Hello. Great video. Just wonder what are your thoughts on Chris Leong treatment for Dequervains ?

Out of desperation, I was searching online for a doctor to get injections in my wrist after months of dealing with severe pain. I was desperate. My hand was pretty much useless. I couldn't grab anything without radiating pain up my forearm, severe pain flares, and painful poppings near the wrist (kind of like my tendons were rolling over one another and getting stuck - super painful). For some reason resting it caused pain too. The mornings were terrible (with our without a brace); it was if my wrist were like a spoiled child screaming for attention every morning. For about 4 - 5 weeks I've been wearing a brace, icing, heating, taped my thumb, using a topical steroid cream, switched to mousing with my left hand, and had zero success. I did the massages recommended in this video and the pain almost immediately went away. I can't thank you enough for putting this video out and breaking down the mechanics of the body that causes this to happen. I actually learned something from TH-cam. Can't say that every day.

@@pavankumaraakash I have fully recovered from this injury. The fastest way to heal it is by not using the injured hand AT ALL! Not even using cellphone, driving, swiping your ass and etc. Trust me

Surgeon put me in brace. After 2 visits, he was ready operate. My manicurist taught me these stretches and resolved my issue. The surgeon was surprised.
I seldom have any issues but, when I do, it is easy to heal again with the stretches.

I have been dealing with De Quervaine's for many months now. Despite seeing 2-3 doctors, I've not gotten relief. I've watched more videos than I can count on youtube, desperately looking for a way to get relief, and yours is the first video that A) explains the cause and effect in detail B) explains in a way that is easily understandable C) talks about the muscles (which I've always felt were part of the issue with me) D) Tells us to avoid rubbing the painful area (which I've always wondered if I should be doing) E) gives detailed massage instructions F) give me hope.
I guess that's just a really long way of saying thank you so very much for creating this video, for being thorough and easy to understand, and for caring about other people and wanting to help them. I appreciate you and I am very encouraged.

This Dr really healed my pain. I had this for years. All my drs told me it was carpal, but according to him I had “tendinitis” . I was scheduled for surgery and cancelled 3 days prior. I decided to give therapy one more try. I was doing this every day, twice a day. I started seeing the difference the second month! I have been free of pain for 3 years now.
I put ice a lot after any activity.
I can’t thank enough this Dr. He literally saved me from this terrible pain!

But I cured it on my own with my own exercises. Now I play tennis and play the piano without any problem.

Get yourself a soft stand for your I-pad . I have a triangle shaped one with ledges to set the iPad on. No hand action needed except typing. I have one on my lap most of the day and I put it on my nite stand so I can lay on my side in bed to watch a tv show or movie to put me to sleep. I bought my first one on Amazon and it was about $40 Cnd. I found one in the Dollar Store for about $5 that is smaller and lighter to take with me but it isn’t very sturdy for long term use. Best $40 I ever spent.

Massage may help but you have to let your hand heal by not using it trust me! I had De Quervain's Tendinosis for 8 months and now the pain is completely gone.
