@@sansdance5011 hmm it should not, but in Plague there are a lot of random events happening. I would love to help you out but it's quite hard to do over the INet^^ I would recommend you try the given strat and check where it goes wrong, then try to adapt from there.
for anyone who is wondering if this still works, yes it does and its the best way possible, i used to do this with the other difficulty, but after all these years i forgot how it worked and this guide helped me alot, one hint i got tho, ALWAYS watch out for the islands, They ruined 12 of my runs, always try to send zombies there as quick as possible before the foundation guys show up there, and if they do, then hope u have a country around it where a ton of zombies are in, or else you might see yourself losing to one single country! best guide
Would you be able to make a new one for this for PI: Evolved? No matter what i do or how strict i follow this guide i can't for the life of me win the game against the zcoms, i think it has to do with the fact that in Evolved the zombies can't cross countries. they need direct line of sight in to the invading country
It at least got me through Normal. I'll have to try it on Brutal someday soon. It took 3 or 4 tries but thats to be expected when you get some bizarrely timed early mutations

I followed the guide. I was always losing Because I'm always trying to make sure people don't get symptoms but it turns out symptoms is what was required plus there was like one station to destroy so I was really lucky
I did everything you did in the video at least 5 times now, and I lost all of them. The z-coms just kept expanding to every country and my zombies were taking too long to get to a country or I didn’t have enough dna
Try to have a good spread before turning them into zombies. This way you are near all potential Z-COM Stations and can destroy them before they get too strong. Hope this help
Doesn’t work I have been trying the same and same thing for over 10 attempts (4 hours) and it still doesn’t work I have every fighting symptom and it doesn’t work I move to a country to infect I get killed this guide is just bs all your other guides work at least
try to slow the game down then, just like I sometimes do at 06:00. It's very important that you spread the zombies AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. So that you have a horde nearby if a Z-Com appears. Because if you first have to travel there, then yeah it's gonna be hard.

You unlock one gen, per time you win a plague. Normal or Brutal. If you want to 'farm' more gens, a speedrun on normal would probably be the fastest way.
