ordering one now, thanks for the video.

It’s my pleasure. 😊 Thank you for watching and hopefully you’re subscribed!👍🏾😊
Love your content, I have been riding all my light since a child and have learned a lot from you. Thank you!

Just my opinion….That CVO is the best looking in your stable!
Thanks Keith! Many share your opinion.
Thank you very much Jenni!
Hey Robert, I am from the boogie down Bronx an live in Florida. I started checking out your channel cause I need to work on my u turns and slow riding skills. I recommended you to my friends and they too are getting to know you. Thank brother.
Hey Al. The Bronx is in the house! Thank you for watching, sharing and subscribing!👍🏾😁
It’s my pleasure. 😊
Thanks!
I agree
I have the Klock Werks 12-inch ProTour in Tint on my Road Glide and I really love that windshield. It still has the great flare look and the perfect hight on the Road Glide for me.
I forgot to mention my height is 5'11" if anyone is wondering.
Thanks Jeff.
awesome thanks ,looking forward to receiving my pro touring as well,THANKS
You already know! That 9” all day!…You thought about using your bike lift to park the RG? Great video
Thank you very much! The lift wouldn't work. Even if it would, it would take much more time and effort to park.
Great review Robert, Thank you. I see that 9" klockwerks screen as a excellent upgrade for my 21 RGL. -Pete
Thank you very much! It’s my pleasure. 😊
The nine inch looks great!! I’m literally deciding between the 9 & 11 inch windshield currently. Thanks for the video & advice.
Thank you very much! It’s my pleasure.
It’s so funny I had the same deciding factor with my bike I had to go with the 9” one because it was also a better way for me to see the burial holes on the mean streets of NYC
Yes I remember those holes.😄
9" all day! Beautiful bike Sir!!
Thank you very much!
That was a super easy install...no wonder you kept switching them out. I would have just dealt with it the next day.
If you don’t mind uniformity, you can park the red one front to the wall so you just ride into it and reverse duck walk a little to ride out. Just a thought. Nice bike either way.
Thanks! No I could never do that. That would drive me crazy!
Thanks Randy! That's exactly what I'm going to do. And the police bikes follow the same rule. You're never supposed to look through the windshield.
Robert, that 9” looks the best and seems to add to the beauty of that sweet ride. I wondered about the “distance” when you mentioned the 14” shield and low-speed maneuvers.
Thanks. the 14" would have no adverse effect on my slow speed maneuvers.👍🏾
Hi LT, love the new edition to your fleet. 9” deflector looks awesome. I love seeing that Simmons sign hanging under the TV, looks great in that awesome garage of yours. preloading and keeping it loaded everyday ✌🏻🇺🇸
Hey Dan. Thank you very much! Yeah I got that Simmons sign from a very cool Preloader! It's a permanent part of the garage now.👍🏾😁
@@BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle lol, I know I’m the cool guy that made it for you 😂 have a good one my friend. Pre-loaded Dan P✌🏻🇺🇸

I like the look of the 9” as well. Prelooooaaaddd.
Thank you very much! And Keep it loaded!!
Both my Glides have multi windshields all clock works 4,5,6 8.5 is as tall as I need seems to my go to on both.
Thanks.
Another awesome video thanks. Timely as I have had about enough of my 22 Road Glide and still trying to decide whether to order the 9 or the 14. Factory windshield truly sucks. But Robert, shorts and a tee shirt? Come on!
Thanks!
I think those lower vents brings the air up to your shoulders. If blocked off it might lower your air around the body portion
Thanks!
Thanks for video. I have to replace the OEM windshield on my 2016 Road Glide Ultra because it cracked where it mounts. I like the 9 inch…it looks better.
It’s my pleasure. 😊 I agree
I have the 9" klock werk sport flare on my 2021 RGS and love the style & function of it just hate that Harley removed the option to close the lower vents good deal Rob
Thank you very much!
Sweet Husband, I’m glad you found a windshield to protect your beautiful eyes and face💋!
Anita you make us all jealous 😊 keep it up. 👍🏾
@@Pkerr100 I’m blushing ☺️!
Thank you very much sweetheart!
Bro your wife gotta make your feel like a real king… lol….I jus ordered the 6 inch blacked out one….
How tall are you?
Looks great with the 9 " windshield. Waiting for your Yankee sign removal video!
😂

Good luck.
Thank you very much!
Love you motorcycle collection! I would like a Road Glide also. One Street Glide and one Road Glide would be nice.
Thank you very much!
I’m 5’5” on a good day and the 9” is great!
Thanks!
Can you see over the windshield with the 9"? I'm 5'7"" and worried it will be too high - do you carry a passenger, did they get any buffeting?
Either shield. But I'm sure you'll decide on the one that you like best.
Thank you very much Terry!
I saw the open vent , but who am I to say anything I ride a v twin sports bike. Don't be too hard on me, I'm watching you all the way from Queens N.Y.
Thats a beautiful bike Rob. I put the 14 inch on my Road Glide, but I've been seriously looking at putting the 9 inch because of the way it looks.
Thank you very much! If you decide to do that, order it from Amazon. That way if it doesn’t work well for you, no problem returning it. 👍🏾
REAL NAME BRIAN ZINNERMAN....WHATS UP CUZ? GREAT TO SEE YOU DOING YOUR THING AS USUAL. STAY BLESSED CUZ
Hey Brian. Thank you very much!
14” Sport Flare
Great video(s), but c'mon man at 13:29 you decided to duck walk backwards. You got the skills to pull off that tight u-turn!! Or, give it gas and drift that rear around!! Keep up the great/helpful content.🙂
😂 Ducks don’t walk backwards.
Yes sir the 9" windshield is a much better look. But that's only half of the equation.
Thank you very much! Exactly!
@David M, he lives in Georgia its always warm. Id suspect tht insulation isn't to keep the garage warm. Imo.
Correct!
Looks good on the bike. Have one question. Is that insulation on your garage door and if it is does it help the garage stay warm.
Good question, I was going to ask the same thing 🤔🤔
Thanks! Yes that is insulation on the doors. I actually have it on there to help the garage stay cool and it does help, so I'm sure it also helps it stay warmer than it would be without it.
@@BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle 👍🏽thanks bro
I like the 9 better as well
Beautiful bike I like the 9" windshield thank you for sharing.
Thank you very much! It’s my pleasure. 😊
You need a dolly for the last bike... pull on and spin it around, back it in the spot LOL Also the windshield looks great! I would be picking at that little logo sticker as well. They should leave that off!
Thanks Damon! Yes I removed the sticker.
Also my clockworks screw holes on the LT hand side were not quite right I used the stock screen to locate proper locations and my dremel tool with Forstner bit to get to proper location.
Thank you.
Thanks for the piece on wind shields, very informative. Just choosing the 9” screen but there are different shades to choose from. Is the one you chose the darkest option, if so I will be going for that one. Looks cool. I am a retired UK cop so big shout out to my US brothers and sisters over there.
It’s my pleasure. 😊 No mine is smoked not blacked out. Also, thank you for your service!
You still may consider a taller shield than the 9'', based on being as tall as you are and the fact that you wear a half helmet. Wind is not the only factor, keep in mind projectiles should also be considered. (Rocks/debris)
Thanks! Yes I did consider that. I will try it out for awhile. I still have the 14" if it's necessary to switch it.
lets not forget about state road crew trucks spraying weedkiller on 2 lanes roads, I caught up with a slowly moving truck one day I didnt notice it was spraying for weeds until i got some caught in the high winds that day and back into my face n eyes I barely made it to a gas station n they didnt have a water hose outside, I had water bottles on the bike, but bad as my eyes was burning I needed to flush them for several minutes, I had saftey glasses on, its been googles for me ever since or custom made glasses with the soft material to seal the sides, another time with saftey glasses a bee or wasp got inside n stung be a few times before getting out, old doctor at the clinic the next day looked at my swollen eye and tan around my eyes from riding all summer, and said thats what happens when you ride a motorcyle without wearing a helmit, you all ready know I hadn't told them what happened yet, he was around the block once or twice lol, we have to protect our eyes much as possible, another time riding after dark I got a very small bug stuck in the tear dock of my eye, i tried water n a napkin, then water from a bottle, lucky a kid stopped with a eye flush kit in his med kit, Thank God for him, my custom riding glasses when I get a new eye perscription costs over 800 bucks, my vision is worth more than that to me, so I'm happy to pay, Thankfully I have had no more eye problems from riding the last 10 yrs, Thanks for making these pre-load Videos, I watch them and they do help sharpen n learn new skills for sure, I went with the 12 inch touring on my new road glide, its tall enough to give me great protection but at 6'3 I can see over it no problem, love your bike !!
Beautiful collection of motorcycles Robert.
Thank you very much!
Looks good. I’ve got one on my wish list! Awesome video.
Thank you very much Phil!
Great job buddy watching you all the time 🏍💯✊✊🤘🏼⚡️🙏🏽🤙👍🔥

One great looking bike. And yes, the 9" is the one for sure.
Can you back your bike without "duckwalking". Now that would be impressive LOL !
If anyone can, I'd bet on ya !
Thanks! No but like I tell everyone, ducks don’t walk backwards. 😂
9" looks great! Good video, thank you. I ordered the same one for my new RG CVO. By the way, what bike jack/lift do you use for the garage?
Thank you very much! Thank you for watching and hopefully you’re subscribed!👍🏾😊 I use two jacks. OTC and J & S. I did a video comparing them. Check it out when you get a chance.

I run a Freedom Shield on my street glide. Got a 4 or 5" shield and feel no wind, buffeting, been in the rain a few times and no rain hit me in the face.
Thanks Adam.
The 9” wasn’t quite enough but way better then stock.
Thanks!
2019 and under all those vent open or close they should have left it like that in my opinion and if u do night riding check out the custom dynamic headlight it's 100% better then the Harley Davidson headlight
Had custom dynamic leds on my road king & miss them. Will upgrade by spring for new 21 RG Std. Great lights!
Thanks!
