Tried removing the screws to open laptop and remove and reconnect battery but it wont open. In less than 1 min, battery turned down. It's worth the 2 mins of replying here. If just holding the power button doesn't work, try doing what I did, My laptop wasn't turning on for about 3-4 months, today, I plugged it in and held the power button and now it works 😁 so you can try plugging it in and holding the power button! 😀😀😀😀

Also worth trying: Leave it plugged in for a while (like 15min), Then unplug it, Push & hold down the power button & while still holding down the power button reconnect the power supply... This even works great on laptops that have removable batteries too - Example: older HP laptops often had what seemed like a permanent battery failure but following these steps I've managed to revive so many over the years that I've actually lost count!!
So I don't care how long your video was but it was the only video that explained laptop with internal battery and didn't involve opening bottom to get to battery which should not be done by anyone who doesn't know what they are doing and could result in further damage. Luckily I know better than to unscrew bottom and risk further damage to other components that when finding your video I had nothing to lose by trying to hold button down until something happened which took a minute until power button blinked and nothing happened that I released power button and the second time it instantly came on so thank you for video and those who commented about length of video are probably the computer nerds who would rather others not know this simple trick because it hurts their business of charging people to do exactly this so those who share their knowledge for others to gain instead of themselves needs applauding not ridiculed.

Mine is a 3 month old hp laptop with integrated battery (just figured that out now lol😊) 1.connect your laptop to charge, an orange light comes on on mine when I do this. 2. By the time I watched your video, while figuring out why it wont come on, mine had been plugged in for about half hr as I hadn't used my laptop for about 2 months though I'm sure it had full battery when I last put it away so if you haven't used your laptop for ages, charge it first for a good 30 to 45min even though it was fully charged the last time you used it. 3. Press and hold power button until you hear that sound a laptop makes when it switches on 4. On mine A message came on about "reboot, boot" or something like that asking me to select options but I didn't select or click anything. 5. My sceeensaver came on in under a minute, but without the login box so I right clicked my laptop pad and login box came on 6. Power battery was at 46% by the time I logged on ■i think this problem could be due to not using the laptop for months, battery dying, gadget going into a comma and needing a bit of waking up.

I think it came up with these options cuz I pressed the novo button. The novo button is a small button that should be near ur power button and use a pin or pencil to press it and it should restet everything. Basically it's a reset button and then just follow the steps above

if your laptop build with internal battery and wont turn on, u can try just hold the power button without remove ur battery adapter..hold for 20-30 second ! it works for my HP Pavilion.

I had to reinstall drivers for the mouse pad and battery. Turn off the computer, remove the battery and reinstall the drivers. If that doesn't work the battery, motherboard, power supply could be an issue. There's also an issue where the screen will blackout randomly. It isn't going into sleep mode. I don't know if it's Lenovo or Microsoft... If it is a driver issue I'm blaming Microsoft.

I think my issue is related to BIOS and I need to reset it. Since long my Vaio laptop battery had gone exhausted. So, I used to start my laptop by connecting it directly and pressing the power button on, lights would start blinking, fan would start running but there'd be no display; the laptop wouldn't turn on. In such a situation can I connect the laptop with an external monitor or an led tv will there be display? If yes, what does that signify? Please confirm connecting the laptop with an external monitor is advisable? The laptop screen went black when the boot mode was changed from LEGACY to UEFI. Do you think by taking out the CMOS battery will reset the BIOS?
