    Thank you. I really liked this video. Pandemic got me using my phone more, so I've injured my thumb (s)

    Thank you for this video… I am a barber by trade and also a working musician dealing with CMC joint arthritis in my left hand! I am trying to manage this as best I can without getting surgery…

    Yours was the third video I clicked on tonight for this info. Third time's the charm! I like how you are calm and clear. Also the sound quality of your voice recording is great. I did your warmups while massaging some arnica cream (Traumeel) into my painful thumb joint with a vibrator which I think was meant for something else 🤭. I'll look for a rubber band some other time. Thumbs UP! 👍

    What if you feel a couple of mild clicks while you do those exercises? I think it’s called crepitus. Not really pain. So can you just do the exercises through that? Or does the click mean that yay are rubbing the cartilage in a way that will make things worse? I don’t have any visible deformity yet, but have had symptoms of cmc arthritis for around 4 years. Also, what do you think of steroid injections?

      Crepitus! I would not do the exercises through pain, but often times pain free clicking is not harmful.

    My MCP joint locks when I grip something with all my might, it never used to do this before, I was wondering if you knew of any exercises for that?

      Hmm… would probably be good getting seen by a doctor to check the tendons and ligaments to make sure nothing more serious is going on.

      @@ForwardTherapy So not to Basel thumb joint but the actual joint in the thumb. Right behind the thumbnail where the thumb Bends. Developing a typical arthritis bump but it’s pretty painful- Just using Voltaren gel currently
