The Nexon platform is in fact the same as that of Vista. Vista was quite a spacious and comfortable car with decent ground clearance. Very smart of Tata to build a totally different car and a top seller on top of that.

I dont agree your comments on Tata, been using Nexon from 5 years, 2018 Diesel Model. Had problems with Gearbox and Tata really helped us and changed the entire gearbox after 3 years for free of cost. There are small problems, like the rotary of volume tend to break and even AC vents outer cover, rest we never had any issues, consistently getting more than 20 KM/L, even with spirited riding. Met with an accident last year and our car had few scratches and the opposite car (Baleno) crashed on one side, and entire light assembly and front bumper was gone. In 5 year ownership we had 3 niggles. We can easily live with all.
Bro im telling you, even i own a nexon for more than 1.5years and these guys are simply bashing the brand for no reason...not at units have problems and they get fixed easily...

I request you both to please make a detailed episode on Gear boxes of cars ie. AMT, CVT, IMT, DCT/DSG, AUTOMATIC, TORQUE CONVERTER, etc with use of paddle shifters. Please explain in full covering points about durability, reliability, power output, maintenance cost, lifespan, low & High performance, fuel economy, heating issue (if any). This really will be helpful & also it is due from you both as you have not done it. 😊

U and gagan have pointed out about Diesel efficiency n nvh of 1.5 diesel of Kia sonet. Can u pls elaborate on the same with new episode. My seltos auto shows 25kmpl on mid but in tank to tank fetches only 19kmpl under test condition.
MID of many cars now a days are very optimistic. My diesel tigor used to show 23-24 kmpl but in reality it was around 19kmpl. When discussed with friends, their Creta, seltos, Grand vitaras and XUVs were having same trait- over estimation of fuel economy ! Reecntly I shifted to City hybrid which has just 1 kmpl difference in MID and real fuel economy.
@@saurabhcoomar6120 I have 2 sletos diesel autos 2019 n 2022 models. On trial with Kia , 2022 model with 20k km running, showed 25kmpl but gave only 19, while 2019 model,which has done 65k km,showed 21.8 kmpl n gave 21kmpl. Kia is not able to answer this anomaly. Test was done by Kia technician.

One thing you guys missed that is that the navigation screen on Himalayan disappears when we locked the phone, then it only show maps like previous tripper navigation way, then what's the use if we have to keep the phone unlocked in pocket. It's a serious bug they need to fix.
Unfortunately it’s not possible, the way it works is by casting the entire phone screen on the cluster, kinda like screen mirroring, not like CarPlay or android auto. It’s the hardware limitation. Only half baked solution would be reduce phone brightness to low to save some battery.
