Here go two companies that I absolutely love. They provide quality parts on nothing like what I spoke about in this video.

  • @deanwhite1776

Where is the metal plate!! I even put groceries in mine, zero issues over 5 years! No plate even the OEM one would break!!

  • @rice8113

You were suppose to have a plate in the tour pack to prevent that specific thing from happening. The amazon brands dont include them and you have to buy them separately.

Great review. Thanks for letting us know what to expect. Glad you caught it before it suffered catastrophic failure

  • @JLS69venture

    Thanks for the review

  • @Howie2025

Finally, a real review. Thank you, you just saved me from buying something cheap.

  • @71donkrider

I had same problem with the chopped! I thought maybe I broke it by overloading it!!! You may have saved a life with this video😂

Thanks for you review. I was about to buy that tour pack lol.

  • @randomstuffwithjoe

I think Advanblack and TCMT are the same tour pack. They're both Chinese made. I watched another video recently from a guy who had the same issue with the cracked bottom on his Advanblack king pack.

Dude, I am now sold on a king tour pack. "I love it" awesome video, and I'm looking into a pair of TCMT lowers myself for my road glide.

Like the voice change. Great information

The king tour pak body flexes even with a bottom plate. The latch stays locked but opens up anyway. Need to stiffen inside corners get HD latch. Might help.

  • @bigjohnq1

Did you have the metal plate on the inside. The base of the tour pak gets sandwiched between the metal plate and the docking mount.

Thanks... You just saved me some cash I was just looking at a chopped from TCMT. But I think I will travel the way I've always traveled with my Military Duffel or Outlaw Duffel. Everything else goes into the saddlebags.

Happy 4th of July. Thanks for the follow-up. Question, did you put the steel plate inside? Im in the process of looking at adding a tour pack. Thank you

Did you have the steel mounting plate that is recommended for the inside? What size mounting bolts and nuts did you use? Finally what quick disconnect rack did you get as well? I have the TCMT 10" chopped set-up with steel inner bottom plate half inch stainless steel screws and nuts and XMFT lowers I have put approximately 50 thousand miles or so down with no failures on a 2015 Street Glide which is now at 98 thou. There are a few other tricks that are suggested to do when using the AMAZON after market parts. However my latest purchase a 2022 Road Glide Limited negated the need to do all of that over again. Just wanted to know how you mounted the unit as I was thinking of purchasing the King for the Street Glide!
