This scenario is rather interesting... especially if you know what's going on in the descriptions of the symptoms, abilities and transmissions.
Edit: As far as I can tell, everything should be right.
Most of the medico babbel is correct but some of it is just empty of actual meaning/information.
No need for medical school to fully comprehend all that stuff Pravus, just have some interest in biology besides the stuff you pick up at school and you'll get a long way.

I can understand your confusion on these terms. They’re actually mostly biology terms and I know them because my mother is a biology teacher. Although most of the symptoms here were hijacking cells or messing up the process. Something along those lines.

Trust me. These terms can be hard. Since it's based on the cellular level, there are many, MANY terms. Eukaryotic means a cell with a nucleus

The real confusion is, "Okay, cool science there, but what does the mutation actually do? Does it increase the transmission between contact? Am I becoming brain dead? Let me check my pulse real fa-"
I’m currently working on a PhD in chemical neuroscience and I can tell you that most of these biomedical descriptions are actually very nonsensical hahaha props for trying to include some new terminology tho

I know I’m a year late, but the gene expression description basically means that the amino acids are being turned into proteins to help with cellular communication between each piece of the mRNA.
