- Loretta Lynn Butcher Holler 2023! The one-time home of a true legend of country music! We made plans to see it after we made our trip to Loretta Lynn's Hurricane Mills never imagining we'd lose her before we could get t'S'here. We weren't sure if we should go after finding out online it was now permanently close'Sd but had to know if it was still accessible for fans. Was it still the same? Not only did we get a glimpse of her Butcher Holler home but we ran across a family member who gave us some insight on her family and the town she lived in! If you're a Loretta fan, we think you'll enjoy what we found!

We grew up listening to her music. Love the sweet flowers people sent. Cute dogs. What no cats? 😂😂. What a peaceful scene with the horses grazing. Coal Miner’s Daughter was an exceptional movie. The store is cool. Good. Guess you’ll have to plan another trip. He has a lot of history in that little store.

This song has so much meaning to me. My grandma actually grew up playing in old coal mines on the Tennessee/Kentucky line so it kinda hits home when I here it.

Always great watching your videos. My Dad was a huge fan of hers and Patsy Cline. So I grew up, listening to the music even though I’m a tad bit younger. Not my whole lot but just a little bit.

Thanks for doing all you could. Loved her so very much I wanted to meet her so badly and was so sad when she passed. I know when people would tour her ranch she would occasionally make an appearance. She was such a humble and lovely woman. I know all her songs. I remember in the movie when she yelled at Herman!! That store was amazing we love stores like that. We saw you commenting on a friend's channel so glad we checked you out..New subscribers and supporters!!

This is such an unusual, unique story. My wife comes from a similar background in the Appalachians and absolutely adores classic country music. We will have to take her.

Interesting! Loretta Lynn actually got her big break after playing a show at a converted chicken coop in my home town of Vancouver. In 1959, she performed live at the coop, on a night the producers, who'd just founded Zero Records, were in the building.
