I feel so sorry for the TARDIS. She's probably only just healed herself over the Flux and the Reset that was needed to banish its implications... And now she's at the mercy of the Toymaker's Legions and in this case, his child.
I love how dark the implications are for this scene - just the whole idea of having a Nuclear Winter be the purest form of music with aeolian tones is chilling to the bone.
I love Jinkx's explaination of Maestro's three outfits. The first piano outfit was their "ready for anything" fit, the last was their "going into battle" fit. But this dress is what the Maestro wears when they have nothing to worry about and is in complete control
The Doctor is just at the point where the only equals are beings of pure omnipotents like the Toymaker and Maestro. Makes you wonder what other primordial beings are next? Imagination, creation, destruction, an actual lord of time like Bad Wolf?
I can't get enough of Maestro's facial expressions and body language. The way they move is like a predator toying with their prey. When angry, they are almost feral. My new favorite villain.
The maestro was such a great combination of charming and menacing with how unhinged they were. Could go from everyone’s favorite music teacher to a killer who stays to listen to you scream
I did find it ironic when the Doctor said the Toymaker would never cheat, when he sort of does. Do you count bending the rules as cheating? It isn't but is in a way.
I don’t know what’s more amusing about the Toymaker being their father,the idea that the Toymaker got bored enough to create an offspring out of sheer will power or that someone snogged the Celestial Toymaker
I love how unhinged & chaotic Maestro is -- yet at the same time, charismatic! Reminds me of something akin to 'Alice in Wonderland,' that same kind of madness. Jinkx played the villain perfectly!

I think Maestro is visually and somewhat thematically based on the Music Meister, a villain from Batman: TBATB, also played by Neil Patrick Harris.

I'm unsure what fans of Doctor who think of this character, but I quite like this maestro individual. Very much reminds me of British pantomime.
