On mobile I could only attack for like, 3-4 days before having to heal, on the last Templar base I had to go back and forth at least 12 times, on casual.
The shadow and simian plagues is near impossible on mobile

There is also some combo with symptoms that makes them sparkle.

You can actually teleport anywhere in the country if you set up a lair there.. so Russia is *VERY* nice to get a lair there
I set up a lair in the US, Australia, and Russia
slight improvement of your strat:
if you wait until 800 DNA and evolve everything at once, it's a 500k score guaranteed, without needing to get a second vampire

Hello pravus, I recently got back into playing plague inc and find your videos extremely entertaining to watch. I used to be a massive sc2 player but as off lately have been unable to devote much time to it due to work, hence me playing plague inc and various games that are accessible on my phone. I noticed you have referenced starcraft in several off your videos, and I would just like to say that it would honestly be awesome to watch you cast a few sc2 games, and would love to see it happen. Wether it be professional 1v1s, campaign or anything sc2 related Id watch it for sure, and I am confident many others would. I know its a long shot but I thought Id leave this comment here in the hopes you may read it and consider. Either way, keep up the good work, peace out pravus!

You can safely try this strategy, day 1, no genes on Mega-Brutal Dificulty and still get five Bio-Hazards (stars), a couple of tips tough, you might want to consider also the perks Lair Healing and Lair Healing 2( in addition to Dark Ritual 1 and 2) while fighting the templars so you don't come at a Stalemate with them healing as fast as you do, he also got pretty unlucky with the templars starting 6 bases at once, tipically they will mount 4-5 bases.
Also, you can telepor back to anywhere in you lairs nation, so say you made a lair in Russia, that gives you a HUGE space of land to teleport to and from easily replacing the Asia lair, unless you want the extra Lair DNA

Pravus what do you think of running socially awkward bat to save on flying through and fro from templar bases? I find that its easier to manage when you dont need to keep attacking over and over.
I had so much more trouble than you with the final templar base, I had to go back and forth from the base to my lair 24 times. Even so I tried this strategy a few times and it worked in the end.
I managed to evolve every symptom, transmission and ability with this guide. I even farmed 700 DNA.

Need a strategy specific to mobile. This only works on PC. On Android the bat takes too much damage. Ended stalemated on the last base.
It actually works on mobile, but it's just way harder than on PC.

I remember over a year ago that the templars were much easier than they are now! I follow the same strategy everytime dealing with them first, I dunno back then your vampire could beat at least 2 bases with nearly maxed attack, and not need to heal... But now it takes my vampire 3 attempts to beat a fresh base...

How do you teleport to your bases? I can't find anything in the key bindings, in the wiki, and neither right or left clicking do anything.
Michael Nadler Hey first buy Lair then shadow portal which appears under bat after you buy Lair. Next, set up a lair. Let's say your lair is in Brazil and you are in China just fly to Brazil where your lair is and he will automatically teleport there. I hope this helps.
Everyone! I have found something out. I have now completed mega brutal twice with five stars on mobile and the genes I used were witch doctor, budget bat, healthy eater, aquacyte, and hydrophyle. I did the same strategy in this video and as soon as I could I would defeat the Templar. For the last two put a lair right next to the Templar and keep going back to it when you’re low and just constantly attack them. If you don’t want to do that max upgrade blood ritual and use blood rage to heal instead of a lair. Then I go to the Caribbean and eat them and then go to China until I have 600 bloodpoints. Another thing is to destroy the cure labs as fast as possible so the cure percentage is low so you get more points. That is all and I hope that helps you.
This strategy is still very effective.. You will have to make adjustments if you don't have the genes listed.

Great video's been watching some older also.. trying your method but for me it's still hard to get. i keep geeting them far appart. and after the first 2 Templar's are down the 3rd and4th always get me killed or i can't kill / heal fast enough.

You unlock the genes by playing the game, one by one.

You can actually farm genetic code options by just saving your game right before you beat it, and just load that game several times. And boom, you get different genetic code options unlocked every time until you have unlocked them all. Does not matter what disease type or difficulty (Works In Cure Mode), and with necroa virus and shadow plague.

Hey what if you create a 2nd vampire early on with your DNA point to help you to get rid of Templar faster? Then you should feast 600 points faster after that?
I believe that creating a second vampire requires the shadow blessing upgrade which means that in order to do that you would have to start infecting people. If you infect people before you destroy the Templars it becomes difficult to deal with the cure and the Templars at the same time.
Anyone else notice in the ending recap of the game that there was a vampire/bat symbol hovering over the first lair that was placed
Pravus, could you please come up with a strategy that works on mobile? For some reason, this and simian flu are damn near impossible on mobile. So we need a different strategy.

My problem was that I had to attack the 4th templar base like 15 times, so it took really long
Just tried that, took a very very very long time to beat the final templar. But once I kill it everything went easy.

on mobile, i can't kill any templar bases in less than 15 attack/heal cycles. never cleared them all. by the 3rd or 4th base, they heal as fast as i do. and thats with everything available in abilities... so there's that...

I still can't beat it on mega brutal since I can't get the special traits or unlocked needed to help, any tips guys?
You can still beat the Shadow Plague using this strategy even if you don't have any special traits. Just make sure you don't use up all your DNA and strand yourself on an island and be extra cautious around the Templar.
nick oconard I did it quite easily without any traits at all on multiple occasions (learned from his first video). At which stage did the strategy mess up? Fighting the templars or the cure?

wow...i never realized that Shadow plaque is quiet complex to gain 3 stars.
I tried and got 1,016,900 Scores on this on my first time using this strategy.
Literally evolved EVERY transmissions, symptoms and vampires.
Stockpiled about 1,000 DNAs
Left with around ~200 DNAs at the end of the game
Made 6 vampires
also got blood wall combo XD
